"What happened?"

"How'd it go?"

"Were we right?"

"What'd he say?"

"Your eyes are wet, did you cry? Why?"

"Hold on!" I shouted, stopping Zahra and Jacob from bombarding me with their questions.

"I'll tell you, let me take a seat," I said grinning.

"Oh, It's going to be good. Look at her smile." Zahra said.

I pulled out my phone and opened voice memos. I watched their faces as they listened to the voice recording hearing them gasp and roll their eyes.

"I knew it," Jacob scoffed

"How did Dr. Khan react?" Zahra asked.

"Well, she tried to convince him that I was rude to her at the restaurant and that I was lying to him. But thankfully I showed him the audio." I said

"And..." They both urged.

I told them everything Dr. Khan had said to me word by word as I reddened.

"AWWWW!" Zahra shrieked.

"IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING." Jacob groaned.

I laughed as I stared at the two of them cheering.

"Good job everyone," I said to my team before leaving the operation theatre and discarding my robe, mask, and gloves.

The last surgery of my day was finally done, as I headed back to office to gather my things. It was a great day, and my smile never seemed to leave. I could get used to this type of mood. I put on my coat and got my things- heading to the elevator. When I arrived down, I saw Zahra standing by the huge winter tree.

"Huda!"

"What?" I asked

"I have a really good idea, I'm shaking of excitement just thinking of it," She said, smiling as if she slept with a hanger in her mouth.

"And you thought of it in the theatre? Is your patient okay?," I eyed her teasingly.

"Shut up, listen to me."

"What if you and I got married together." She said.

My mouth hung open as I looked at her.

"Listen to me! It's a really good idea. The ballroom is big enough, it'll be a simple wedding with our close family and friends. Plus it's separated." She said,

"What about Omar and Dr. Khan they don't know each other," I said.

She smiled at me tilting her head.

"I knew you would say that." She smiled.

"I think they will get along quite well. Let me show you." She smiled grabbing my arm as she walked me outside.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

We went outside and I saw Omar Bhai's car parked at the front of the hospital, but next to him was Dr. Khan- looking remarkably fine in his white dress shirt. I snapped out of it as they both did the weird handshake-hug men do.

"What? Didn't they just meet?" I questioned Zahra.

"Yes, their men- they don't care." She shook it off.

"Uh-huh, and how'd you get them to talk to each other?" I inquired.

"Yes, actually. I asked Omar to pick me up and park in my parking space- which is next to Dr. Khan's. And then Allah just made them talk." She mumbled the last part.
