"We are flawed creatures, all of us. Some of us think that means we should fix our flaws. But get rid of my flaws and there would be no one left."

North's P.O.V

I've been here for days, I think, I'm not really sure. They've been bringing me food and all but I don't respond nor meet their eyes. I know of two people who walk in here, Ajax and Anika, they both come in twice a day each and attempt to speak to me, but I don't really give a response. I know Ajax to be Miah's mate which makes me even more disgusted with them.

How could he go against his mate? It confuses me greatly, but I'm trying not to think about it, I need to be focused on getting out of here. They tend to mention someone, they call him 'Master' and speak very highly of him.

But I've never seen him, but they keep telling me he'll see me soon, but now I think they're just messing with my head. After all, that Anika girl is a witch, but something about her sent is off to me. They finally unchained me from that metal bed, but only to transport me to another cell.

It was pitch black here, and my arms and ankles were chained up, but not tight enough that I'm chained to the wall. The chains are silver and covered in wolves span, making my pain double, but I can manage it, but for how long? I don't know anymore.

So here I am huddled in the corner of the cell holding my legs to my chest, I was tired, but I refused to sleep. Who knows what they'd do to me if I fell asleep, I don't even want to think about it anymore. Suddenly the door to the cell opened, and familiar footsteps entered the room, disrupting my quiet time.

But I gave no real reaction, not because I didn't want to, just to piss them off. But this visit was something new, this time both Ajax and Anika entered the room with relaxed looks on their faces. Anika then sighed and walked over to me and leaned down, "Congrats Kid, today's the day".

She then yanked my arm up and took a set of keys out and began to unlock my cuffs, "So am I finally meeting the warden now? Or are you still messing with me?" I asked in my normal sarcastic tone. Ajax laughed while I could have sworn I saw a hint of a smile appear on her stone-cold face.

I soon discovered after meeting both Anika and Ajax that Anika was definitely the more silent and deadly out of the two. Her eyes are always dark and void of any emotion what so ever, which makes me question who she really is. Her name sounds familiar but that's it, her voice and face are all new to me.

Soon silence once again entered the room and I was soon dragged out of my cell by the dynamic duo. I was completely charged up with wolves span and silver so they knew I wouldn't cause any trouble even if I wanted to. But I wouldn't, not yet anyway, I want to see the guy in charge of this whole thing.

I want to see his face so I can remember to kill him later. I was dragged down a dark hallway with the only light being lanterns every five feet, we rounded a corner and walked towards a red and black door sitting lonely at the end of this maze. The duo immediately stopped and Ajax let go of my left arm and walked up to the door.

He gently knocked, as if he was afraid to wake a monster, but maybe that was exactly why. Suddenly the door opened with a large creek, like in a horror movie, but ten times worse. And I walked into a throne room, like at the Vladimir mansion but more vacant and dark, it looks as if no one had stepped foot in here in decades.

My heart raced as I felt the room go cold and the silence was dominating, I could feel the fear coming off both Ajax and Anika. That made me wonder, just what made their leader so scary, why was everyone afraid of him. I then began to question myself, should I be afraid? Perhaps that would be the smart choice.

But I've never been one to make smart choices. At the end of the long room, sat a man who looked like a king.

His face was dark and aged, but his eyes drew me in the most. They were a bright almost glowing green and silver, I felt bare as his eyes cut into me, like he was tearing me apart bit by bit. But I was not afraid, I cannot afford to be afraid anymore. I must stay strong and find a way to get out of here.

Suddenly he pulled out something from his pocket and held it gently in his hands, I couldn't see what he was holding but it was small. Then suddenly he began to twist one side, and a soft melody came out that sent chills down my spine.

I..knew this song, it rang in my head and I felt something I've never felt before. "Sound familiar?" the stranger in the chair began to speak, then the music came to a sudden stop. The old man they got up from his chair and slowly walked towards me in careful strides.

"It should, your mother played it for you as a baby" now that caused a major shock wave to clash in my head, he knew my mother. "H-how?" I began, "You knew my mother!?!" I spoke panicked, but my mother was human, how could he know her unless he met her on human terms.

He then suddenly laughed, making both Anika and Ajax back up in fear and keep their heads down, he only glared at the two, then turned his attention back to me.

"Yes, briefly but yes"

"But not your human mother, I've met your real mother, your birth mother Xavier"
