Chapter 9- Pookie

Its been months since I asked Jewel but that didn't affect me no more, knowing that I found a new friend to accompany me in new situations, thats Isabel.

Let me tell you something about her, shes very nice, sometimes weird, awesome, beautiful and most of all shes impossible to find. Shes been my new best friend ever since Jewel and I, didn't talk too much anymore.

"Hows Jewel, Mike?" She asked.

"I dont really know, I haven't talk to her ever since."

"What really happened to both of you?"

"Its hard to explain."

"Please?"

"Fine, I asked her to be my girlfriend a week before her birthday."

"And then, what happened?"

"She said no, and to make it worse I asked if there would be any chance for her to be my girlfriend and that affected me big time."

"Oh. But why did you end your friendship together?"

"I really dont know, she isnt talking to me, so i dont talk to her too."

"Why don't you talk to her? Come on."

"Ill see if I can." I answered.

The next day I decided to actually talk to her. I approached her with all my guts.

"Umm, hi, Jewel" I stated, awkwardly.

"Oh hi Mike, its been a while since we haven't talked. How have you been?" She replied.

"Im fine, ever since, I mean yeah Ive been "great", I guess"

"Thats nice to hear, Mike. So wanna be close again? Give me a call?" As she handed me her phone for me to save my number.

I typed my number and saved it in her phone, as I left.

"Was this a new start?" I said to myself.

That feeling came back again and I tried to fight it.

A few hours later I told Isabel what happened when I talked to her.

"Soo? What happened? Tell me everything!! Details!! " She shouted.

"I said hi, and umm, she asked for my number and I asked for hers too, since I didnt save hers from last time." I replied.

"Ohhh, then does that mean you're friends again?" She asked.

"Yeah I think so? Im not sure. We'll see. What do you think?"

"I think thats great!!"

After what she said, her phone started ringing as she answered it

"Hello? Yeah yeah Ill be there. Sure. Bye." She said.

"Umm was that..let me guess, Pete?"

"Yup, now I have to goo, see ya later!"

Yup, I was correct. So since I'm all alone, I decided to go back home and spend the rest of the day there, and do, nothing.
