One Year Later.

"Mama" Haniah whined.

"Haniah, you're a baby! Please, sweetheart, wear your diaper so we can go." I tried to convince her to sit down on the bed.

"NO!" She began crying.

"I'm no baby." She began crying harder.

I smacked my forehead. What have I done?

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry, But honey don't you want to see Zahra Khala's baby. You're his BIG sister, right? He's waiting for you." I said.

She stopped sobbing to look at me as she sniffed. Then she laid down with a frown on her face, showing me she was still upset with me.

"I'm sorry, angel." I smiled at her.

She finally put on her clothes quietly, but the scowl didn't leave her face.

The door opened and Humza came in fixing his watch, as he looked at Haniah scowling.

"What happened?" He bent down to her.

I turned around to put on my makeup, as he spoke to her. Until she began crying again- this time fake, to get her way nonetheless. She always did these little antics when it came to eating, sharing, her clothes, going outside, and whatnot, you name it and she wants it- her way.

Humza picked her up as she put her head on Humza's shoulder.

"Mama said I'm baby!" She complained.

Humza gasped, looking at me as I rolled my eyes at him.

"Mama's mean isn't she?" Humza said.

"Yeah!" Haniah said.

"Haniah!" I gasped in disbelief.

"You like Baba more right?" He asked.

"Yeah," Haniah muttered.

"Oh really?" I turned around- challenging Humza.

"Haniah do you want lipstick?" I asked.

She quickly faced me, all signs of sadness vanishing as she stared at the silver tube in my hand.

"Yes, Mama, Please!"

"Who do you like more?" I asked.

"Mama! Mama!" She said pushing herself to me, out of his arms.

"That's bribery!" Humza said.

"Sure, whatever," I said.

"Only a little okay?" I put a little nude lipstick on Haniah's lips- which she pouted up at me.

"Baba look!" She hollered, showing Humza her lips.

"You look soo pretty!" He said.

"Why don't you go show grandma?" He added.

"No, that's going to get me in trouble," I whispered, but she had already run out.

I sighed and put on my lipstick facing the mirror as Humza stared at me through it.

"Stop staring, you're weird," I said.

He tilted his head and widened his eyes, to creep me out as I yelped.

"Don't do that face it's so creepy!"

He laughed at my reaction, as I got up to turn to him.

I grabbed his collars as he wrapped his arms around my waist, and I smiled at how good he looked- without making that face.

"You look great," I whispered, near his lips.

"You look okay, 5 out of 10." He joked.

"Oh, that's how it is!" I raised my eyebrows.
