Huda rushed into the emergency room reciting Durood Shareef silently.

"What's the matter?"

She looked at the patient- who was a little girl covered in hives wheezing and crying.

"Her temperature is 101.0, and her blood pressure is 85/62," The nurse announced, as Huda checked the girl's eyes.

"Alright get an albuterol nebulizer and a dose of IM Benadryl, and start the IV," She said, putting on her gloves to analyze the girl's skin condition.

"And, Nurse Han get me the equipment for an allergy test!" She added, checking the hives as they looked to be an allergic reaction.

As soon as the nurse started the IV the girl seemingly calmed down. And Nurse Han came back with the allergy test equipment. Huda put the drops onto the back of the girl's arm to check what had triggered the reaction.

"I'll be back in 10 minutes to see what her allergies are, until then if she is still itchy give her antihistamine," She said to the nurse. She wondered why they called her specifically, but when she looked at the girl's records she was her registered doctor. She left the ER and walked back to the conference room, secretly hoping the conference was over and no one was there anymore, and her wish had come true.

As the room was now empty except for Zahra who was about to leave and this guy in the front who was reading out of a folder.

"Zahra!" She called out.

"Hey! what happened down there?" Zahra asked

"Oh it was a little girl with an allergic reaction, but it's all taken care of. It wasn't bad." She said, beginning to walk out.

"Oh Yeah! Oh My god Huda, the new attending!"

"What about him?"

"He's so handsome. Besides, I think he's desi maybe a fellow Pakistani? His name leaks of desi-ness." She said. Huda chuckled eyeing Zahra.

"Zahra, you're engaged. How about I call Omar Bhai and tell him his oh so dear wife finds our new attending handsome," I said and fished my phone out of my coat. Zahra glared at me.

"You wouldn't dare."

"Oh? I would," Huda nodded.

Zahra began pacing towards her, as she walked backward and entered her office laughing.

"We aren't even engaged, sirf Rishta pakha hoa hai." She said in Urdu. [Only the marriage has been confirmed]

"Uh-huh, well if I have learned anything about Omar Bhai it's that he gets jealous easily," Huda added.

"Hud-"

"SO that means if I call him right now-."

"Okay, what if I buy you lunch."

"Hmm let me thin-"

"Sushi."

"Okay deal." Huda laughed.

"I hate you, are you gonna pull this at me all the time," Zahra said

"No baby, just when I'm craving something then perhaps," Huda replied.

"And also Huda, I was suggesting Dr. Khan's handsomeness in your favor."

Dr. Khan, Huda repeated in her mind.

"Oh please, Zahra." Huda rolled her eyes.

"Trust me, he seems like a friendly guy. Earlier at the meeting when you left he talked to us and his words were so, you know...wonderful."
