The Unoticed Truth (Edited)

Chapter twenty

Third pov:
It's now Saturday, their last day and last night for Hoseok and Taehyung, together in the cabin. But for some reason neither of them wanted the trip to end. Yet the alpha grew more worried for the omega because whenever Hoseok was left alone for even a second, he would zone out and look ill. Hoseok took his suppressants because he felt like his next heat was maybe starting earlier. Thinking his body wasn't used to being near an alpha so much.

The two went hiking in the woods for their last day, the snow was falling slowly from the sky. They were left in a comfortable silence. "So how did you sleep last night Hobi?" Taehyung asked, breaking the silence, that was begging to get awkward. Shuffling his feet in the snow, kicking it to make a little snow cloud. Hoseok hummed, unsure on how to answer, shrugging his shoulders, "I slept... ok, I guess, what about you?" The alpha noticed how off the blond omega has been for the past few days, which is one of the reasons why he was worried about him. Taehyung sighed, "I slept alright... I'm worried about you... you have been off lately, and it's worrying me a bit..." the alpha mumbled, groaning from his dark brown hair getting ruffled from the elder.
"Don't worry about me TaeTae, it's probably just my heat starting earlier than usual, so I'll be fine, ok?" He gives the alpha his heart shaped smile, making Taehyung feel slightly better, slightly.
The alpha feels his phone vibrate in the back pocket of his jeans. He pulls it out, reading the lit screen, seeing the familiar unknown number. They then came to a haut, Taehyung opened his messages and red the little bubble.

'Don't trust that omega...'

The dark haired alphas jaw clenched, anger boiled in him, he didn't know what what to think in that moment. Were they being watched? And could he really trust Hoseok? Is this all just a big joke? A low growl emitted from the back of his throat.
Hoseok felt his own phone vibrate in the pocket of his parka, but ignored its constant bickering. His friend ment more than a stupid notification that he could check any time of the day. He placed his hand on the alphas shoulder, seeing and feeling how tense the alpha was, trying to ignore the bitter scent the alpha was releasing. Hoseok immediately wrapped his slim arms around the alphas waist, trying to break the younger from his thoughts. The omegas vanilla scent calmed soon him down, melting away all his worries and built up tension, he slid his phone back into is back pocket and wrapped his arms around the omega, embracing the omega in return.
"You ok now Tae?" Hoseok's voice was heard little muffled, sense his face was against the alphas broad chest.  And received a hum as a short reply, the alpha dug his nose deep into Hoseok's neck, getting more of the calming, warm vanilla scent.
"Mmm... much better, thank you... your scent is so good Hobi-hyung..." Taehyung mumbled out.
Hoseok's whole face and ears, turned bright, beet red from the alphas complement, he's heard that complement countless times, but it has never effected him like this before. 
"Oh uh.... Th-thank you..... I mainly don't like seeing you upset, especially on your own Birthday.... I-I couldn't let it happen."
Taehyung chuckles at the omegas sweet thought, ignoring the text that he recently got moments ago. They stayed in the warm embrace, but soon pulled apart. Yet, remained close, chest to chest, getting lost into each other's eyes. The younger's eyes jump to Hoseok's plump lips, but got lost in the deep brown orbs once again. He cupped the omegas flushed cheek in his hand, his thumb brushed against the omegas bottom lip. They both lean in, the gap was about to close this time. Until an arrow shot between them and startled them, making them separate completely, and Hoseok screaming in the process. Watching how the arrow ended up stuck in a thick, pine tree. The dark haired alpha growled in irritation, his eyes turned a bright red and he bared his sharp, K-nine fangs. Jumping in front of the omega, his wolf instinct acting fast, wanting to protect the elder from any form of danger. Hoseok yelped from the alphas sudden actions and grasped the alphas large, cold hand in his, "Hey Taehyung, lets head home now, ok?" He whispered, in a wavy, scared voice.
The alpha held a stern look, his eyes dancing in different directions, he only nod and made sure to keep the omega close to him. Not letting go of the smaller hand, nor letting the elder out of his sight.
They make it back to the cabin safely, both going to their rooms to change into their pajamas. But it happened again, Taehyung called the omegas name, after not seeing him for over an hour. He head to Hoseok's room, seeing the door open, and he made his way I got the room, finding him dazed and starring out into nothing, again. The alpha waved his hand in front of the dazed omega, but still didn't bring him back. He then snapped in his face, "Hoseok-hyung... Hoseok!"
The poor omega heard nothing, only continued to stare out at the moon, Taehyung noticed how his eyes were beginning to shimmer a purple hue. The alpha ran to the near by bathroom to get a cup off water, rushing out and splashing the cold liquid on the omegas face, breaking his deep trance. Hoseok gasped and his breathing became staggered when he finally broke out of it. He glanced at alpha and then bolted to the bathroom, throwing up all contents in his stomach. Taehyung followed, refilling the cup he recently use, handing it his friend. Hoseok took the cup with a shaky hand, talking a long drink of the cold liquid and finished it down. Hoseok pushed himself up, setting the empty cup down and began looking for something. Taehyung refilled the cup and followed behind the worried omega, watching him search frantically through this suitcase. "What are you looking for?" He asked calmly, seeing how worried and panicked the omega was. Hoseok could possibly be starting his heat soon, of course he didn't know for sure, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
"My suppressants, I-I had them... I just had them!! I swear I did!! but I-I can't find them anywhere!!"
Taehyung came up the panicking omega, holding out the second cup of water, Hoseok felt his mouth go dry again and took the cup with a shaky hand. He took a slower swig of the clear liquid, saying a soft 'sorry' and 'thank you'. Taehyung gestured his head,"Here, follow me," the dark haired alpha said, leading the omega to his bedroom.
Hoseok trusted the alpha, he knew the alpha wouldn't do anything bad to him. Right? Taehyung's never laid a finger on him, so he's safe? He can trust the alpha?

But those text messages and the weird rumors at work. All telling him not to trust Taehyung, is making him begin to think otherwise about the alpha. 'Should I trust this alpha?' That same question repeats in his head, nearly everyday, as if he had a magic eight ball, telling him to 'ask again later'.
Taehyung tells the omega to sit on the bed and wait for him. The alpha goes into the bathroom of his room, digging in his cabinet drawer, and easily finding what he was looking for. He takes out the small bottle in his hands, checking the date on it and heads back out to the room.
"Here, my sister and her girlfriend come here a lot, so we always make sure to keep suppressants here. Just in case," he smiled softly at the omega, holding out the bottle for him to take. Hoseok slowly takes it with a shaky hand, reading the name on the bottle. Then popped it open and taking two pills down, using the water to help swallow them. The alpha sighed, as he sat next to the omega, rubbing his back for comfort. "T-Thank you Tae," he said in a hushed voice. The younger nod, "Of course, just tell me if you start to feel weird or something and I'll leave you alone in your room... or whatever you're comfortable with, ok?" The omega nod and laughed lightly, making Taehyung happy to see the omegas beautiful smile again.
"Your sister never mentioned to me about having a girlfriend. Who is it? Is it Amber?" Hoseok mumbled with a scratchy voice from what recently happened.
The alpha snickered and nod his head,  sighing,"Amber had a crush on EonJin for as long as I can remember." Hoseok hummed, as he fondly gazed at the alpha, "Do you have any other siblings TaeTae?" He asked curiously. Taehyung nod, saying 'yup', while popping the p. "I have a younger brother, he's also an alpha, last I heard from him though. Is when we spoke to each other on the phone, and he said he was dating an omega named Jung Ji-wo... I believe, I'm bad with names, so I'm not completely sure."
The omegas eyes shot open in shock, gasping, "Wait, that's my sister?! My parents kicked her out of the pack when she presented as an omega. She's the eldest, and I was their only child left, but..." His voice fell softer, dropping his gaze down at the suppressant bottle in his hand, tears peaking out from the corners of his eyes.
"You also presented as an omega..." the alpha finished out in a low town, not used to seeing the omega look this emotionally weak. The blond omega slowly nod his head, as he choked on a sob. Taehyung pulled the elder into a hug, letting the omega cry into his chest. He rubbed Hoseok's back in a circle motion, waiting for the omegas sobs turn into quiet sniffles.
They slowly pulled apart, Hoseok wiped away his tears with the palm of his hands. He sniffled, his eyes readjusting to his surroundings, and gasped. Getting distracted from the room turning blue. The alpha and omega glanced at each other shocked and slowly turned their gaze towards the big windows, on the French doors, behind them. Seeing the blue moon shinning through the the cristal clear glass. They both felt their tattoo marks begin to heat up, what felt like the millionth time for them in this one week alone, but they still didn't light up.

The only way for a tattoo mark to glow though, is that destined couple would haft to kiss and/or make love. But if they do that during a blue moon, they will have no memory of what happens from that night, the moment they awaken the next day. Yet, there have been occurrences of some destined couples remembering. Legend has it, that there are two destined mates, that they receive powers the night they bond together as one.

Hoseok slowly stood up from the bed and walked around, heading over to the glass French doors. His breath taken away from the blue glow the moon extinguished, making the snow appear blue as well, it looked magical.
"It's so beautiful," the omega whispered, not noticing the alpha eyes were fixed on him from beside.
Taehyung smiled at the sight, seeing how beautiful the elder looked with blue glow highlighting the omegas facial features. "Yeah... it is..."

That night, they watched a movie together on the couch, enjoying their last night with one another.
"Oh yeah, Happy Birthday TaeTae," the omega said, while holding out a small, black velvet box, The alphas face scrunched in confusion, but then smiled, taking the small box from the elders grasp and opened it. His smile increased into his box smile. Gazing at the ring in awe, a blue moonstone, with a silver band, and was so close to matching his mother's sapphire necklace. Taehyung took the ring out from the box, sliding it onto his right ring finger. He pulled the omega into a warm embrace, "Thank you Hobi, I love it. A lot." The omega giggled and hugged the alpha back, "I didn't know if there would be a blue moon or not, so I thought I would give it to you." He knew he sounded cheesy, but he could care less. Hearing Taehyungs laugh and pulling Hoseok closer into the hug, if possible. Not realizing they later fell asleep on the couch, Taehyung, laying out on his back and Hoseok, out like a light and sleeping peacefully on the alphas chest.

The trip ended too quickly for them, leaving the next day, apologizing to each other, multiple times, for the little couch incident. But they still remained as good friends, Taehyung went to the New Years Party that night. Yet, the blue moon appeared once again that night. On New Year's Eve? What could possibly go wrong this New Year?
