"Why don't you take off your jewelry, it looks very bothersome." He said taking his hand off my face.

I let out a deep sigh and began to undo my necklace.

"It is," I said, pulling off all my jewelry.

"Did you pray Isha?" He asked.

"Yes, did you?"

"Yes, why don't we pray two raqat together." He said.

I smiled at him, and put my jewelry on the nightstand.

"I would love that."

I walked into the restroom to take off my makeup and perform wudu.

After I finished, I took my dupatta to wrap it around my head completely and grabbed a tinted lip balm from my purse to put on.

I went out and looked at the prayer mat he laid out horizontally for both of us.

"Don't have two, Haniah doesn't pray yet." He chuckled.

I laughed at him.

I walked up to him and began to pray, trying to fade everything out and offer the best two raqat for the best blessings my lord had offered me.

I turned my head to the left- finishing the prayer, when we both simultaneously brought up our hands in dua.

"Ya Allah, bless our marriage with ease, unity, and love. Allow us to be good parents to Haniah, and let us conjoin our souls following the wonderful and righteous ways of Islam." I prayed.

I turned to my right to see Dr. Khan staring at me. I furrowed my brows at him smiling in confusion.

"What?" I said getting up.

I turned to the dressed and unwrapped my scarf, allowing my straightened hair to fall on my shoulders.

Dr. Khan walked behind me as he pulled me in a back hug, putting aside the hair that covered my neck he brought his luscious lips to the skin of my neck. I inhaled a sharp breath at the unusual feeling.

"Dr. Khan," I whispered.

He chuckled as he turned me around by my waist.

"Yes Dr. Siddiqui, any reports to turn in to me?" He teased.

I pursed my lips at him.

"I got used to it, I feel weird saying your first name," I said

He touched my cheek with the tips of his fingers.

"Try," He said.

I sucked in a breath.

"Humza," I whispered, my ears turning red.

"That was way too loud, you don't want the neighbors to hear." He said.

"Stop," I whined.

"What? It's just my name. I'm not making you call me bab-"

I put my hand over his mouth in embarrassment.
