"Thunderstorms welcome me with equal chaos, that matches my own, I glance up at the sky in wonder. The ignited blast of energy leaping from cloud to cloud drew me in with its sudden presents,
Yes I am alone
But not completely"

Nymeria's P.O.V
I was getting closer, I felt it, I have to get to him soon, I'm not sure if I can break him out today, but I hope that I can at least speak to him and assure him that he will be alright and free soon. The closer I got, the more hesitant I was, no doubt the monster has guards everywhere, it will be difficult to get past them.
The monster that took North is not one to mess with, at least too much, he's a soulless man with no heart that will do anything to get what he wants. The longer North stays with him, the more danger the poor kids in.
Suddenly in the distance, I heard yells and screams, a loud howl than rang through the forest, the birds shot into the sky at the sudden noise. I stopped in my place and remained frozen, I admit, I was afraid to make any noise, who knows what's out there.
I then moved behind a tree and waited, it was dead silent till I heard the sound of footsteps, it was a large animal on all fours but I can only pick out so much from just hearing, I was afraid to look around the tree that kept me hidden and risk being caught by whoever was wandering around here.
I then heard the loud crack that was identical to the sound of bones breaking, the sound continued for a moment longer till it was silent once again. This stranger was a shifter, but I couldn't exactly tell what kind yet, he must have gone back to his human form.
After the overwhelming smell of beast wore off, it was replaced with the scent of blood, it covered this stranger. I then took a chance and peeked around the tree I hid behind and I think I felt my heart stop.
Standing there, covered in blood and wounds, stood North who looked ready to pass out. Why I didn't recognize his wolf's howl I don't know. He looked to be lost in thought, then he turned to me and his eyes widened and he shared the same shock as me.
"Nymeria?"
His voice was dry and weak, I nodded to him and walked forward, almost by muscle memory, he growled and backed away. He was afraid, not of me but of people, in general, he didn't like that I was coming near him. I then reached a hand out to him, showing I meant no harm, never through I'd have to approach the once lively North with this much caution.
"It's ok North" I spoke in a gentle tone and placed a hand on his blood-soaked arm and shirt, he flinched but I didn't let go, "I'm not gonna hurt you" I placed a hand on his cheek and made him look at me, his golden eyes were dim and nearly lifeless, his face held pain, both mental and physical.
He was much skinnier than the last time I saw him, and not to mention pale and scared. He then stared at me with deep concentration, as if he was making sure it was me he was looking at. I nodded, "It's me kid, It's Nymeria" I assured him, "I'm right here" I then pulled him into a hug and rubbed his back, I didn't care if I would end up covered in blood, he needed comfort.
He whimpered when I touch his neck and yanked himself away and stared at me in fear, that's when I saw on his neck were several bite marks, they were fresh and were still bleeding. Tears were running down the poor boy's cheeks as he saw my reaction, he then gently reached back and touched the spot, he then pulled his hand back, it was covered in blood.
I knew the chances of those bites getting infected were high, but I also knew that he'd only push me away if I tried to heal them, let alone touch them. He wasn't in his right mind, he was injured, traumatized, and afraid, I'd have to reach him with extreme caution.
He whimpered again, I then grabbed his hand and forced his eyes to look at mine, "It's ok, no one can hurt you now" I pleaded with him and gently grabbed his other hand. "I'm gonna take you home now, ok?" he needs to see Klaus and be with his mate more than anything right now.
His head shot up at my words, "H-Home?" he questioned, I nodded and smiled warmly, "Yeah, you can see Constance again and Miah" he smiled weakly and mumbled, "Conny" I smiled widely and laughed a little.
I nodded, "Yeah" I then placed a hand on his shoulder and then began to walk, I then heard him whimper again and I turned and saw he was looking at his leg. His right leg was raw and soaked in blood, I sighed and then walked over and threw his arm over my shoulder and began to walk him through the forest.
I then glanced at his foot again and saw it was burned and that he had knife marks on his wrists and palms.
Oh, North, what did you do?
