Chapter thirty-nine

October thirtieth...

Hoseok's pov:
I knocked on Taehyung's office door, hearing his deep voice yell 'come in'. I slowly turn the knob and opened the door, quietly entering the room and closing the door behind me. I slowly stepped towards his desk, setting the papers down on an empty wooden surface. I fiddled with my fingers, as nerves were building up in me, taking a mental breath before actually
speaking. "Taehyung?"
"Hmm? Yes?" He said, as he looked up at me, giving me his full attention. I bit my bottom lip, feeling more nervous now, but the question I had to ask him was biting me in the tail. Gazing at a painting on the wall, so I could speak to him properly without feeling as nervous.
"Um... Tomorrow is the twins's birthday a-and they only asked if you could take them trick-or-treating... I'm still throwing a party for them, it's this Sunday, and you-you don't haft to show up! I mean, I'm not forcing you too, it's just... we-they miss you and want to spend time with you... s-so it would mean a lot to them i-if you went trick-or-treating with them for their birthday...." I stuttered out, feeling my face heat up even more when hearing him chuckle lightly.  
"You're cute, you know that," my gaze broke away from the painting, watching as he stood up from his desk, waking around it, just so he could stand in front of me. He then lightly grasped my right hand, placing a kiss on it. I then feel my face get a lot, and I mean a lot, warmer.
"I wouldn't miss anything with them Hoseok, I love spending time with them, I will be honored, to spend tomorrow night with them, and at their birthday party Sunday," he said in a soft voice, making a small smile twitched onto my lips.
My heart skipped a beat when I grew lost in his eyes. Why am I still in love with this alpha?

Third pov:
Hoseok was in his apartment, his daughter dressed as a vampire for Halloween and his son begged to be Snow White. And of course the omega always let his kids wear whatever they pleased and never held them back from it. They wanted him to be a Queen, because they always saw him as one. So Hoseok was wearing a long gown, that had a few gems here and there, topped off with a crown. Masumi gasped, "Mama pwitty!!" He giggled and jumped up and down, asking to be picked up. Hoseok smiled, picking up his son and resting him on his hip. Hearing a knock on the door, Hoseok stepped up to it and unlocked it, Taehyung stood there behind the door. Seeing the alpha dressed as a knight, a small blush appearing on the omegas cheeks. He stepped aside, letting the alpha in.
Euijeong gasped, "papa!!" She ran into the alphas arms, the two embraced in tight hug.
"Hi Boni! You look amazing... are you going to help me protect mama and brother?!"
Masumi came up with the nickname 'Boni' for his sister, because he said it sounded like a cute nickname for her.
Boni nod her head, "I is oldor! So I must protec Sumi!!" She shouted, hissing like a vampire. Taehyung chuckled, picking up his daughter and placing her on his hip, glancing at Hoseok, with Masumi on his hip.
"You two ready to go trick or treating?!" The alpha said, hearing the twins shout and squeal in happiness. They headed to the alphas car, Taehyung unlocked the doors, placing his daughter in a navy blue car seat, Hoseok placing his son in a deep purple car seat. Taehyung bought the car seats, so he could take the kids out more.
Taehyung hopped into the drivers seat, watching Hoseok slid into the passengers seat.
"You look beautiful by the way... you're highness," Taehyung commented to the omega, as he started the engine. The omega's face went beet red, "Th-thank you... you don't look to bad yourself," he mumbled out quietly. Yet it was loud enough for the alpha to pick up, a small smile appearing on the young alphas lips, as he began to dive down to a street full of lit and decorated houses.
Halloween decorations, music, and kids running from door to door for candy. Taehyung parked his vehicle into someone's driveway, turning the ignition off, both him and Hoseok exit to go and unbuckle the kids. Hoseok helped his son out, while Taehyung helped his daughter out. The kids bolted, running to the first local house. Hoseok shook his head and sighed, watching them worriedly.
"Kids please stay were I can see you!!! And no running!!" Hoseok shouted, as he kept his eye on them, fearing the worse that could happen.
Taehyung took hold of the omegas hand, "they'll be ok, I made sure to take us to a safe neighborhood," he whispered into the elders ear. Hoseok let out a shaky breath, "How do you know... for sure?" The omega asked, not taking his eyes of the twins, seeing them run door to door. As he and the alpha walk side by side, his hand gripped onto the alphas.
"Because, I live here, I moved out of my dads house a year and a half ago," the alpha stated. Hoseok glanced at the alpha in shock and confused, "So... That house... the house, you parked your car into... wa-was..."
Taehyung nod, "That was my house, not some strangers or friends, I met everyone in the neighborhood, I love it here to be honest. It's quiet getting home from work, there's a lot of kids too, so that's a fun sight to see," the alpha rambled, his eyes slightly sparkled with adoration when watching the twins from afar.
Hoseok felt his chest feel tight, tilting his head in confusion, "Why did you move? If you don't mind me asking."
Taehyung swallowed a lump in his throat, his gaze dropping to the dark road."Gilt and hate towards myself, led me to moving. I couldn't stay in the house, I've tried changing rooms even. But I still felt restless," the alpha replied, his gaze then shot straight ahead. The alpha couldn't really face the omega right now because he knew he would go weak, and cry.
Hoseok didn't push him any further, instead they were led into an uncomfortable silence.

Taehyung's eyes soon glanced down at the omega, he always loved how the moonlight shined on sun kissed skin, those doe eyes always held this sparkle. The alphas eyes traced down to omegas neck, seeing the necklace he gave him for his birthday, nearly over three years ago.
"You kept it?" Taehyung whispered, his face twisted in shock, mixed with confusion. Hoseok looked up at him confused, "Kept what?"
The alpha pointed at the necklace around the omegas neck, "The necklace I gave you... you still have it..."
The omegas face turned red, his hand touching the purple stone around his neck. "O-of course I do... it means a lot to me..." he whispered, his face glancing forward, seeing the twins run up to him. He bent down to their level, his separating from the alphas hand.
"Mama look!!" Hoseok's eyes widened, his heart shaped smile prominent. "Wow that's a lot of candy! Are you two having fun!?" His voice now changed to a lot happier tone.
The twins nod, Masumi then yawned and rubbed his sleepy eye with a balled up fist, doing grabby hands towards his mother.
Hoseok awed, "Come here my tired baby," he said as he picked up his son and rested his pup on his hip. His son stuck his nose in his mother's neck, taking in the vanilla scent and falling asleep. Hoseok took his sons little Halloween bag, that was full of candy, from his sons weakening grasp as his little eyes fell shut.
Taehyung smiled at the sight, taking his daughters hand in his, gesturing his head towards his house.
"Come, you three can spend the night at my house, sense it's late."
They head back to the other direction, Taehyung unlocked his front door, "Boni, you can show your mother where you and your brothers room is and I'll go order us some pizza! How's that sound?!" His daughter nod her head frantically, her box smile showing off her small dimples. Taking her confused mother's hand and leading him upstairs. Going down a hall and opening a door to a bedroom, with a bunk bed, there was a toy chest, the walls were painted a light sage green, and a walk in closet. Hoseok laid his son on the top bunk, from his daughter telling him that's where he slept. She ran into the walk in closet, getting a change of clothes for her and her brother.
"I'll tell you both when the foods here ok," Hoseok said to his daughter, who nod and ran up the steps to the bunk bed, cuddling next to her brother.
Hoseok smiled and pecked a kiss on both of their heads and head back downstairs.
"Taehyung?" The omega called out.
Hoseok had no idea where he was going, so he followed the alphas scent, that led to a bedroom? He knocked on the door, hearing a deep voice yelling come in.
He opened the door, his face immediately turning red.
