   Hiya my little hobbits. How was that chapter back there? Deep into the feels. Yes, I know. Here's the next one and the first chapter of The Two Towers!
   Quote of the day; "Mom! It's just my BOW!" Who said it and what movie is it from? Now enjoy the chapter!!

WARNING- this is unedited. Bare with me. I wanted to get this chapter out to you guys so it might be a little lame. 😬 Again, Sorry.

I now officially hate running. Never thought I could ever hate something so simple, but somehow, someway, these three males have drilled the disgust for the physical excessive into my head. Rune trots along side me, a stupid dragon smirk on her face.

"Yeah, how about I ride you? Then lets see who has the smirk." I roll my eyes at her and she widens her eyes, moving away from me slightly.

"Exactement." (Exactly) I smirk at her and she growls a little. I contnue sprinting, despite my fatigue I keep pace with Aragorn and Legolas easily. Gimli the poor dwarf is huffing behind us, obviously not used to such activity.

We come upon another hill and I groan.

"One break? NO. Never. We just keep running through this damn country side. Eru help us." Legolas hears me and just sends a small smirk my way. I stick my tongue out at him childlishly and he raises and eyebrow. I huff and stubbornly avert my eyes, keeping them instead on the horizon.

Neither I nor Legolas have talked anything about the status of our relationship, or what it means when we send each other lingering glances or touches. I can tell it's killing our companions. Aragorn sends us looks when he thinks the other cannot see, or when he KNOWS the other can see. Gimli openly complains, sending both myself and the elf into terrible fits of blushing and floundering for words.

The fact of the matter is- we really need to talk about it, but we don't. But besides that, all we've been doing is running the past few days. I recognize the rolling hills and golden grass from where we stood and smiled slightly.

"Rohan. Home of the horse lords." I whisper under my breath, panting. Rune comes up next to me and snorts, shaking her head. Her eyes brighten when she sees the golden grasses and she perks up. I laugh breathlessly at her.

"Soon, Rune. Just more....." They start sprinting down the hill again.

".....Running." I growl, displeased. We climb up another rocky area and Aragorn lays his head down on the rock. We pant, waiting.

"Their pace has quickened. They must have caught our scent. Hurry!" He yells out. Rune and I groan in sync and continue running after him. I see Legolas come up behind us and here his yell back;

"Come on Gimli!" I giggle when he catches up to us and smile at the elf.

"Trouble with the dwarf again? He isn't made for long distance running you know." Legolas's mouth lifts up as he meets my eyes then we both turn away, continuing the pace.

"Three days and nights pursuit. No food. No rest. And no sign of our quarry, but what bare rock can tell." The dwarf laments from behind us. I drop bac slightly.

"Come on Gimli. Could be so much worse. Once, I had to run through Utumno. Ever been there? Horrible place. Filled with twisted elves, Balrogs, trolls, wraiths, phantoms which were nasty things, demons like the one on the mountain. All sorts of things. Three levels of course, because Melkor was JUST that extra, one fire, one ice, and one obsidian." I explain in between breaths to them as we run. Rune shudders with a snarl.

"Yes. Glad we settled THAT dispute a while ago. Now we only need to meet them one every hundred years or so, trade them stuff and them us. Obsidian is actually very helpful." I go on and Aragorn looks at me.
