To see is not enough
Our mind seeks to touch
To feel the thunder
And smell the wonder
That's embedded in our minds
Age worthless without time
Gone at the ping of a wind chime
Sleep is worth no dime
To explore the riches of the mind

North's P.O.V
I woke with a gasp as my body shot forward, I was breathing heavily and my face was covered in sweat, I took a deep breath and tried to calm my damaged body down. I then sat there in silence, absorbing the new information in my head. After what felt like years of waiting, I finally know what I am.
I'm not a Lycan or a Demon, nor a witch, I'm all three stuffed in one body, even for this world this seems almost impossible. "But it's not..." I heard a familiar voice in my head and I sighed, "Is it true Jack?" I asked just to be sure, "Yes..." he confirmed. Everything stayed still for a few moments, then I broke the tense silence.
"W-Why didn't you tell me?" I asked feeling sick that he kept something this important from me, "You needed to find out on your own, that's how this works...." he began with a tired voice which made me frown, "I couldn't have told you even if I wanted to, a vow of silence is absolute..." that made my brain hurt even more.
"Did Rhys know?" I asked quickly, "No, only I knew..." he said with sadness in his voice, "W-What did you mean when you said 'vow of silence'?" I asked curiously. Jack sighed and after a moment spoke, "The answer to your question is a story, but only if you're willing to listen..." he explained carefully.
"I-I'm willing" I spoke hesitantly, I could only picture his smile,
"Good, It all started eighteen years ago, there was a very powerful witch coven that lived in the forest in northern Alaska, they were said to be nothing but peaceful to others and offered aid to travelers, even to this day the lasting members still are kind to strangers." His voice faded a little at the end but I paid no mind to it and continued to listen to this story.
"But on the night of October 26, 2001, the coven's leader's daughter had a child, a boy they named Xavier, the women, and her husband were so happy, hell, the whole coven was happy with the new addition to their large family." this story sounds very familiar, when did I hear this?
"The boy was born a normal witch like his parents and coven members of course. But that night, while the new parent's slept along with the rest of the coven, a stranger entered their territory, but his visit wouldn't be peaceful, somehow he managed to get his hands on an elixir, that made his presence and sent unknown to the elders and trackers of the land that kept guard at night" No, it can't be...
"They say that he meant no harm at first, this his visit was just general curiosity or he was a simple thief, looking for something to take for himself, but all anyone knows is that his intentions were not pure" But Nymeria didn't.....She didn't say that...
"He was about to leave around midnight, but was apparently stopped when he heard a loud cry coming from one of the homes, so being the curious wolf he is, he followed the sound" I felt a sick feeling in my stomach, why did I see this before!? it was so simple, the lines all added up but I didn't put it together!
"He found little Xavier rolling around in his crib, crying, he then got an idea in his twisted head, he took the baby out to the woods, so he wouldn't wake anyone, and that's where he enacted his plan..." I cut him off, "And bit him" a few tears ran down my face as I was frozen in shock, I felt my stomach turning at this.
"T-The baby was me?" I asked barely above a whisper, "Demetri bit me and t-turned me?" I asked already knowing the answer. Jack's silence just added to my shock, I was taken away from my family the people who loved me just because Demetri's a sick and twisted man.
"M-My, mom? My dad?" I asked hoping to get my point across in a few words, "T-Their dead North..." I loud sob left my throat and I hunched over and began to cry my eyes out. "Y-Your father was killed in the attack and your m-mother refused to live without her husband and her s-son..." Oh god, I let out another sob.
After calming down enough to clear my voice and get words straight, "What were their names?" even if I was told I guess I forgot, "Nadia and Damian Knight..." he spoke in a sad tone I was afraid he'd start bawling too.
'Nadia' that name rang in my head, then my memory darted back to the other world when that woman told me her name and tried to help me, had I met my mother and not known it? that made me even cry harder, I shouldn't have been so mean to her when she was just trying to help me.
"In order to save you when you were bitten, the coven had to perform an ancient ritual, it binds your soul with a lost one, therefor making not only your physical form stronger but your mental state as well..." he continued to talk over my wails of sadness, but he knew I was listening still.
"I was that lost soul North, I don't remember my past life other than my name and what I was before, a demon.." he paused and sighed, "That's why I look just like you, our souls are bounded, therefore we are technically the same, body, soul, and mind..." my wails had died down to gentle sobs as I took in the information.
"In order to prevent you from coming back to the supernatural world and face all this pain, the elders tried their best to subside your supernatural abilities to make you seem like a normal human boy, however, something triggered us..." he paused and once again sighed, "I don't know who or what did it, but it woke me up along with Rhys, and because you're a tribrid you don't follow the laws of a werewolf, Lycan, Demon, or witch..."
"You are something this world has never seen before, you are three of the greatest supernatural entities all in one, you are more powerful than any other being known to man, wolf, vampire, demon, and witch..." he spoke with pride.
"When my soul was combined with yours the elders forced me to take a vow of silence which is a sacred thing in this world if, by some chance your supernatural abilities were triggered which they were, I was forbidden to share any information I knew about you..."
"I'm sorry North, I'm so, so sorry.." he spoke with a crack at the end, I nodded understanding why now. I understand everything now, I know who I am, where I came from, and why I am this way now, no more confusion, it's all clear now.
I then whipped my tears and stood from the bed, I looked at myself in the mirror and sighed, running all the information I just received over in my head once again.
I took a deep breath and stood tall,
This is who I am
And I'll be damned if I let anyone take that away from me again.
