Chapter 27- Broken Memories

--Sorry for the late update guys, I was sorta busy with school and stuff but here you go :)--

Jewels P.O.V

"Mike! You're joking aren't you? Its me, your one and only princess, the girl of your dreams, your-, your crush when we were young!" I started to shout and sob.

"I, I cant remember a thing, I don't even know who I am, or where I am, and you suppose to think that I know you? Im sorry, but I don't remember a thing." He replied.

"Mike.." As I fell in the floor crying with buckets of tears."

"Why are you crying? How important is this Mike, or rather, me, to you?" He asked.

"Let me tell you everything." I answered.

"Ill listen."

Jewels Tells Mike The Story.

"It was Feb of 2012. 3 days before our elementary graduation when you decided to talk to me, I saw you clearing your throat as you walked towards me and said,

"Hey!"

I replied with a grin. "Sup?"

"Um. You okay?" I startled after you had a long pause staring at me.

"Oh, sorry" You replied with a smile.

"Well I got to go now, it was nice meeting you though!" As I waved a goodbye.

"I knew after that day that you had feelings for me, I wanted to turn back and spend a bit amount of time with you but I saw you pee in your pants, so I decided not to and act like I didn't see anything.

"Ill tell you more about our past as we go through you remembering again, no spoilers." I said.

"I, I peed in my pants?!" He joked and shouted.

I knew on that moment he didn't get the point of me telling him he liked me since that day but instead, cared more on the time he peed on his pants.

"Excuse me Ms. Jewel but Im afraid your friend has Amne-" The doctor walked in and wanted to say it but I decided to interrupt.

"Amnesia, I know, but how come? You already removed the bulge from his head, why did this happen to him?" I asked.

"Let me explain ma'am, that bulge was some kind of tumor, we had to remove it from his head to make him live, but we were not 100% sure he could still remember, and we decided to find a way but we couldn't, but seems like you already know." The doctor answered.

"But, will he ever remember?" I asked.

"Depends, unless its some kind of TV show that in the end he remembers everything but no, this is real life, not some kind of acting or show, its only up to you to make him remember his past, you are the key to remember all his Broken Memories."

"So, when can he come out?"

"Maybe 3 days from now, I better leave, good luck , I hope you could make him remember everything."

As the doctor left, I saw Mike staring at me, as if, he was trying to remember me, his eyes wide open, looking at my face with curiosity,

"You do look familiar." He noticed.

"You're starting to remember Mike!" I shouted with joy.

"No, is this you in the newspaper?" He asked.

I took the newspaper and looked at it and it was really me, the picture was me carrying him into the ambulance when he had an accident and was published later on.

"Oh, yeah its me.." I answered in a sad voice.

"Whats wrong? Do you miss the Mike that used to care for you?"

"Yes." I answered back.

To my surprise he hugged me with full force and whispered,

"Despite me not remembering anything, I bet I loved you so much that I wouldn't let you go."

I was surprised of what he said, knowing that, the old Mike would actually say that.

"Mike, yes, you're right, the old you loved me like there was no tomorrow." I answered.

"When do I come out of this rusty old place? I wanna remember everything we had together."

"You, you would do that?" I asked.

"Of course, anything for my "girlfriend"." He replied.

After that, 3 days later and we finally got out of the hospital, I took Mike to where he first met me, school, We drove going to school and went inside, I told him that he first met me here, in this exact classroom.

"This is where you first met me Mike, this was the day where I-" As I was explaining to him, all of our classmates ran up to him and asked if he was ok.

I quickly blocked out the way and told everyone he had amnesia, and cant remember anything and they all understood and told their Get Well Soon's and slowly walked away.

I then led him to the exact place where he first talked to me before our graduation and he did sorta find it familiar and I was happy about it.

"This place, looks familiar, this is where I first talked to you?" He asked.

"Yes, and the day that you peed in your pants."

He jumped in surprise knowing he stood on the place where he peed in his pants and answered,

"This is where I peed? Thats awesome! I wonder if my DNA is still here."

Thats when I knew, this is going to be hard for me to let him remember everything, unless he does it seriously and not joke around, but I can't blame him, it was my fault after all that this happened to him, I was the reason of his Broken Memories.

"Mike, I love you." I surprised him.

"What? Uhmmm,, I love you.., too." He uttered.

"Come on, lets move on to the next places you might remember."

"Wait, let me remember, Im sorta remembering something."

I waited for him knowing he was joking but he wasnt,

"I remember! That was also the time when,...you..met..Austin.." He slowly remembered but started to lower his voice.

"You remember! But keep this in mind, even if you remember that part of your memory, I will always love you, despite the past we had and the problems too."

"That great, now I remember part of my memory, this was a good start! Lets carry on!" He shouted with happiness.

"Ok fine my prince, lets carry on." I answered back.
