Jake

"Yo Beavis, wait up!" I ran to catch up with the pubic haired guy a few feet in front of me.

"Stop calling me Beavis." Travis laughed.

"Don't act like you don't love my cute nicknames." I smirked.

"Oh, stop it you." Travis put his hand in front of his mouth and giggled like a shy girl.

"Well, aren't you proud? I'm pretty early for a Monday, right?" I asked. It wasn't even near noon and I was already in school. It must've been a new record for me.

"Dude, it's Tuesday." Travis raised his eyebrows and shot me a concerned look.

"Right. I knew that." I said. Travis patted my shoulder and shook his head gravely. Whatever, at least I was here. Who cared what day it was?

"You're one of a kind, man." Travis chuckled.

"Could you stop flirting with me for one second? God, you're so clingy!" I rolled my eyes but I was struggling to keep a neutral expression.

"I thought we had something special." Travis pouted.

I followed Travis to class and took a seat next to him. I couldn't help but think something wasn't right. Probably because I'd been convinced it was Monday.

But it wasn't.

How amazing to think it's Monday and then realise you were wrong 'cause let's face it; Mondays are the worst.

"I should be happy you're attending class, Mr Matthews, but you don't take this class." The old wrinkly teacher in front of me said. I wasn't sure if it was a he or a she. Maybe I should follow it to the restroom some day to find out.

"Ha. I knew something didn't feel right." I pondered. A few people around me started laughing. It wasn't funny, this was a serious matter. I had no idea what class I had.

I looked at Travis with a confused look and he started laughing. "Dude, I don't know either." He answered like I'd asked the question out loud.

"Oh well, I'll go to the nurse." I shrugged. The nurse was amazing. At first I was extremely disappointed that the nurse wasn't a hot, young thing with a sexy uniform. Instead it was a fairly young guy. I liked Bart though, he'd always let you sleep for an hour if you went to visit him.

"Call Code, dude. He probably has the same class as you." Travis suggested. The chance that Code knew where we had class was pretty slim but I was in a good mood so I decided to do what Travis said.

"Thanks sweetheart." I winked and left the class without another word.

I decided to smoke another cigarette before I'd go to class. In the meanwhile I rang Code and hoped that fucker would actually pick up. The guy didn't like his phone and no one really understood why.

We didn't question Code's behavior, we all knew he was something else.

"Yeah?" His voice said.

"Code, hi. Jake here." I said and took another drag from my cigarette.

"Hey dude, what's up?" He asked. I guess he was in a good mood too because I'd been expecting something like 'what do you want?' but he seemed cheerful. Or high.

"Not much." I shrugged even though it was stupid because he couldn't see me. What could I say? I talked with my body.

Ask any girl.

"You?" I asked in return.

"Eh, little bored. Hang on." I could hear some noise in the background but I couldn't tell what was happening.
