Chapter 31-Merry Christmas Mike!

-Hey guys, so yeah, I know I told you I might post the new chapter on January, well, you should be lucky I got inspired, if not, well, you could've waited a week more for this, so enjoy. :)

Mikes P.O.V

As both of us looked at each other with complete awkwardness after I asked her who Isabel was, she replied.

"Let me explain Mike, before Isabel left, I promised her that both of us wont talk to each other about her anymore, she told me not to say her name or remind you about her whenever were together, Im sorry."

Astonished as I was, I understood the situation, I wrapped my arms around her, with full force, like I was never letting go, and I whispered.

"Thank you." In a fading voice.

"Mhmm, sorry to interrupt but I got to go now, Mike, Jewel, see ya later." As Pete interrupted the moment.

I let go and looked at her straight in the eyes, staring, and slowly smiling.

"Well, lets go." I unexpectedly announced.

"Oh, okay Mike, off we go then." She replied.

Hours of shopping and roaming around the mall made us both forget about what just happened earlier, but it was okay for me, besides, we got to spend some time together.

"Look, this Teddy Bear looks so cuuute, I really like this, Mike?" As she quickly glanced at me with her googling eyes while we passed by the Toy Shop.

"Oh uhmm, lets take a look shall we?" As we walked towards it.

"P1,500?!- er, I mean, great, this looks super cheap." I sarcastically shouted.

"Really?! Are you going to get me this?!" She yelled.

"Er, uhmm, of course, I will.." As I took my wallet to see what Ive got.

"Damn, Im pretty low on my budget today, but don't worry, Ill save up to give this to her by Christmas,." I said to myself.

As I told her that I may or may not buy the Teddy Bear she just smiled, knowing, I cant afford it yet, but she didn't mind, she just wanted to point out what she wanted for Christmas Eve.

Minutes have passed as both of us agreed to go home, it was 8 in the evening and we were all alone walking by the street, when suddenly..

*Insert Firework sounds*

"Woooooooooooooooow." We both said in amazement.

"Were in a perfect place in the perfect time for this view." She said.

To our surprise as we were walking while watching the fireworks, a thief just sneaked by and took Jewels phone.

"Oh my God Mike, a thief, please, catch him, I need the phone, pleasee." Jewel begged, I ran as fast as I can to catch the thief.

All the parkour, jumps, side steps got me straight to him and caught him, he was surprised as how quickly I caught up to him, he didn't have any weapons or firearms as well, so he returned the phone and said sorry.

I came back to Jewel and gave her her phone,

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She shouted.

"No problem, but out of my curiosity, what was inside your phone that got you all worried like that?" I asked.

"Duh, I paid good money for the phone, I didn't want anyone to enjoy the pleasure of a stolen phone that was completely paid with good money, and-"

"Shh, lets go home." As I interrupted.

We both went back home and part ways.

A week later finally came and tonight at exactly 12 midnight is going to be Christmas, I saved all my money to buy that Teddy Bear she really wanted, I washed it, took care of it, as it if was my Crowned Jewel.( Get it? )

*BeepBeep*

From: Jewel

"Hey Mike, come by my house at Christmas Eve, I prepared dinner for us and I have a surprise for you." 9:32

To: Jewel

"Sure why not, I know you're a good cook, all that cooking lessons, I bet you could even be a master chef, and a surprise? I cant wait." 9:35

The day passed by so quick it was already 11PM, an hour more and its going to be Christmas.

My parents and I had finished eating the food my mom prepared for us, but I didn't eat that much, I wanted to be a bit hungry before I go to Jewels place.

"Mom, Ill be leaving in a few minutes, Im going to Jewels, don't wait up for me okay?" I told my mom.

"Ok, but be careful son, hope you wont end up like those kids who have-"

"Bye!" I interrupted.

I stood outside Jewels house with the Teddy Bear she wanted, I knocked at the door and waited.

"Mike, you're here, Merry Christmas!" As Jewel opened the gate and greeted me with a kiss and a Merry Christmas.

"Merry Christmas too." as I handed her the huge Teddy Bear.

Tears rolled up on her eyes as she quickly hugged me,

"I cant wait to show you my present, I bet you'll like it." She said with tears running down her face.

"Like? You mean Ill love it." I replied.

"Oh hi, you must be Mike, my daughters boyfriend, nice to meet you, oh and Merry Christmas." Her mom surprisingly appeared out of no where.

"Oh hi, yes I am, sorry to be bothering you at this time, oh and Merry Christmas as well." I replied back.

"No worries, well, Ill leave you both for now." She stated.

"Oh and Mike, shes a rough one." Her mom whispered at me as she walked away.

I stood in awkwardness but I didn't really mind, but cant keep it out of my head.

"Mike, behind the couch, come on, we'll both open it together." As she pointed her gift.

We both opened it and I was super surprised.

"Its..amazing.." As my voice slowly faded away.
