Chapter thirty-six

Three days later....

Third pov:
Hoseok woke up, his eyes fluttering open, flinching and blinking, trying to focus on the bright, white room. The smell of rubbing alcohol hit his sense of smell, he rubbed his tired eyes, noticing an IV in his right hand? He was in a hospital? But how is that possible, he was in the woods and he had his pups on his chest, in his grasp. 'My pups!' Hoseok shot up in the bed, panic and worry flood throughout his body, looking around the room and seeing them together in a hospital bassinet. He sighed in relief, laying back down in the bed, hearing the door to the room open. Seeing Jimin enter, the young omega gasped, Hoseok putting his finger to his lips and pointing towards the sleeping twins. The younger immediately pierced his lips together in a straight line, as he quickly and quietly made his way over to his friend, that had been missing for nearly over two weeks. They embraced in a tight, warm hug, shedding happy tears.
"Oh my god Hoseok, e-everyone was so wo-worried about you... you went mi-missing, ga-gave birth to twins on your o-own, a-and then y-y-you slept fo-or three days straight... I am so happy you're safe..." Jimin  rambled on his friends ear, both wetting each other's shoulders with tears. Hoseok let out a light heart filled chuckle, "ho-how are my pup? Nothing is wrong with them ri-right? The alpha tried to feed me a pill to induce me into labor." Jimin shook his head into the omegas shoulder, the two omegas soon separated, but still clung onto each other, afraid that it all might be a dream. The younger gave a teary smile, "They are perfect Hoseok, I'm so proud of you, both of them at so healthy and even look so much like you...but..." he eyes dropped, making the older worry a bit. "But what?" He asked softly, fearing the worst things that could've possibly happened to his angles. "It-it's nothing bad, they just..... they both have his eyes.... their eyes look identical to his Seokie, I just don't how you'll feel about it... that's all..." Jimin explain softly.
Hoseok released a breath of relief, his hand over his beating heart, just a second ago he felt like he was going have a heart attack. He took his friends hands in his, "Oh Jimin, their my pups and I will love them no matter what... and plus, I love their fathers eyes, I always found them calming, so don't worry, they were bound to get something from him."  He smiled softly at his friend, who released a sigh in relief. "Mr. Kim said you have two years of maternity leave and no trying to back out of it either," he said sternly as he pointed his small finger at the older, making his omega friend giggle, nodding his head in understanding.
"You've been through to much Seokie, you will still be getting paid as well, but the deposits won't start until next month. So I want you to spend this time relaxing, try to at least, with your pups." Seeing his sigh and roll his eyes in disbelief, "I promise Jimin, now will you relax please, everything will be fine." Trying to reassure his still tense friend, who always got over protective for his friends and family, even over the littlest things. But that's what everyone love about Jimin.

Jimin pulled a chair up to the hospital bed, plopping down into the seat, leaning his elbows on the mattress. Talking to his friend for hours, the young omega noticed the upset look in Hoseok's eyes whenever they mentioned the head alpha, not even daring to say his name. But mentioning the said alpha, brought the elder omega on edge.
'If only you knew Hoseokie,' the young omega thought to himself. He let out a shaky breath, "Hoseokie... you know, you don't haft to work for the company right? Or you could even change positions when you get back... but to be honest, I-I think you should speak to the head alpha, I know it sounds crazy... but, j-just give him a chance... you can't keep the pups away from their father..."
Hoseok had his gaze fixed on his pups, still sleeping peacefully, as he thought about his friends words. He let out a puff of air through his nose, nodding his head slowly, "I'll try Jimin..... but it's hard to forget everything like it never happened..... I think he needs time to think about what he did, I don't want him near the twins if he is going to flip out again." Jimin nod, he understood his friend decision, because he went through hell and back, one to many times.
