I woke up, turning around and facing... no one.
I sat up, looking around the room. "Morning." Connor said, putting on his shirt. "I like you better without a shirt." I said.
He looked at me. "You're sounding like every girl ever."
I shrugged. "Just stating the facts."
"Besides, you're hanging out with Ben today, no Connor-time for now." He said, walking out of my room. "Connor!" I shouted after him.
I pushed the cover off of my body and got out of the bed. I put on clothes and walked downstairs, the scent of cinnamon waffles hitting my nostrils. I placed myself on the counter and eyed my brother as he baked the waffles. "Morning." He said, looking up. "Morning." I said, yawning right after. "Didn't sleep much?" He asked.
I shrugged. "Woke up cold."
"Oh, I thought it was because of late night activities." He said, putting a waffle on a plate. I sighed. "Well, kinda." I said, grabbing the plate and jumping off the counter and taking place at the table. "It's kinda weird to hear your best friend ask for condoms."
"What?" I asked. "I mean, not weird until it's to have sex with his sister. I'm okay with it, like totally."
I looked up at him. "Whoa, I never thought I'd hear you say that."
Connor walked into the kitchen. "I'm leaving now, so you can have a whole day of brother and sister time." He said and Benjamin gave him a thankful look. "Thanks, about time your British ass left the house."
"Oh, shut it, Daniels." He laughed. I frowned, shaking my head. He walked up to me and put his arms around my shoulders from the back, kissing my cheek. "Oh, are you sad?" I asked and he scoffed. "No."
"Whatever you say."
He kissed my lips a few times before taking a bite of my waffles. "Oh, these are really good."
"Thanks, now, get out of here." Ben said. Connor placed another kiss on my lips and sighed. "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow."

"These burgers are really good." Benjamin groaned. "I know." I said, taking another bite. "I really missed hanging out with you." He said, grabbing his glass of lemonade. "Connor has been taking all your time lately."
I nodded. "Yeah, me too."
"You really love the boy, don't you?" He asked and my cheeks flushed red. "He loves you like you're the only thing existing." He grinned and took a sip of his drink. "How do you know?" I asked.
"He's my best friend." Ben said, leaning back in his seat. "I guess that and just the way he talks about you and the look on his face when he does. Even before you started dating, he never said anything disrespectful about you, only positive things. Wait, one time he said you were stubborn, but that was about it. Plus, he confessed his love for you to me in the car on our way to that club in Newcastle."
I pushed my hair behind my ear. "I did not know that."
"I think that's because he acts all cocky, but he's a really soft guy."
"I've noticed."
He shook his head. "You guys are different."
"What?" I asked, taking another bite of my burger. "Cause, who tells their boyfriend they love him when he takes a sip of their drink."
"Me." I muffled trough my burger. He chuckled. "Of course you, idiot."
I swallowed my burger and eyed my brother, knowing he wasn't finished talking yet. "Do you wanna marry him?"
I bit the inside of my cheek. "Ask me in five years, if we're still together and I'll tell you." I answered. He nodded. "Good idea, I was scared you were gonna say yes, to be honest."
I frowned. "Why?"
"I mean, you're only seventeen and I don't want you to bond to someone that may break your heart one day, I'm not saying he will, but I'm not saying he won't because he's my best friend. It's crazy he's been dating you this long."
"I know, don't be afraid. I'm not expecting anything, but I'm not gonna deny that I do see us together in the future." I said.
There was a silence and he sighed. "What happened with Emma?" I asked and he fixed his position. "She, uhm, wasn't really seeing us in a relationship."
"Didn't you guys have sex?" I asked and he nodded. "Yeah, but, actually I don't know why because now she's dating this douchebag of a Jackson."
"You still like her, don't you?"
He nodded, letting out a deep sigh. "Hey, maybe one day." I said and he shrugged. "I don't know, they've been sucking faces all day."
"Benjamin Nate Louis Daniels," I said firmly. "You are gonna get her and you are gonna tell her how you feel, even if it takes her ten years to be ready for you. You are the best guy I know, and if she doesn't wanna see that it is her fucking loss."
A smile came onto his face. "Okay, okay, when do I throw my feelings into her face?"
"Well, if you wanna say it like that, sure thing."
"Wait, what about her relationship with Jackson."
"Bet they haven't had sex." I said, grinning. "We don't care about him, if it's the Jackson I know too, well than it's okay to just waltz in. Okay, maybe not out of nowhere. Are you guys still friends?" I asked. He nodded, frowning. "Where are you getting at?"
"You guys should hang out tonight, I'll leave the house and make sure mom won't be there. You'll have to whole house to yourself." I said, grinning.
"Alli," He said, sighing. "I love you, but where will you go. Connor isn't home cause he's out with his family like you told him to."
"I'll go to Brooklyn's." I said, getting out my phone to message her and my mom. "Okay, do I ask Emma now?"
I nodded as I typed out my messages. "What do I say?"
"Something, who cares?" I asked, putting my phone away. "Okay, I asked if she wanted to hang out."
"What does she like to eat?" I asked. "Pizza." He said. "Go get pizza at that diner where Lewis works." I proposed and he nodded. "Good idea, thank you, you're the best."
"Of course I am."

"Thanks for letting me stay tonight." I said, putting down my backpack in Brooklyn's room. "You said it was a emergency, I figured I'd just let you stay, but what is it?"
"Well, Ben is having a date with this girl he really likes and he really did need the house for themselves." I said, plopping down on her desk chair. "Wow," She said, shaking her head. "Your boyfriend wasn't an option?"
"No, he's hanging out with his family." I said, spinning around. "And we haven't had a lot of time to hang out."
"Yeah, it's been a while. How are you and Connor actually?" She asked and I grinned. "Awesome."
"Good," She said, walking up to her bed. "you guys are cute."
I stopped spinning around because I was getting dizzy. "Thank you, how's your love-life?" I asked and she shrugged. "Boring, I mean, I'm not really into someone at the moment and I don't have the need to date someone. It's just me, myself and I to be honest."
"Hey, what are we gonna do?" I asked. She grinned as she looked at me. "I have an idea, let's make cupcakes like we used to."
"I'm down for cupcakes."
