Chapter forty-three

Third pov:
Hoseok and Taehyung tucked the twins into bed.
They quietly stepped outside the room, Taehyung cracking the door as he left. The alpha looked around, not seeing the omega anywhere, he made his way to bedroom next door.
"Hoseok?" He called out the omegas name quietly, wondering how the omega disappeared so fast.
He stepped into the bedroom the omega was staying in. Spotting the omega standing outside on the balcony, leaning on his forearms against the railing, looking out to the snowy landscape.
Taehyung opened the door to the balcony, stepping outside in the cool winter air, making sure to close the door behind him.
"You know... I've always wanted another pup... I just... never got the right moment or chance I guess," the omega softly spoke out, not looking back at the alpha behind him.
Taehyung cleared his throat, making his way beside the omega, placing his hands on the railing. He shrugged and let out a sigh, "I-It's up you Hoseok..." he mumbled.
Hoseok then glanced back at the alpha, needing answers, not knowing how much longer he can hide in the dark. "Why do you push me away? You tried to get my attention ever sense I came back to the company, but now... you act as if nothing ever happened between us... why?" The omega asked, with his voice laced with sadness and slight anger.
The alpha hung his head down, staring at the snow on the ground below them.
"I'm just.... I-I'm just afraid of hurting you..." the alpha mumbled. Hoseok shook his head in disbelief, he face scrunched in confusion.
"What do you mean Taehyung?!"he whisper shouted, tears peaked from the corner of his eyes. His back straightened up, as he faced the alpha, that still hung his head low.
"You're hurting me by pushing me away Taehyung! I'm giving you chance to be with us, but I always feel out of the picture! E-every time I think you're going to kiss me or show me affection! Even if I try to put some effort into showing you my forgiveness! You shy away like a coward! Why is that!?" Hoseok shouted in a low voice because the kids were asleep.
Taehyung's head shot up, his glossy eyes locking with the omegas. Tears started the trickle down the alphas cheeks. "I love you... " he said in a hushed voice.
Hoseok's eyes narrowed, glaring at the alpha in front of him. "I love you too, but why don't you show it... you are messing with my emotions Taehyung... everytime you trick me into thinking maybe you do love me, you push it away and act as if it never happened... the kids! They even noticed it and their three years old.... I want to move on from you so bad because all you seem to do is hurt me... emotionally confusing me everyday... and I'm sick of it, but I still love you... sense the day I first met you... I always have, but you are confusing me.... I-I always try to get your attention... but... y-you.... y-you say it now, but you don't show it.... Y-You barely try..." the omegas breath hitched, choking on a sob afterwards, rubbing his teary eyes with his palms.
Taehyung stared at the omega in disbelief, hating himself more than ever, he shook his head. He tried to stop and wipe away his tears, but they just kept falling. He forced himself to look back at the omega, hating that he always seemed to be the cause of the omegas tears.
Taehyung's hands clenched the railing, his knuckles turning white. "I-I was blind... so blind to s-see my feelings for you... My father snapped it into me w-when he-ha told me-me you were having t-twins.... I love you, so much, words can't even describe it.... h-hurting you was the main thing holding me back from showing you... I-I even moved o-out of my fathers house... the guilt o-of what I did to you... it-it eats me alive an-and I try to push it away, but I am a coward... I am coward and I-I am so s-sorry..." the alpha stuttered, not able to contain his sobs.
Hoseok only shook his head, sniffling, "You are stuck in the past Taehyung.... I-I forgave you... I just... don't know what to do anymore to fix it... You came to me, wanting to know about the twins and I let you see them.... You buy us things, which I appreciate, but, hanging out with the pups, showering them with love and affection, is something I die and wish to see in the man I would spend the rest of my life with... you say you love me, but you don't even try to show me any form of affection anymore..." The omega paced to the door, heading inside.
Taehyung's mind was spinning, his heart feels heavy. The omega words spun in his head and without second thought, he bolted inside. Seeing the omega standing there like a statue, with his back facing the alpha.
"Hoseok... I—"
"No!" The omega cut him off, whisper shouting through gritted teeth. Hoseok spun and faced the alpha,
"You say you love me, but you will just push me away, over and over again and I want it to stop... you're confusing me and the twins and I've had it up to here..." his hand hovering up, beside his head.
He stepped up to the alpha, pointing his finger at him. "I'm done wiping your tears for you... when you won't even wipe mine because all you do is watch them go... like how you watched me go that day you accused me for lying about my pregnancy." The omega spat, and turned on his heel, about to walk out of the room. Taehyung took hold of the omegas thin wrist.
"Please Hoseok... I do love you... I jus-"
Hoseok spun, facing the alpha again, his glare shutting up the younger.
"Then at least show it to me and prove it," the omega growled out.
Taehyung swallowed a lump in his throat, and pulled the omega closer, by the waste, his lips connecting to the plump ones. Something both of them have been wanting to do for a long time. Hoseok's eyes were wide open in shock, his heart rate increased. The kiss wasn't lustful like that night, no, it was full of love. He finally relaxed, kissing the alpha back and deepening the kiss. Which shocked Taehyung as well, but he didn't hesitate to pull away for a second. Feeling the electricity run through them, as their lips danced in a rythme.
They then parted for air, the alpha gazed in the deep brown orbs, not locking away from them. He pulled the omega into a warm embrace, digging his nose into the elders neck and taking in the Vanilla scent. Which shocked the omega even more, as Hoseok hesitantly hugged back.
"I can show you my love... if you let me?" The alpha whispered into the omegas ear, feeling his head nod. Taehyung pulled away, rest his hands on the slim waist. Then bringing his right hand up, cupping the tear stained cheek, whipping the tears away with the pad of his thumb. Then connecting his lips to the omegas.
Hoseok hooked his arms around the alphas neck, not wanting the moment to end and if it's a dream please don't let it end with an alarm.
