Allison Daniels
I looked at my phone, confused. Why would Connor be at Ethan's?
I anxiously walked around my room, before finally sitting down on my bed. I licked my lips and laid down. There was a knock on my door. "Come in." I said and sat back up, seeing Ben looking at me with crossed arms. "So, what are you gonna do?"
"I don't know."
"Do you love him or not?" He asked and I played with my hands. "I just don't think it's up to you to ask me that." I said and he chuckled. "It really is though, Hamilton is my best friend and-"
My phone rang and I immediately picked up, avoiding my brother's glare. "Eth?" I asked. "Alli, meet me at the park."
"It's raining, why would I go outside? Can't you go to my house?" I asked and I heard him sigh. "Bitch, just come, it's urgent. I can feel that it's raining."
He ended the call and I frowned, meeting my brother's green eyes. "I'm gonna head to the park, you're driving me actually." I said and he was about to say something, but I had already grabbed my hoodie. I walked downstairs and opened the front door. "Benjamin, Eth is waiting."
"Yeah, yeah, I was trying to find my keys." He said, putting on his jacket. He unlocked his car and walked outside, eyeing the rain. "It's storming, could he really not just come over here?"
I got in the car and he followed my movements, looked at me and shook his head. "There is so much I do for you and-"
"Shut up and drive." I said and he sighed before starting the car. The drive that was supposed to be ten minutes felt like two hours. As soon as he stopped I got out, throwing the hood of my hoodie over my head. "You can go now, I'll get home." I said and Benjamin shook his head. "No way."
"Ben, I'll get home safe, I'll text you." I said and his eyes flickered over the streets. "Okay, but call me." I started walking into the park and looked over my shoulder, watching Ben's car drive away. I walked trough the park to Ethan's and I regular hang out spot. I spotted a figure on the swing, the figure was built more muscular than Ethan. I slowly walked up to the guy that was wearing a black jacket, the hood over his head. As soon as he heard me, his head jerked towards me.
His dark eyes met mine. He quickly got up, hovering over me. "Connor?" I said more than asked. His breath was shaky, probably because he was cold. His expression wasn't as bright as normal, it was more serious. I frowned and looked around. "Where is Ethan?"
"He isn't here, I figured if I texted you, you probably wouldn't have come cause of what happened that night. Even at school, I didn't see you. We didn't talk and I felt like I messed up again." He said and I bit the inside of my cheek. "I just- This week killed me, literally, I couldn't get you off my mind. I went to this party Friday night, there was this really cute girl," I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "No, wait, don't think what you're thinking. We kissed, she obviously wanted more, the thing is, she didn't turn me on. This is about to sound weird, but she just couldn't give me this feeling you gave me when I kissed you. Even though our kiss lasted about two seconds, it sent my head flying high, it left me feeling like I'm on clouds. There were this fireworks exploding in my stomach. Damn, just when your arm brushes against mine, there's like electricity going trough my body. You can think what you want now, I'm probably still the same old fuckboy in your eyes, but I don't want to be anymore." He paused, scanning my face. I tried not to look into his eyes.
"You know, how I told you to smile more?" He asked and I slowly nodded. "That's it, your smile gives me this warm feeling inside, it's magical I can even say. I swear to fucking God, the sound of your laugh, it's music to my ears. I don't get to hear it that much or see your smile, but I know for a fact that I sometimes make you smile. It makes me feel fantastic, and that's a feeling I haven't experienced in all these years. The day you first smiled at me, it was a little one, but it was there, I got goosebumps all over my body. Everything I'm saying probably sounds so cheesy and not even real. But I do mean it when I say that I'm falling for you." He said, his eyes never leaving mine. He looked away for a split second.
"For fuck's sake." I said and he glanced back at me. "What?"
I smashed my lips on is, standing on my tiptoes. His arms sneaked around my waist as my hands slipped off the hood of his jacket and grabbed his hair. He pulled me even closer, his tongue entering my mouth. Our tongues danced together as the rain soaked our clothes. His hands went to my lower back, pulling me closer. Even though I was running out of breath, it didn't stop me from deepening the kiss even more. His lips were soft against mine, his now wet clothes were sticking to his muscles. My hand held the back of his neck while his now were cupping my face. I pulled apart to catch my breath and look into his eyes before pulling him closer one more time, feeling his body heat radiating with mine.
We slowly pulled apart, catching our breaths, but still not letting go of each other. "You have really soft lips, what do you use to get them like that?" I asked and he chuckled. "Is that really the first thing you say after that kiss?" He asked and I put my head on his shoulder. "Yeah, it's important."
He put his chin on top of my head. "If only you had kissed me sooner."
I shivered and he rubbed my back. "Want a lift back to your place? I can imagine your brother worrying about you in his room."
I looked at him, scanning his face. There was a soft blush on his cheeks because of the cold weather, his eyes twinkling as he looked at me. "Yeah, if you insist."
"Mhm." He said and placed another kiss on my lips before letting go of me. We walked to his car and he kept looking at me as we walked, a soft smile on his face. "What?" I asked, raising my left eyebrow. "You're cute." He said and I sighed, shaking my head. "Goof."
"Hey, can't I say that? I mean it." He said and put his arm around my shoulders. We got to his car and go in. "You know, that was the most cheesy make out I've ever had." He said and I looked at him. "Surprises me." I said, he grinned and pushed his hair out of his face. "I need a haircut." He said and I shook my head. "No, I kinda like it like this." I said and he licked his lips, his eyes playful. "Okay, if you like it, I'll leave it like this."
"Come on, stop talking and drive back to my house." I said and he turned in his seat. "Well, if you really wanna go that fast, I'm down." He said and I rolled my eyes, a smile on my face. "Maybe one day."
"I... are we like, together now?" He asked, trying not to sound desperate. "I mean, do you want that?"
He looked at me. "Allison Jordan Taylor Daniels, do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked. "If you, Connor Elian Grant Hamilton would be my boyfriend." I said and he grinned, placing his lips on mine.
He started driving towards my house. On the way the radio was softly playing in the background, a comfortable silence hanging between the two of us.
If only I had kissed him sooner.
