Happy Easter!!!!

Sorry, I haven't updated in a while, life is crazy lately as you may have noticed, but I made an extra-long chapter to make up for it!

====================

Nymeria's P.O.V

I watched as North's eyes closed and his body finally relaxed ever so slightly, I stared at him for a moment, frowning at the scars and bruises that were visible, I can only imagine what that beast did to him, I sighed and turned and walked towards the door.

I opened it slowly and peeked back at North, he was fast asleep and that will hopefully help him in some way. I then quietly closed the door and walked slowly away from the door, I then made my way to the staircase and walked slowly down.

 I heard voices coming from the medical room, I would have hoped everyone would have gone to bed by now, but no one but North was sleeping tonight.

I then walked over and opened the door and the voices immediately stopped, I sighed and walked over and sat down with the rest of the group. "H-How is he?" Ashby was the first to speak and I smiled softly, "He seems more relaxed" I spoke the truth, he wasn't as tense as he was when I first found him.

My eyes wandered till they landed on Miah who sat next to the Demon King, Drogo with a sad look on her face, she must be feeling guilty after what happened with North. Not that I'm defending her or anything but it's not her fault when a wolf's mate is involved I understand the protectiveness and heartache.

I was in love once too.

I then sighed, gaining immediate attention from the quiet room, "Don't worry-" I began in a softer tone I had only used with North, "He will be fine, one way or another-" I leaned forward with a smile, "He's stronger than you think" I assured them and what I said was no lie.

That boy has the weight of the world on his shoulders and still manages to stand, he will beat this, I know it. He'll be just fine, it may take a little time and effort, but he'll be fine.

Miah nodded in my direction with a small smile, I nodded back slightly and smiled widely. Before anyone could say anything else, the door suddenly opened with swiftness. All eyes went to the one who was responsible.

There, stood a young witch with fiery hair, she stared at everyone in the room with sadness, poor thing must miss her mate.

She then finally spoke after her tired eyes scanned the room,

"Where is my North?"

=======================

North's P.O.V

Sleep, beautiful sleep, something I have craved for what felt like years, I sighed as I let myself fall into dreamland. The darkness around me turned to white light and soon the room in front of me was clear.

I was back.

Back at the place that was cemented in my memory forever. I once again was resting on a handmade bed with a silk sewn pillow behind my head. I then sat up and looked around in shock. Why am I back here, I'm not dying, or at least I don't think I am.

The horizon in the distance remained the same as before, so did the forest and the green hills, along with the lake that flowed only feet away from me. I then stood up in shock and stared at the familiar area.

"Never thought you'd be back here, did you?" I heard a voice that I had burned into my memory just in case, who knew I'd need it so soon. I turned on my heel and was faced the same women from before, the one with strange eyes and hair.

The one who brought me back to life when I was almost dead.

"Am I dying?" I asked the first question that appeared in my mind when seeing this place again, she smiled and shook her head. "No-" She began walking towards me, "You're wounds are concerning but they are clean and not fatal, to you at least" she mumbled the last part and walked around me.

She then stopped and stared at the sunset, I then rushed to her side, desperate to know why I was back here if I wasn't dying. "Then why am I here again?" I asked standing next to her. She smiled again and spoke, not moving her eyes from the horizon.

"You're here because you need to be" I was even more confused, she laughed a little at my expression, "Why do I need to be here?" she laughed once more and finally turned towards me, "You are full of questions aren't you North" She smiled and placed a hand on your shoulder.

"You're here to get your strength back and I'm here to help you understand" I stared at her in confusion once more, "Understand what?" she laughed once more and turned and began to walk, "Your purpose in this life" she called behind her.

Once she was at least ten feet away from me, she stopped and called behind her, "Come on North, the longer you wait, the longer you will be here, with me" I could only imagine the smirk on her face as I began to run after her.

Once I caught up with her she began to talk again but this time in a sad tone, "What happened to you was horrible, but-" she began but I cut her off, "How do you know?" I asked, her strange glowing eyes shined with amusement, "The goddess knows everything about her children" She spoke with pride.

She must mean the Moon Goddess. She then continued, "But, you cannot let it destroy you-" Her voice seemed stressed, almost like she was begging me. "This world is full of monsters like Demetri, he isn't the first and certainly won't be the last-" she stopped and grabbed my shoulder.

"Do not feel guilt over killing those who seek to harm you, do not feel like a murderer when you were protecting yourself and those that you love" She spoke in a demanding tone, "Your life is your own North-" she began placing now both her my shoulders.

Things began to clear up inside my head, my mind was no longer lost in the fog, I wasn't my fault, I did what I had to do and I should not feel guilty. Those people wanted to hurt me and my family, so I defended myself. I almost killed Miah, but I didn't know. Don't' feel guilty.

I repeated that whole paragraph in my head at least a thousand times.

"Do not let this slow you down, when life fights, you fight back and you win" I nodded and stood in awe at her words. "I cannot guide you through this North, or tell you what to do-" She began with a sad tone. She then grabbed my hand and guided me over to the lake with the magic water.

"I can't say much, but you must know" she began while kneeling and taking a hand full of water in her right palm. "You are what is known as a Tribrid, a werewolf, witch, and demon, there has never been anyone like you before, I'm sorry you had to be confused and lost for so long" She spoke with tears in her eyes.

"They have no right to control you and what you feel, only you have that power" She explained, "This world is cruel and evil, but it's also kind and good" a small smile appeared on her face. "Your life is not over yet child, it's just beginning"

"Now you must go back, go back and save your family North the Tribrid" it was safe to say I was in a state of shock so all I could do was nod at her. She smiled and raised her hand to my mouth, "Wait!" I spoke covering her hand.

"What's your name" I want to remember the women who helped me come to my senses, She smiled and shoved the water in my mouth.

"Nadia, my name is Nadia"
