November, senior year

"Morning." I said, hugging my mom. "Hey, honey." She said, hugging me back.

Dean walked into the kitchen. "Ben just called, he'll be here any minute."

"Really?" I asked and Dean nodded. "Yes!" Thomas exclaimed excitedly.

"Hey, am I not good enough?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow. "You are, but I missed talking to Ben about stuff can't talk about with you." He said, shrugging his shoulders. "It's okay." I said, poking his sides.

I grabbed a bowl and poured in cereals and milk. "Did he tell you anything about grandma?" I asked and Dean nodded. "Yeah, she's kinda hard on Emma."

"Of course she is, she hates Connor, too." I said and Dean sighed. "Well, not true. She started liking the guy after Ben told her more about him."

"Really?"

"But the part where you guys get intimate." He said, leaning against the counter. I looked at my mom and noticed something different.

"Mom, is that a new ring?" I asked and she looked at me, her cheeks turning red. "Uhm, yeah, it is."

"Dad." Thomas said and Dean bit the inside of his cheek. "Can we tell them?" He asked and mom nodded. "We're getting married." Dean said and I shrieked, putting my hand over my mouth. "No fucking way." Thomas said, his eyes widening.

Mom nodded. "Alli," She said, walking up to me. "I hope you understand that I'll always be in love with your dad, Peter is always gonna be the love of my life, but Dean really means a lot to me."

"Mom, I don't mind. Dad would've wanted this." I said and we shared a long lasting hug. I did the same with Dean. "We actually wanted to tell you later, when Ben was here too, but I guess you noticed quicker than we thought." He said and rubbed my back.

The doorbell rang and I let go off Dean, rushing to the door to open it. I threw my arms around my brother and he dropped his bag onto the ground. "Hey."

"Hey," He said, pulling me closer to him. "I missed you."

"Of course you did." I said, pulling away. "Cocky much?" He asked, laughing. My mom walked over to hug him and so did the rest. "We missed you." Dean said. "Yeah, we did." Thomas said.

"You look spectacularly good in that hoodie." A voice sounded behind me, the British accent sounding stronger than ever. I turned around and my eyes widened as I saw him standing in front of me.

He opened his arms and I hugged him. "Hey." He said.

"Come on." Ben said. "Give them some space."

Connor tightened his grip and kissed my head. "I missed you." He said and I looked up, seeing the biggest smile on his face. "I missed you." I said, kissing him. He cupped my cheek and pulled me even closer with his other arm.

We slowly pulled away and he grinned. "Is it me or did you get better at kissing?"

I smacked his chest and he laughed, taking my hands in his. "I'm joking." He said and I rolled my eyes. "Maybe you should go back to Oxford already."

He shook his head. "I'm only leaving next Saturday."

I put my arms around him once again. "Good, cause I have a lot to tell you."

"Sounds exciting." He said, kissing me again. "So," I said, pecking his lips. "How's college?"

"It's alright, I met a few nice people, but this one girl that just creeps me out and won't leave me alone." He said, frowning. "Oh?" I asked and he looked at me. "Don't worry," He said. "She's nothing compared to you."
