North's P.O.V 

It's been pretty quiet since I woke up, nothing has been really going on which was surprising, everything seemed at peace. But I couldn't help feel that this moment was temporary, that it was the calm before the storm. But maybe I was just paranoid after everything that's happened over the last few weeks. 

Both Rhys and Jack have been pretty calm as well, just hanging around and not really doing much, but I have neglected to tell the others about them but I will eventually, maybe. 

Miah's been in contact with the council and is still trying to get Connor out of the Alpha position, and let's just say he wasn't too happy when he found out. Connor went back to his old self and went all 'Alpha Mode' on Miah. They ended up fighting in wolf form which lasted for about an hour. 

And during that entire time, everyone was begging me to step in and stop the fighting, but I simply responded, "Hell no, I'm not getting in that", I really don't want to be killed by two angry wolves on a killing spree. 

But I gotta say, watching them try and rip each other apart was pretty entertaining. Connor's wolf was bigger due to him being born an Alpha, but Miah's was quicker and had more skill due to her training as a head warrior, so there really wasn't a way to tell who would win or not, they both fought with strength. 

Constance was standing right next to me as we watched the two fight, I kept my word when I said I wouldn't let her out of my sight, she's been at my side ever since I woke up. She leaned her head on my shoulder and sighed, "They're acting like children" she spoke in annoyance. I chuckled and nodded. 

"It's Connor and Miah, what do expect?" she laughed, "Yeah, you're right", Wyatt then walked up to us and stood on my other side, "Hey North, want to bet on who will win?" he asked with a smirk, I smiled a little, "Sure, loser has to-" I thought for a second then smiled, "Has to nurse Connor back to health after the fight". 

His smile fell but quickly recovered and he placed his hands on his hips with confidence, "Alright, deal" he held out his hand, I reached over and shook it. "Cool, I'm going with Miah" I spoke quickly, then Conny spoke up, "I second that" I smiled and wrapped an arm around my mate. 

"Fine, I bet on Connor" he sighed and we continued to watch the fight unfold. Then just as I predicted, Miah came out victorious. Towards the end of the fight, Connor had Miah pinned to the ground, but she nipped his neck and twisted his leg, he was out after that. 

Wyatt moaned and sighed in frustration, I patted his back, "It's alright Wyatt, good luck with Connor" he glared and stomped off to help Connor get up. Miah went inside the packhouse and shifted and put clothes on. Then she walked out with a smug and cocky look on her face, she walked over to us and smiled. 

"Nicely done" I commented which she smiled at, "Thank you" she then looked over and saw the other wolves helping Connor up and to the infirmary. Miah was littered in cuts and bruises but she didn't seem to care. "Another reason you need to be Alpha," Conny said looking over at Miah. 

She nodded, "I know, I just need to get the council to listen to me, but it shouldn't be long now" I nodded to her. Then Klaus walked over and chuckled when he saw Miah, "Come on, let's get those cuts patched, don't want them getting infected" Miah shook her head, "I'm alright, we'll do it later". 

Klaus sighed but nodded, it's no use in fighting with Miah, she's way too stubborn. Then suddenly Dax ran over and nodded to Miah, "Great fight boss" she chuckled and thanked him. Then he said in a more serious voice, "All the preparations are ready for tonight, everything is good to go" she nodded, "Thank you Dax" he nodded and walked off. 

I turned to Miah slightly confused but she only smiled, "What preparations? what's happening tonight?" I asked, she once again smiled, "Tonights the full moon, and we need to make sure everything's ready for new shifters to take on their wolf form, plus we have a little surprise after the shifting". 

I raised my eyebrows and looked at her strange, Constance then squeezed my arm and smiled, "Don't worry about it" she smiled sweetly, "You're in on this too?" I asked looking at my mate in shock, she laughed and nodded, "And I'm telling you anything" she pulled away and began walking towards the packhouse. 

"Yeah, we'll see about that," I said folding my arms over my chest as I watched her walk away, she laughed a little but kept walking. "Did I ever mention how much I like that girl?" Miah said with a smile. I rolled my eyes and sighed, "Several times actually" both her and Klaus laughed out. 

"Well I'm headed inside, good luck with baby Connor Klaus," I said walking inside, "Don't remind me" I chuckled and followed my mate over to the kitchen, she sat at the counter and was reading a book. I smiled and walked over and sat down next to her and laid my head down on the counter. 

"Can't you just give me a hint?" she smiled but shook her head, "Nope" I frowned making her laugh, "Just wait, learn to be patient North?" she said flipping the page. I sighed and said, "You know that word doesn't exist in my vocabulary" she giggled again and set her book down and looking over at me. 

"It'll be fine North, it's not like it's anything bad" she reasoned, I nodded, "I know" she smiled at my bored tone. "Just wait, I know you'll love it" I nodded and hugged her, she smiled and hugged back. 

Later that night, everyone was gathered in the front room, after dinner Miah wanted to speak with everyone, I assume it had something to do with the 'thing' no one will tell me about which I consider very rude. 

"Hello everyone, it's another full moon!" everyone cheered in excitement, Constance explained that after the new wolves shift that they go and run with the Alpha, or Miah since Connor's playing dead in the infirmary, and some of the warriors, I decided I'd stay here with Constance and join next full moon. 

"And we all the rules, so new shifters, head outside and we'll join you in a second" all the teenagers beside me and Conny left the room and headed outside. Miah walked over and sat in front of us, "So, you're staying here?" I nodded and she smiled looking between me and Conny, "Alright, we'll be back soon" I nodded. 

Soon it was just me, Conny and Klaus who staying to assist Connor is he needed, Conny had fallen asleep on the sofa while I stared out the window at the clouds that covered the moon, "She's a special one isn't she?" he asked, I turned and saw Klaus looking at Conny, I smiled and nodded. 

"Very special" he chuckled then his pager binged, telling him Connor needed help, he sighed and left the room. I then watched as the clouds passed over the moon and then I felt a sudden pain in my head along with a growl. 

"Guys?" I called out into my head, "NORTH GIVE ME CONTROL NOW!!!!" Rhys demanded, "NO GIVE IT TO ME...." Jack screamed, I winced in pain as both of them demanded control, they've never acted this way before now. 

"What's gotten into you guys!!?" I demanded as the pain only got worse, "GIVE UP CONTROL!!" Rhys demanded again. But his screaming mixed with Jack's made it hard to focus, I then covered my ears thinking it would somehow help but I can't shut off something inside my head. 

"Please stop!!" I screamed and begged them, this hurt so much,

 they were both forcing control, this is worse than the wedding. 

Then suddenly the pain was gone and the lights went out.
