(Y/n)'s POV

I stared at Dan from across his desk, bouncing my leg madly out of his views. I chewed at the inside of my cheek, knowing I would have to tell him sooner or later.

"Hey Dan What do you think of Molly?" I asked and he glanced up.

"She's very cute."

"Mmhmm, yes babies are cute," I said.

"Yes they are."

That was the end of the conversation. I glanced at the desk between us and grimaced. We were well above financially stable and I felt ready. How bad could it be?

"You know Dan I asked the doctor about the hot flash I had and he figured out what it was," I said.

"Oh? Why didn't you tell me earlier? What is it?"

"Uh, well, it's pretty big."

"What is it?" I took a breath.

"I'm uh..." he stared at me intently and I cleared my throat. "I'm pregnant." I braced myself, watching him carefully. His eyes widened at the announcement and I chuckled nervously. "You don't have to say anything yet."

He seemed to visibly relax, standing up to close the gap between us. He sat against the desk in front of me and I just stared at his pants pocket at my eye level.

"You're pregnant."

"Yes."

"You're serious?"

"Yes."

"You are carrying my child."

"Yes."

"My child." He breathed and rugged me up from the seat, wrapping his arms around me. I shivered slightly before placing my head against his chest. He stroked my hair lightly with one hand, the other holding me close. "My child."

"So it's okay?"

"Okay?" He asked, pressing me back to look at him. "It's more than okay! It's amazing!"

"We got married just 2 weeks ago," I said.

"So?! You're carrying a person inside you. Our person!" He said. I stared at me, a smile crawling on my face. I felt my eyes begin to water and he looked at me. "Wh—what's wrong? Did I say something?"

"I just love you so much," I sniffled and his concerned melted away. He pulled me back into a hug and I laid myself against him, taking a breath.

"I love you too."

"I thought you might now want one and seeing you like this really makes me happy," I murmured and he pressed his lips to the top of my head.

"It's nice. I remember holding my baby brother before he passed. I've always liked kids," he said. "And I like you. So it's perfect. How far along?"

"2 weeks," I said, my face flushed.

"Wow right after the wedding huh?" He said, smirking.

"Yup." He winked at me.

"Wait can we tell Phil?" He asked and I nodded, grasping his hand. Dan took me downstairs where Phil was sat in the kitchen.

"Phil, we have new—"

"Guess what my amazing wife did!" Dan interrupted.

"What?"

"She started growing a baby. My baby. In there," he said, pointing to my stomach. I pressed my lips into a thin smile.

"What?!" Phil exclaimed, jumping up. "That's so great! Soon but great!"

"Thanks."

"Now we have to tell everyone else!" Dan said and I eyed him with a soft smile.

"Yeah."

Sophie was ecstatic Molly would have a friend and PJ congratulated us thoroughly. Chris made mention of our successful 'collaboration' to which I hit him in response. Dan was the most ecstatic of them all, wearing a huge smile on his face today and the next, despite all the complaining and throwing up I was doing in the early stages.
