I met Benjamin's eyes as I sat down at the table to eat breakfast. He was drinking water to swallow his aspirin, probably cause he drank too much last night.
I prepared my sandwich with chocolates-spread and filled my mug with tea.
Connor entered the kitchen and looked at me, a pained look on his face. "How much did I drink?" He asked, rubbing his head. I shrugged and he looked at Benjamin. "Do you remember?"
"I have no clue." Benjamin said and sighed short after. "We drank a lot, I threw up like five times."
Connor groaned as he placed himself next to me, taking my sandwich. I sighed as he took a bite. "You could've just made your own." I said and he shrugged. "That's what I have you for."
I rolled my eyes and he grinned. "Love you." He said before turning back to the sandwich.
"Samuel, stop it!" Caitlin giggled as she entered the kitchen, her husband on her heels. Her cheeks were flushed red and he had a sly grin on his face. "Oh, hey children." Caitlin said, trying to hide her smile. Connor frowned as he scanned his parents' face.
"Morning." Ben said, shaking his head.
"Kids, get your suitcases ready. We're leaving for London this afternoon." Samuel said, putting his arm around his wife's waist.
"Wait," Connor said, swallowing the sandwich. "I can show Alli London at night?"
Samuel shook his head. "Wouldn't do that, we're heading out for dinner."
"After?" Connor asked, getting exited like a little boy. "Son, no way, our flight is at like six."
"Alright." Connor sighed. "I'm going to shower." He said, getting up. He left, but not before he kissed my cheek. I got up, too and walked passed Benjamin.
I heard him sigh and mutter something before his footsteps followed me. "Alli?" He asked. I stopped and he ran a hand trough his hair. "I'm sorry about yesterday, I didn't mean for it to come out like that. Of course I miss dad, too, every day, but I just-"
"It's okay." I said.
"It's really not," He continued, but I chuckled. "I overreacted." I said and he frowned. "Wait-"
"Ben..." I whined. "It's okay."
He gave me an unsure look and I turned around to make my suitcase.

"Thanks for letting us stay." I said to Eric as the car was getting loaded. "It's nothing, it's nothing." He said and waved with his hand. "You're the perfect girl for my grandson, so it was my pleasure."
"Thank you." I said and we embraced. "Have a save flight." He said and patted my shoulder as I walked to the car.
Connor grinned as he saw me. "Okay, so-"
I got in the car and he frowned. "What?" I said and he furrowed his eyebrows even more. "Are you angry with me?"
"No?" I asked, shaking my head confused. "Why would I be?"
"I don't know, I asked you." He said and I sighed. "Alright," I said and he frowned. "You're confusing me."
I put my lips on his and he grinned. "Okay, less confusing."
"Are you guys done?" Caitlin chuckled. "No." Connor mocked and placed his lips on mine again. "Con..." I said and he showered my face with kisses. "What?"
Caitlin let out a soft sigh behind him. "Ah, young love." Samuel said as he kissed his wife on the cheek before getting into the driver seat. Hayden popped up behind her mom and frowned. "Why are we not getting in?"
Caitlin rolled her eyes. "This." She said and pointed at us. Hayden grinned. "You know mom," She turned to her mom. "They're actually kind of cute if you think about it."
"Did I ever say they weren't?" Caitlin asked and Hayden chuckled before getting onto the other seat next to Connor. Connor put his head on my shoulder and I kissed his head. "I love you." I whispered and he grinned, looking outside.
Samuel started the car and we drove to London.

After the dinner we immediately went to sleep and got back up at three in the morning to catch our flight at six. We arrived back in Glendale, saying goodbye to the Hamilton's as they dropped us off at home.
Ben and I rang the doorbell and the door almost immediately flew open. Mom hugged us both at the same time. "I missed you!" She exclaimed and I noticed a new couch over her shoulder. "Is that a new couch?" I asked and she let go of me. "Yes, it is. Dean bought it and I kinda like it."
Ben rubbed his eyes. "And I'm going to sleep now."
"But, aren't you gonna tell me about Newcastle?" She asked and Ben waved his hand. "Nope, Alli can tell you." He walked away and my mom gave me a questioning look. "Where's Thomas?" I asked and she gave me a small smile. "Still at Diana's, he should be here any minute."
We walked to the kitchen and I saw Dean preparing a meal. "Hey." I said and he let go of the spoon he was holding to give me a hug. "I've missed you." He said and I rubbed his back. "I missed you, too."
The front door was slammed shut and you could hear Thomas shout sorry from the hallway. He entered the kitchen, a streak of smudged lipstick on his cheek and a sheepish grin planted on his face. "Alli? I totally forgot you were coming back today." He said. I chuckled. "Well, you look like you've had fun." I said, pointing at his cheek.
He brought his hand up to his cheek and started rubbing the lipstick off his face. "My bad."
"Diana's bad, you mean." Dean said, stirring some kind of sauce.
Thomas sighed. "Alright, how was England?"
"It was fun, a lot of fun, I met his Uncle Matt and cousins. Also, I saw Jonah again." I said, turning to my mom. Her mouth fell open. "Really? What was he doing there?"
"He was there with his family and boyfriend." I said and my mom grinned. "How was his brother?"
"I enjoyed talking to him again. He got married to Annabeth and she's pregnant with twins." I said and she smiled. "Oh really? He's gonna have such beautiful babies, we're invited to the baby shower, right?"
"I certainly hope so." I said and Thomas frowned. "Who's Jonah?"
"My ex boyfriend of middle school who moved to Canada." I said. "Ah, how was Connor's grandpa?" He asked and I grinned. "I definitely do like him, he's a very nice guy."
"How was Connor?" Dean asked and I looked up at him. "Connor was fine, I think so at least. He and Benjamin went to a club one night and I can assure you that Ben had a lot of fun." I said, causing Dean to chuckle. "Idiot."
"He kinda is, they got drunk two days ago." I said and my mom gasped. "How drunk?"
"They didn't remember how much they drank." I said and my mom sighed. "Alright, at least they didn't overdose."
"They drank Eric's whiskey." I added and my mom's eyes widened. "Oh God."
"But, don't worry, he has a cellar full of it." I said and she shook her head. "Connor is not touching any alcohol when your family is coming tomorrow."
"Grandma, too?" I asked and she nodded, frowning. "Yeah?" I sighed and shook my head. "Just, she's gonna hate Connor, isn't she?" I asked and she bit her lip. "Yeah, of course, she hates everyone." She said. "She didn't hate Riley." I pointed out and my mom shrugged. "Well, she was fully Christian."
I puffed out some air and licked my lips. "Alright, I'm just gonna head to bed."
"Don't you want to eat something first?" Dean asked and I slowly shook my head. "I'm way too tired for that, thanks though."
As soon as my head hit the pillow I was fast asleep.
