Chapter seventy

Kais pov:
I woke up, flinching from the bright sunlight. I rubbed my sleepy eyes, and pushed myself up. Looking at my surroundings, "Where am I?" I slid out off of the bed and crawled to the barred window. Staring out the clear glass, noticing that I'm in the middle of the woods, but how? I jumped from a sudden loud bang, hearing the squeaky hinges of a door forced apart. I looked around the room, needing to find a hiding spot, I hissed and hunched over from a Braxton Hick. Breathing through it, jumping when hearing another bang, I then spotted another door next to the bed, I bit my lip to hold back from making any noise. I held my breath, rushing to the door with light feet, slowly opening the door, mentally sighing in relief that it was a closet. I hid inside the pretty vacant closet, covering my mouth when hearing someone enter the room. My back hit the wall of the closet. I then saw the shadow of feet from the crack at the bottom of the door. I instantly tried to shield my bump, not wanting anything to happen to my unborn pup. My heart raced, the closet door opened, a gasp of air escaped from me.
I held my racing heart, "Shit Suho, you scared me! How did you even find me?" He rose a brow, chuckling lightly, stepping aside to let me out, "Kenji didn't think to hide your scent. And you're pregnant, and in possible danger, so your body will naturally release a warning scent. I can smell you from outside, so it was pretty easy to track you down."
I awed, my eyes widen, I swiftly touched my neck, not feeling any tender spot, not even a bump or any trace or signs of me being marked. I glanced at my friend confused and shocked, he pat my head. Making me groan in annoyance, smacking his hand away, hearing him laugh in amusement. "Don't worry, Kenji is dead and it's impossible for you to be marked by anyone, but your destined mate. You are, for starters, a stronger wolf because of your parents, who are both masters in potions. You are also pregnant with your destined mates offspring. Hence, also, makes the offspring also powerful and protect their carrier. You're carrying a Kim blood line Kai, you realize that, right?"
I felt my stomach drop, I'm carrying a Kim, I mean, I knew that. But, saying it and letting everything sink in, It makes everything feel so surreal. Suho then gestured his head to follow him. "Come, I haft to bring you somewhere safer. So I can get rid of a pest." I only nod and followed him out of the small cabin. Passing Kenjis bloody, dead body on the way out. I felt shivers run down my spin, memories of that bastards hands touching my body, I remember my pups constant movement when he was manhandling me. In my opinion, the bastard deserves to die. I shot a glare at the dead body, following Suho out of the small cabin.

We were walking for maybe five hours and it was bloody hot, my body needed to rest for only a moment. I stopped and leaned against a tree. My pup is so active today too, I panted and rubbed my big bump, trying to calm my little one down. I squeaked from getting picked up bridal style. Suho tsked, shaking his head, as he began walking again. "I should've kept a better eye on you, knowing you're pretty much due in almost a month." I huffed, resting my head on his shoulder, as much as I don't like being carried. I know my back and ankles need it more than anything. I crossed my arms, slightly pouting, "My pup won't stop moving, they're driving me mad, I had to stop to pee at least fifty times in the past hour." I smacked his chest when hearing him chuckle, he snickered at my actions. "Sorry, I'll admit that you do look cute when you pout." I huffed and rolled my eyes, trying to think of a way to change the subject. But then remembered the omega he spoke about a lot before he suddenly left. "Does Masumi know your feelings towards him?" I softly asked him, Suho only stared out into the distance, watching the sun slowly set. I huffed, poking my friend in the cheek, "Suho~ you haft to tell him sometime, plus I'm worried about him and his brothers. Josh wants to breed him for money, I don't even know how he found out about my tattoo mark changing, I made sure to to keep it hidden." Suho sighed, I watched him swallow a lump in his throat, then clearing it. "Same way he found out about me falling in love with Masumi and trying to protect and hide him." He then glanced at me and stop walking. What he said made my stomach turn. "He used dark magic..." he gasped out. My stomach then twisted, saliva built up in my mouth, "Put me down... now! Please!" He quickly, yet gently, placed me down on my feet. Anything that was in my system, came up,I leaned against a near by tree. Throwing up everything in my stomach, coughing and spitting up any left over bile. I felt a hand rub my back, as I coughed up the very bitter and fowl taste of vomit. "I think we should should stop here tonight, ok?" I only nod, holding my spinning head.
