Chapter 26- Who Are You?

After a month of headaches and times I forget stuff, I never forgot about Jewel and I's anniversary, I saved my money that I earned for weeks, just to throw a huge surprise for my princess, a night, when something happens, a night, that something you can never imagine happens.

I told every single one of my classmates to help me surprise Jewel, balloons, cakes, a romantic scenery, of course, I used my money to pay them and help me.

"Kris, don't forget about the candles ok? And the balloons too." I reminded.

"Sure, but is this enough to buy them? I mean like, how cheap do you think are the ones you wanna buy?" He asked.

I snorted and handed him a bit of extra just incase.

"Here you go, I bet thats enough to buy twice the amount you could with the amount of money I gave you earlier." I concluded.

"All right everyone, its almost 6:00 PM, I really appreciate you guys helping me with all of these, and I thank you all for supporting me, I hope this will blow her heart right off her chest." I announced.

"No problem Mike!" They shouted and started to leave.

"Finally, half an hour more till she arrives, I bet she doesn't know whats coming, I bet she will be surprised as before." I told myself.

Half an hour later I saw Jewel approaching inside the schools entrance as I was waiting for her in the playground, I ran up to her to cover her eyes when suddenly I blacked out again,

"Wait, what? What am I doing here? How-, How did I get here?"

Jewel saw me and walked up to me in the gate,

"Mike? Uhmm, what do you have in plan for both of us?" She asked.

"M-,Mike? Who are you?"

"What? You're playing with me again, stop it, todays a special day you know, Im hoping for something spectacular tonight, flowers, cakes, and much more." Jewel answered.

"Why, whats up with today? Isn't it just a regular day?" I asked.

"You don't remember?! You texted me to come here at 6 in the night just to tell me all of that?! Wha-, what am I even suppose to do here? Stand and hear you forget today is our anniversary?" Jewel shouted.

After Jewel shouted my senses came back and remembered everything, but Jewel ran across the highway and I tried to chase her and explain everything,

"Jewel! Wait let me explain!"

As I was running in the middle of the highway, I blacked out again, I didn't know what I was doing, I stood still in the highway as Jewel watched me, I saw a light coming across my eyes and turned around to look at it and what I heard was so,

*BEEPBEEP*

"MIIIIIIKE!"

I, I felt like I couldn't move, all I saw was blurred vision, lights flashing in my point of view, and I heard shouts that couldn't be understood, I saw light in the distance, pure white light with glowing rays of the sun, I wanted to go walk up to it when,

"Mike! Mike! Are you okay, your head, its bleeding, hurry lets take you the hospital." Jewel shouted.

"Je-, Jewel wait.., Im sorry, I couldn't tell you whats wrong with me, but if I don't make it, never forget, I love you." As my eyes slowly went shut.

"Mike, you cant, you cant leave yet..., Mike!"

*Pulse sounds*

"How is he doc?" Jewel asked.

"Seems like he's still not awake, lets just wait for a few days or two till he wakes up, so we cam surely tell if whats wrong with him, for now, we stopped the bleeding in his head and fixed his broken arm and leg." The doctor explained.

"But will he be ok?"

"Only time will tell, Im sorry."

(NOW LETS ENTER JEWELS P.O.V TILL MIKE WAKES UP)

JEWELS P.O.V

"Im really sorry Mike, its because of me you're in the hospital now, I wish I just didn't run away, but why, what was it you wanted to tell me before you slept?" I asked.

"Mike, wake up, Im sorry, I love you Mike, please wake up Mike, I cant stand to live without you, with all those tubes in you."

"Jewel.." ???

"Mike?!"

"Jewel, we've gotten the results on what was happening to Mike before he got an accident yesterday, it seems like he's brain tissue was deformed about a month ago due to a hard hit in the head, and because of him not knowing, it made the tissue larger which caused him to forget sometimes, did he sometimes, or even always forget about things?" The doctor explained and asked.

"Yes, ever since his best friend left last month, I heard him telling me he got bumped in the head by the hood of the car which gave him a bad headache, and that was the day he started to forget things. Why? Whats the problem?" Jewel answered.

"We have to go into surgery and remove or lessen the tissue which causes him to forget, and because of the accident yesterday, it made it even worse, because of that, by tomorrow before or after Mike wakes up, we need to get him into surgery before something bad could happen." The doctor explained.

"What? I can't let you do that, we need to hear Mikes decision! I wont let you do it." I shouted.

"Im sorry, if we wont do it by tomorrow, it can leave Mike disabled for ever, or even worse, die." The doctor answered.

"But."

"Im sorry, but that is the only solution to save his life, do you agree now to let him go into surgery." The doctor asked.

"As long as you save him." I answered.

The next day, it was already scheduled for Mike to go into surgery, I whispered him,

"I love you Mike, even if you do or don't make it, I will always love you."

"Up to here only Ms. Jewel, you can wait in his room for now, we'll notify you if the surgery was a success." The doctor announced.

The doctor started the surgery, he cut open Mikes head and started to remove the tissue, and successfully he did but then suddenly,

*Lost Heart Pulse*

"Nurse, were losing him, go grab the shock, we might lose him. Quick!" The doctor shouted.

I decided to pass by the Surgery Room when I noticed the nurses started running around inside shocking Mikes chest, I saw that Mikes Pulse Rate was completely flat,

"Mike! Don't go! Im still here for you!" I shouted.

The doctor was surprised that Mikes Pulse Rate was back to normal after hearing me shouting, then they started to stitch up Mikes head.

"The surgery was successful, we almost lost him but thanks to you, he might have heard your shout and made him come back to life." The doctor stated.

"Will he be fine?" I asked.

"Of course, about half an hour later he might wake up already, but were never sure about that, but chances are he might." The doctor explained.

Later that evening, after that intense surgery, Mike started to wake up,

"M, Mike!" I shouted.

He opened his eyes and replied,
