We arrived at a diner. "What was Hamilton doing at your house? Not to mention that he wasn't wearing a shirt." Lucas asked as we sat down. I bit the inside of my cheek. "Well, my mom invited him over and I actually had to stay with him, but who would want that, staying with the ass all night, right?""A lot of girls apparently." Lucas laughed and I growled at that. "Ew."
"What do you guys wanna eat?" The waiter asked. "Allison Daniels?"
I looked at the waiter and a grin came onto my face. "Lewis Evans."
He returned the grin. "So what brings you here?" I pointed at Lucas in front of me. Lewis' gaze drifted to Lucas. "Sanchez." He mumbled. "Evans." Lucas dryly answered. I gave them a confused look before they both started laughing.
"It's been a while buddy." Lewis said ad patted his shoulder. "It is."
"Are you guys dating?" Lewis asked looking between me and Lucas. I shook my head and he frowned. "I thought you always had a thing for Lu-" I smacked his chest and he gave me a look before nodding that he understood it. "How's Ethan?"
Side note: Lewis is the ex of Ethan.
"He's good and dating Will at the moment." I said and I could see a blunt of sadness in Evans' eyes. They had dated for ten months. "That's... good. Now, orders."
"Can I have a vanilla milkshake and a burger with fries?" I asked and I looked at Lucas. "Same for me." Lewis' gave us a smile before walking away. "Didn't you eat fries this lunch?" He asked and I frowned. "How did you know? Did you stalk me?"
Lucas laughed. "You wish, but no. I saw you and Hamilton talking at lunch and he stole your fries or something." I sighed at the thought of my fries being taken away from me. "Yeah, he did."
"How do you know Hamilton?" He asked and I raised my eyebrows at him. "Everyone knows Hamilton."
"Yeah, true that. Just, you seem to actually talk to him without freezing." He said and I laughed at that. "The guy is a softie."
"Is he?" Lucas asked and furrowed his eyebrows. I nodded. "He wouldn't be my brother's best friend if he wasn't. He may act like he's a big boy, but he isn't."
"Ben, right? Your brother." He asked and I nodded. "Yeah."
"How long has he been together with Riley?"
I bit my lip. "I think a year and a half." Lucas nodded as the food was served. I took a sip of my milkshake. "What about you, do you have siblings?"
He slowly nodded. "Half-sister, Ivy, she's six." I took another sip of my milkshake. "Dad or Mom's side?"
"Dad, my mom died ten years ago." He said, looking at me. I swallowed at that comment. "Well, my dad died exactly five years ago."
Lucas bit us lip. "How?" I asked and he sighed. "Car accident."
"Cancer." I said, remembering the way I had stared blank at my dad as he told us the news.
We stayed silent for a while. "This milkshake is the best." He said and I looked at him, nodding. "It is, you know, I used to come here a lot with her." He said, looking around. "We sat in that booth over there and I always ordered a blueberry milkshake while she ordered a mocha one." He pointed at a booth in the corner where a couple was sitting. I licked my lips and frowned. "Isn't it hard to be here than?"
He slowly shook his head, eating his fries. "I like that I can share the places with other people."
"Well next time I'm taking you to the place my dad used to take me, even with his cancer." I said and he gave me a soft smile. "Sounds good. C'mon I'll pay and we'll get ice cream on the way back to your house."
He paid the bill and we walked a little further to an ice cream parlor. I ordered vanilla and cherries while he got lemon and raspberry.
"Can't believe you'd eat those cones, honestly, they're disgusting." I said as we walked back to his car. I sat down and put a spoon of ice cream into my mouth. He looked at me. "You're different."
I cocked an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"You're not like the other girls. I mean, it's not like you don't look like one. You just don't act like a girl, not that you're a boy. Just that-"
I cut him off by putting my lips on his. He was shocked and then a smile came onto his face as I pulled away. "Damn."
"I guess so." I said and he nodded. "That's a good thing, they always jump into bed immediately."
I swallowed and fiddled with my fingers. "Right."
"It's not like I never had sex, it's just that it's special." He said and looked at me. I didn't look back, not knowing what to say.
I was still a virgin.
"Everything okay?" He asked and I looked at him. "Indeed, special. Concluding I'm still a virgin." I muttered the last part. He licked his lips. "Really? I mean, don't get me the wrong way, but I didn't expect that."
I frowned. "How come?" He sighed. "You hang out with Hamilton, I figured that maybe something had happened between you over break." He mumbled and I rolled my eyes. "If there really had happened something, he would've dropped me like all the other girls."
Lucas started the car. "I'll get you home." He said, getting away from the topic. I put on my seatbelt and we drove away. He parked his car on the driveway, behind Connor's car.
Concluding he didn't leave.
I puffed at that and Lucas noticed. "You don't like him?"
I laughed. "I hate him, calling me all those nicknames with his stupid Newcastle accent."
Lucas chuckled. "I think that's the way he gets the girls."
I rolled my eyes. "Not all of them." I got out the car, Lucas his footsteps following me before turning me around and placing his lips on mine. I kissed him back, knowing he had wanted to do this for a long time. He shortly pulled away. "Daniels, I have been wanting to do this since the day I met you."
I looked into his deep blue eyes. "Then continue." He gently pushed me against the wall and the kiss got more passionate as my hands found their way to his blonde hair. I gently pulled on it causing a soft groan to come from his mouth. His tongue swirling around mine.
I faintly heard the front door unlock and open, not realising that it actually was the front door. "Finally, you're ba-"
I pulled away from Lucas who had an eager look in his eyes. I met deep brown eyes. "Hamilton."
He was still not wearing a shirt. I rolled my eyes as his lips parted at the sight in front of him. "Sanchez." He said to Lucas, who only seemed to be irritated.
I sighed and put my mid length hair behind my ear. "What did you need?" I asked Connor and he gave me a grin. "I told you already." I wanted to smack his chest, but he took my hand before my hand actually met his chest.
Lucas, who was a little pissed at the whole situation, ran his hand trough his hair. "I'll see you tomorrow?" My hand was still in Connor's, I shrugged his hand away and nodded, planting a kiss on Lucas' cheek before I watched him walk back to his car. "Way to ruin the moment Con."
"How would I sense that you're making out with a Italian guy on your front porch?" He said as he put a hand full of popcorn in his mouth. We walked back inside. "I'm going to bed." I said and he cocked an eyebrow. "Already? It's only eleven."
I sighed. "Yeah, bye." He stopped me by pulling my arm. "Why don't you ever smile?" I gave him a bored look. "Why would I smile at you?"
"Not at me, just in general." He trailed off to look somewhere else. "Is it because of him?" My eyes started to water, I quickly blinked, not wanting Hamilton to see me cry.
I didn't answer and walked upstairs. Shutting the door of my room behind me. I sat down on my bed.
I missed him.
