Chapter 34-Another Mistake

"Shit no!" I shouted as I accidentally deleted the photo, causing Jewel to open her eyes in shock.

"What is it Mike? Something wrong?" Jewel asked in confusion.

"Ahh, nothing Jewel, I just didn't beat my highest score in this game, I was so close, thats why I shouted." I misinterpreted.

"Oh okay, by the way its getting a bit late now Mike, should we head back home?" Jewel asked as I still cant forget the fact that I deleted the picture.

"Yeah, we better should." I replied as I picked up my phone again.

I checked my phone as we started to walk away, and to my surprise, the man took 2 identical pictures, and that's when I realized, it wasn't the end of the world, there is still 1 more picture.

Jewel noticed my smile and asked.

"Why are you smiling Mike, did you beat your high score?" Jewel asked.

"No, its even better." I replied back.

"Then tell me."

I quickly showed Jewel the photograph,

"Isn't it amazing?!" I shouted.

"Who took this Mike?! It's beautiful, we should print this!" Jewel exclaimed.

"Yeah I know, I asked a random man to take the picture, turns out the man was a photographer, that why he took the best shot." I explained.

Jewel quickly changed her mind, instead of going back home, she decided to go to the nearest computer shop to print the picture, she dragged me all the way to the computer shop she goes to.

"Hi sir, could you print this picture in this phone?" Jewel asked the owner.

"Sure, how many would you like?"

"Maybe, 4, yeah 4, thats ok with you right Mike?"

"Of course, it doesn't matter how many we print, what matters is that we printed it." I answered.

As Jewel tried to hand the owner the phone, she mis clicked the phone and deleted the picture.

"Nooo!" As I woke up holding the phone beside Jewel in the park.

"It was just a dream, seems like I fell asleep after the man took the photo." I said to myself as checked the phone,

"Yes, the picture is still here, good thing it was just a dream." I sighed.

"Whats going on Mike?" Jewel asked as she finally woke up.

"Hmm."

I didn't want to show Jewel the photo yet, so I kept it for now.

"Oh its nothing, Im just excited for Vince's party."

"Yeah you're right, I too, am a bit excited, should we head back home?" Jewel asked.

"Sure."

We head back home and parted our ways.

A few days later..

"Ugggh, what time is it?" As I slowly opened my eyes and checked the time.

"Its already noon, should I be somewhere later?" I asked myself.

"Ahh, right Vince's New Year Party is later, better tell Jewel." As I texted her.

After texting her, I got dressed and bought some snacks for later, I went out the house and went to the mall.

Jewel later replied to fetch her around 4 in the afternoon,

"I still got 3-4 hours more, nothing to worry about." I told myself.

As I entered the mall, the cool air inside brushed through my hair and face, it was relaxing that it got me all doozy.

I went inside the supermarket to get some snacks,

"Lays, Pringles, Nutella, hmm what else?" As I started gathering the snacks.

"Oh right, don't forget the Oreos, its Jewel favorite." I told myself.

After shopping, I didn't know what to do next, it was still too early to fetch Jewel, so instead, I went inside the Computer Cafe to play some League.

"Sir, one sit for me please?" I asked the owner.

"Okay kid, over there, its open."

I sat down and entered my new information, as I cant really remember my old account, but I was confused as how I still knew how to play.

"Finally, some fun time for me." I told myself.

Games after games I had played and I had already lost count of what time it was already.

"Shit, its already 5 and Im late, I should hurry up and go fetch Jewel." As I handed the owner a whole bill without asking for the change.

I quickly checked my phone,

"15 missed calls!? How could I haven't heard the phone ringing!?" As I hitched a ride in a taxi.

I stepped down the car and ran to the park where she told me to meet her, she was gone and I suddenly received a text.

From:Jewel

"Where are you!? Im already at Vince's place, Ive been waiting at the park the whole hour, and you didn't show up, so I took a ride and went here." 5:24pm

"Oh crap."
