I walked downstairs, Lucas on my heels. "Hey, you can't just leave and not let me explain." He shouted. "I can, I'm doing it. I don't wanna hear it, just go. We're trough." I said and walked to Connor. "Hamilton, really? Are you ready for him?" Lucas asked. I froze in my position and licked my lips, turning to him. "What if I am?"
"You're lame." He said and I shook my head. "I'm honest, alright, you weren't really, were you?" I asked and bit his lip. "Ait, have fun fucking Connor Hamilton."
"I'm certain I'll have more fun than with you." I said and walked to Connor, who was sucking faces with some girl. "Connor." I said and he swatted me away, I tapped on his shoulder again. He slowly pulled apart and turned away from the girl. "Alli?"
"Could you bring me home?" I asked and he ran his hand trough his hair. "Sure, what's up? You look upset."
"Lucas and I broke up." I said and he excused himself to the girl, putting his arm around my shoulders. "You okay?" He asked, his eyes flickering trough the room. "What happened?"
"The bet. You knew, didn't you?" I asked and he slowly nodded. "Yeah, just never felt like telling you. I knew you were smart enough." He said and I leaned closer into his touch.
***"I swear to God, this is the best ice cream I've ever had." I said and Connor grinned. "Yeah, kiddo, I know."
I flinched, going silent as we walked down the alley. "Did I- Shit, I'm sorry." He said and I shook my head. "No, it's fine."
"It's not fine, I knew your dad called you that and now I just ruined the whole thing again." He sighed.
I bit my lip. "You did not, it's okay."
"Are you certain?"
I gave him a small smile. "Yeah."
"You do realise that I skipped my hook up, just to get ice cream with you, right?" He asked and I looked up at him. "Yeah, I know. Thanks, I guess."
He laughed and put a spoon of ice cream in his mouth. "You were right about Lucas all along. I'm sorry I never believed you." I said and he shrugged. "I'm glad you didn't."
I frowned. "What?"
"I mean, I was jealous. Still am." He said, taking another spoon into his mouth. I decided not to question anything as we walked back to his house. "Is Hayden home?" I asked.
He shook his head. "No, she's at Santos'." He said, his nose wrinkling at the thought of him and her together.
"So we are alone?" I asked and he looked at me, cocking an eyebrow. "Planning on doing anything to me?" He asked, a playful tone on his voice. "Maybe killing you."
"Ha ha." He said, rolling his eyes.
We walked into his front porch and he opened the door. I threw away my cup in the kitchen and took of my jacket. "Do you want something else to wear? I suppose a dress isn't that comfortable." He said and I nodded. "Yeah, a hoodie would be fine."
"Let's get upstairs." He said and I followed him into his room. He handed me one of his hoodies and I went to the bathroom to change. I took off my bra, too, so that I felt more comfy.
I walked out of the bathroom, him about to put on another shirt. My eyes went to his defined abs and V-line. I licked my lips, trying to look away.
He grinned and put on the other shirt.
"Do you wanna watch a movie?" He asked.
"Boring."
"What then?"
