"Come on, there is a cute store over there. You can buy something for your mum there. Plus, I want to spend time with you."
I got dragged along trough the streets of London, Connor guiding me. He abruptly stopped in front of a shop. I bumped into him, but he didn't seem to notice as he stared at the display. I rested my head against his arm. "You run fast."
"I'm in an American football team."
"Just say football."
"It's not the same."
"It is."
"No, it's not."
I laughed at his annoyed face, getting an eyeroll with a soft smile from him. I bit my lip, grinning as I scanned his side profile.
From the sharp jawline to the slight dimples when he smiled. I stood on my tip toes and kissed his cheek. He pulled me into a hug and kissed the top of my head.
I took his hand and dragged him into the little shop. "Connor Hamilton?" The girl behind the counter said and got off of her chair. She ran up to him and threw her arms around her. He chuckled as he hugged her back, letting go of my hand. "Hey Charlie." He said.
"What are you doing here? It's been months." She said, letting go of him and he rolled his eyes. "I'm visiting my Grandpa with my family." He said and before she said anything else, she turned to me, a questioning look in her brown eyes.
"Uhm, hi, I'm Charlotte." She said, extending her hand. I shook it and she flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder. "Allison." I said and she looked at Connor. "Cousin?"
Connor laughed, shaking his hand. "She's my girlfriend." He said, a smile on his face as he said it. Charlotte frowned.
Connor put his arm around my shoulder. "She's visiting England with me. Her brother is somewhere in London, too. I've told you about him, my best friend."
"Benjamin? The hot guy?" She asked and I tried to hold back an angry scoff at her choice of commenting on my brother's appearance. Connor seemed to notice I was annoyed. "I wouldn't say 'hot' myself." He said and cleared his throat before looking at me. "Why don't we look around to buy something for you mum and Dean? Maybe Thomas?"
I shook my head and bit my lips, sighing. "I'm gonna call Ethan to see how he is and to catch up with him." I said, taking out my phone. "You guys should catch up."
I walked outside and dialed Ethan's phone number. "Hey, Alli, how's England?"
"It's okay, I've only been here for a day of course, so I probably haven't seen anything." I said, walking to a bench and sitting down. "Is it cold there?"
"It's too cold to not wear a hoodie. It'll probably rain later this day, but we'll be in Newcastle." I said and Ethan cleared his throat on the other side of the line. "How's your beloved boyfriend?"
"He's catching up with an old friend, Charlotte or something." I said, biting my nails. "Oh, really?"
I hummed in response. "Is she nice?" He asked. "I don't know, just met her and I decided to let them catch up, but-"
"You're not okay with it, are you?" He asked. "Eth, is it bad of me to think they've had sex?" I asked and Ethan didn't answer for a few seconds. "Do you think they have?"
"I mean, for Connor, it wouldn't be that weird." I said and leaned back in the bench. "I just, I don't wanna feel like that every time I meet an old friend of him."
"Can you really blame him? He had sex with girls before he met you and his amount of having sex reduced after he met you, or got to know you. Alli, promise me you will not blame him for having sex with someone before he even knew you." He said and I bit my lip. "You're right, I can't."
"Allison?!" Someone shouted and I looked up. I met his green eyes across the street, a smile tugging on his lips. "Ethan, I'll call you tonight." I said, hanging up the phone. "Jonah?" I grinned and he walked up to me, hugging me. "Did you just grow?" I asked and he chuckled.
"I never expected to see you in England. What are you doing here?"
"I'm visiting my boyfriend's Grandpa with his family and my brother." I said and Jonah gnawed on his lip. "Boyfriend?"
"Yeah, you know, someone you date." I said and he rolled his eyes playfully. "I know what a boyfriend is, I have one myself."
I grinned. "When do I get to meet him?"
"Allison Daniels did not change, did she?"
"I did, I did. What are you doing here?" I asked. "Holidays. How's your brother?"
"He recently broke up with Riley and now he found this really cute girl." I said and Jonah bit his lip. "Whoa, I always thought they were gonna get married."
I shrugged. "I never liked her, don't ask me why. So, how's Canada?" I asked, changing the subject.
Jonah was my green eyed and hazel haired ex-boyfriend. We dated in middle school until the end of Freshman year when he moved to Canada to transfer schools.
"Meh, kinda missing the warmth of Glendale." He said and I nodded. "I get that, I-"
The door if the shop opened and Hamilton stepped outside. He walked up to us, a frown on his face as he scanned Jonah. "Wait, you're dating Connor Hamilton? You definitely stepped up your game." Jonah whispered, leaning closer to me. I smirked, rolling my eyes.
"My Mum just called, they wanna head to Newcastle now actually." Connor said, taking place next to me. He looked at Jonah, a not so amused look on his face.
"Oh, uhm, Connor, meet Jonah. Jonah, meet Connor." I said and they shook hands. "Nice to meet you." Jonah said and Connor nodded in response.
"Shall we get going?" Connor asked, ready to leave. "Newcastle? I'm heading there in two day, maybe I'll see you around?" Jonah asked, turning back to me. "Maybe, wait, I'll give you my number so you can text me." I said. He handed me his phone and I typed in my info.
"There you go, call me." I said and gave him a hug before walking off with Connor. After a few minutes of walking Connor cleared his throat. "Who was that?"
"Jonah Carrera." I shortly answered his question, sensing his annoyance. "And...?" He said, glancing at me. "He's my ex boyfriend, we dated three years. Middle school until Freshman year, he moved to Canada. We lost contact and now I happened to see him again in England." I said, shrugging. "If you lost contact, why would you give your number?"
"Because, if he actually goes to Newcastle I can hang out with him." I said, pointing out the obvious. Connor raised his eyebrow, scoffing. "Mhm."
I shook my head. "He has a boyfriend." I said and Connor frowned. "Bisexual?"
I slowly shook my head. "Pansexual."
He raised his eyebrows in confusion. "It's being in love with a person, doesn't matter who."
"So, do you still like him?" He asked, I narrowed my eyes in confusion. "Why would you ask that?"
He pursed his lips. "I don't know, you guys seemed to miss each other."
"Of course I like him, just not the way you're thinking. Con, I'm with you now and I know for a fact that I-" I cut myself off. He cocked his head to the side. "What?" He asked, grinning at the sudden redness emerging to my face. "I, uhm," I sighed and licked my lips. "Bloody hell, I adore you." He said and I looked at him. He looked back at me, his eyes widening at the words that had slipped his mouth.
"I didn't mean to-"
I placed my lips on his, cutting him off. His arms sneaked around my waist, my hands at the back of his neck. He pulled me closer to him, making sure there wasn't any space left between our bodies.
I adore you, too.
