To see is not enough
Our mind seeks to touch
To feel the thunder
And smell the wonder
That's embedded in our minds
Age worthless without time
Gone at the ping of a wind chime
Sleep is worth no dime
To explore the riches of the mind

North's P.O.V
The shock was evident on Miah's face as I spoke my shame, the guilt was eating me alive but I guess I felt slightly better after telling them the truth of what happened back at that horrible mansion.
The room went completely silent, the only sound that was heard was my harsh breathing, "Calm down North..." Jack demanded with a harsh tone, but I continued to breathe hard and shake, "You're going to hyperventilate..." he warned with a softer tone. I then attempted to calm down and slow my racing heart.
I looked up and saw all the shocked faces around the silent room, but none of them held hate or disgust as I had imagined. Connor then stepped forward and spoke in a soft voice that stunned me, he was never really nice to me.
"How do you know Ajax North?" he began with a confused face, "And what do you mean you almost killed him?" He asked it seemed everyone else in the room was wondering the same thing since those two sentences made their heads dart to mine with interest.
I swallowed hard and took a deep breath, "Relax, everything will be fine.." Jack attempted to comfort me and I helped a little. I then looked back down and began to recall all my memories of the black Lycan Ajax.
"H-He was t-there" that was the best way I could describe it at the time. At this point, I assume Miah recovered from her shock because within a second she was right in front of me with angry and confused eyes, I thought she wasn't mad?
"Did you see him?" she demanded with a harsh tone that scared me, but I reluctantly responded with a nod and leaned back a little. "Did he speak to you?" She spoke moving closer, once again I slowly nodded, remembering all the words that her mate had said to me over the time I was at that place.
"What did he say?" She asked with urgency and anger when I did respond right away, more anger flared up in her dark eyes, "Tell me!" she screamed making me flinch and whine. She reminded me of when Demetri would scream at me and those weren't great memories.
Drogo then grabbed Miah by her upper arm and yanked her back with an angry glint in his eyes, "Stop that!" he growled in which she returned the favor, "What?" She sneered back and tried to yank her arm out of his hold, "Can't you see you're scaring him!?" he yelled making me whimper once more.
"He's fine!" she yelled back, then they began to scream at each other, making me feel unsafe and threatened, I then brought my legs up and tucked them to my chest and wrapped my arms around my knees and buried my face into my elbow and tried to block out the sound and think about something else.
"STOP SCREAMING!!!" an unlikely voice joined the conversation, the young wolf called Wyatt stepped forward with an angry expression, "You're both scaring him!" he growled then he sighed and placed his hands on his hips, "He's already be traumatized and tormented enough-" he began with a growl at the end.
"He doesn't need you two or anyone to add onto that" The room was silent but I smiled slightly, I was proud of the wolf who I once thought was a coward. Miah's angry eyes then cleared and she looked over at me worried, "North I'm-" she began but stopped when she saw my pained expression.
She sighed and stepped back with her head down in shame, Drogo just stared at me with sadness, no one has seen me this weak before, this fragile and disturbed, but I couldn't help it. My mind was clouded with pain and sadness and I was too tired to try and fix it.
Another voice then spoke up, "Let's get him cleaned up, he might feel better after that" Nymeria suggested. Another thought then came to mind and I growled at myself for not thinking about it before now, "Constance" I spoke out without stuttering or pain.
Klaus sighed and stepped forward, "She's asleep North" he explained which made me whine, I wanted to see her. "She'll be awake when you get cleaned up alright?" he added on with a smile, I nodded and let my legs drop to the floor and stood up with caution.
Nymeria then grabbed my hand and gently guided me out of the room. The packhouse was just as I remembered it, it brought me slight comfort and I relaxed a little. "Just breathe, everything's fine.." Jack spoke in a kind tone. I nodded slightly and did as told and kept my breathing calm along with my heartbeat.
I was taken upstairs and into a familiar hallway I looked around and smiled slightly, it felt good to be back home. I was then guided to a guest room, Nymeria reached forward and gently opened the door and we both walked inside, the room was similar to my own but the walls were red instead of dark blue.
Nymeria then walked be towards the bathroom door, "Go get cleaned up alright?" She spoke with a small smile, I nodded, "Take as long as you need and call if you need help" she spoke as I stepped inside the bathroom.
I closed the door behind me and looked around the room till my eyes met a stranger, blood covered his face and hair, his golden eyes were dark and void of any life, he looked sad and tired, he looked like death.
I then walked forward and reached out towards him and felt my blood-soaked hand touch the glass leaving two bloody fingerprints. This tormented and sad stranger was me, I then began to scan my appearance.

Horror was written all over my face, I didn't recognize the person in front of me and I was sure he didn't recognize me either. I then leaned forward, not taking my eyes off my reflection and turned on the sink and let my red hands flow under the cold water,
