|Chapter 18|

JUSTINS POV:

the pizza had finally came and raegan, anthony, and i were in the kitchen eating. it's silent, i don't like it at all.

"this is good pizza." i say trying to break the silence. ant nods.

"yeah definitely." he agrees with me and i smile. why's it so awkward?

"so justin, have you talked to jayden?" raegan asks me and i wipe my face with a napkin, confused on why'd he ask me that.

"n-no i haven't. i don't think he wants anything to do with me." i put my head down a little when i feel a hand on my knee. i look up quickly and see ant looking right at me.

"you're better without him." he tells me and glances at raegan also. i just nod, not wanting to speak. i stare at my food, totally losing my appetite.

"i promise i'll always be your best friend." he says to me and i smile a little, nodding my head.

i stand up and throw the rest of the piece of pizza left on my plate. i walk out of the kitchen without saying a word, going back up to my room. that was weird and way too awkward for me.

i lay down and close my eyes. i just want to relax right now and not worry about anything. i breathe slowly, feeling my body melt into my bed. i fall into a deep sleep.

i wake up, realizing it's morning. i rub my eyes with my hands. i take the blankets off myself and stand up, walking out of my room and down the stairs. the first thing i see is anthony and raegan on the couch sleeping. i didn't know raegan was staying over.

i leave them alone and make my way to the kitchen. i take out some cereal and milk for myself. i sit at the table and peacefully eat my breakfast. this is what i need, time to myself.

the door bell rings and i drop my spoon in the bowl of cereal. i check my phone and see its 10 o'clock. i groan, standing up and walking to the front door. i open it and as the light of the outside hits me, i see jayden. standing right in front of me.

"what are you doing here?" i ask, obviously wanting to get right to the point. i move back and he comes in, not saying anything.

"justin?" i hear to my left and turn my head, seeing anthony waking up. "what's he doing here?"

"i don't know." i say and look back at jayden. he's taping his foot and staring at me.

"i wanted to see how you were doing." he says and i gulp, not knowing how to answer that.

"bullshit." i hear ant. i look at him and shake my head.

"wait." i say to him and he just sits there, annoyed as hell.

"why do you care?" i speak again and his eyes go wide. "you broke up with me and you seemed mad. i'm over it." i tell him which is kind of a lie. i'm not really over it.

"i told you i'd always love you." he says quickly and at this point i don't even want to hear it.

"but you broke up with me. i don't believe it. don't promise shit you won't keep." i say and cross my arms at him. he just looks at me, a little in shock.

"get out jayden." ant says and i now notice that raegan has woken up. he's looking right at me.

"you can't leave me alone with justin for a second?" jayden asks, raising his voice a little to sound more intimidating.

"no, you broke his heart."

"oh i'm sorry, he's the one who kissed your boyfriend." once jayden says that, ant gets up and stomps over ready to kill someone. i quickly step in front of him and stop him in his tracks.

"i'll make him leave." is all i say to make him back up away from us.

"let's talk jay." he says and i shake my head at him.

"i told you i'm over it. please leave." i tell him and he just once again looks at me. he nods slowly, stepping out of the house and shutting the door. i let out a breath i didn't know i was holding in.

"what a dick." i hear raegan mumble. i wanna agree with that, but i cheated. i messed up first.

i walk over and engulf anthony in a hug, squeezing him so hard as i feel my eyes burn. he rubs my back, calming me down.

"it's over." he says and i nod, running my fingers through his hair.

i then to over to raegan, just giving him a simple hug. i need all the support i can get right now. and i'm still thinking of what raegan said. i could never do what he wants to do right? and i could never tell anthony...right?

"you wanna hang down here and watch movies with us?" ant asks me gently.

"yes please." i sit on the couch next to rae. i don't want to be alone right now. i need the two people i really love right now.

during a movie, i felt a hand on my thigh. i look over and see raegan's hand. what's he doing? anthony is right there watching the movie.

i swat his hand away from me, not looking up at his face. i slouch down on the couch, continuing to watch the movie. he won't stop. not even around his boyfriend, who is my bestest friend ever.

i eventually look over to raegan, seeing him watch the movie. he notices me looking and looks back at me. his eyes travel around my face as i do the same thing. he's so, pretty. his features make me shiver in my skin. why. why is he my best friends boyfriend?
