Chapter 10- Conversations

Ever since i arrived home.. I just sat. Literally sat. Don't blame me! Im all alone here too, since my parents are out for work. I didn't really wanna do anything, so i decided to text Isabel.

To: Isabel :)

"Hey, whats up?" 1:32

I waited.. And waited. And waited. Its been 20 minutes, and she still hasn't replied yet, i guess shes busy. Hmmm who now? And it popped into my head that i now have the number of Jewel and she told me to talk to her some time soon. So i decided to.

To: Jewel

"Hey." 1:53

I wondered if she's ever gonna reply, maybe she will, but worse is maybe she wont! Ugh this feeling. I threw my phone on the bed when suddenly...

*beep* *beep*

From: Jewel

"Oh, hey Mike! :)" 1:55

Aha! She actually replied!

To: Jewel

"Hey whatcha doing? Its been a while since I talked to my "best friend"." 1:56

From: Jewel

"Yea its been a while, why haven't you talked to me these past months Ive missed your funny jokes and pickup lines." 1:58

To: Jewel

"Yea I miss it too especially the times we had been together." 2:00

From: Jewel

"How bout we hang out tomorrow? Besides its a Saturday anyway." 2:01

To: Jewel

"Okay, Ill try if I can, Ill just text you." 2:04

After that conversation it hit me..

"No no no no, why am I having this feeling again?! I thought I ended my love for Jewel, I need to find something to do to distract me.

*beep* *beep*

From: Isabel

"Sorry I had a late reply Mike, I had to finish my homework, say, didn't you tell me you got Jewels number earlier? Did you text her? What did she say?" 2:11

To: Isabel

"I said hey, she missed my pickup lines and funny jokes too. Oh and were hanging out tomorrow." 2:13

From: Isabel

"OOOOMMMMGGGG I cant believe it, do you know what does this mean? She likes you! Cant you get it? She "misses" your pickup lines and jokes!" 2:15

To: Isabel

"What the heck Pookie?! I dont like her anymore besides Ill "never" like her ever again." 2:16

From: Isabel

"Awww sorry Mike, I just got excited for the both of you, say what Ill leave you alone for a while while you think about your "date" tomorrow haha." 2:18

To: Isabel

"Really? -.- " 2:18

The following day I texted Jewel that I can hang out with her and I was a bit nervous because this is the first time we ever hang out ever since that day.

"Mike, over here!" Jewel shouted.

"Oh, uhhh hey Jewel.."

"Why are you shy? Thats not the way you greet me whenever we hang out you know?"

"I just feel kinda sick Jewel."

"Oh? Here let me hug you."

As Jewel slowly hugged me that feeling came back again, the memories we had, it slowly crawled back to my head.

"Jewel stop."

"What is it Mike?"

"Nothing really, I just don't feel comfortable."

"Really? I thought you loved my warm hugs?"

"Yeah I do, but this feels different."

"What are you talking about?"

"I haven't felt this way ever since I asked you to be my girlfriend okay?!"

"Oh, I-Im sorry Mike, I didn't know.." As Jewel started to cry.

"Sorry for shouting, don't cry its my fault,punch me or slap me if you want."

Jewel quickly hugged me.

"Im not crying because you shouted, Im crying because you remember. I thought you forgot about me ever since that day."
