Side Story 1- How Isabel Entered My Life

I admit, I used to have a crush on Isabel when I was a bit younger, a year before I met Jewel, we too were close friends, but that changed when everyone knew about my interest on Isabel.

It was a week after back to school when I had an interest on Isabel, I got close to her sometime soon too, we were great friends, we hung out a lot and played kiddie games because we were still grade 3, we were partners in crime, then I suddenly had interests on her, every time she smiles, I feel like I was melting, whenever I see her eyes I fall closer to her.

"Mike, wanna play Lego? I brought a huge box outside, we can make something we want, a dog, a cat, or even both. What do you say? Wanna join me?" Isabel asked.

"Sure thing, Lego has been my favorite toy ever since, Ive made a lot of things out of those too, I don't make common builds, I make huge builds, from houses to hotels, and others more that can catch a persons eye." I answered.

"Can you pass me the red block? Im making something special."

"Sure thing, here you go." As I handed the block.

"Here Mike, I made a car for you, I hope you keep like it."

"I don't like it Isabel.."

"What, why?"

"I love it!"

"Haha thanks, you can keep it, I made this just for you okay?"

"Okay, thanks Isabel."

That moment I started to like her much more than I ever had, I kept the car inside my bag as a gift from her.

Months have passed and our classmates started to know about my interest on Isabel, I didn't want her to know, but sadly it did.

It turned our friendship from partners in crime, to strangers, she didn't talk to me anymore, but I tried everything I could to get back together, I tried to give her back the car she gave me.

As I was about to give it back I was disturbed by a friend, Kris, I left the car under the table and talked to each other.

"You play League?" Kris asked.

"Not that much though, but if you show me how, I might be as good as you."

"Next time, Ill show you the true power of a pro." As he left.

I came back to retrieve the car but surprisingly, the car was gone, I felt guilty, I felt sad knowing her special gift has been stolen.

Years have passed and Jewel has entered my life, and on that day when we I asked her to be my girlfriend and got hurt, Isabel knew about it and approached me.

"Hey Mike, heres your Lego car I made you." As she handed it to me.

"Where did you find it?! Im sorry for losing it Isabel, I thou-"

"No, I took it, I wanted to give this to you ever since but it wasn't the right time, but this time, this was the best time, Im sorry about the problem we had together."

"Im sorry too." As I took the car.

"Friends?" I asked.

"Best Friends." She answered.
