A few weeks later

It was lunch and I was talking with Ethan, but my attention was drawn to Hamilton and his friends entering the cafeteria. Jane was holding his hand, but he really wasn't paying attention to her cause he was scanning the room. He gaze landed on me, I shot him a small smile and he winked before his attention got jerked towards Jane who pulled him in for a kiss causing everyone to go silent.

Connor didn't seem to like it and politely pushed her away a little to whisper something into her ear. I heard someone gasp and that person definitely got a glare from Jane. Connor cleared his throat. "What do y'all want, just carry on idiots." He shouted, so everyone did.

I rolled my eyes and Lucas walked up to my table, taking the chair next to me. "Hey." He said and planted a kiss on my cheek, my gaze was locked with Connor's and he licked his lips. I quickly removed my gaze before anyone could notice anything.

"Remember Katie, the girl from the party?" He asked and I nodded. "Yeah, I introduced you to her."

He nodded. "She's nice, I need to do a science project with her for half the marks." He said and I took a bite of my cupcake. "Oh, really?"

Just then a shadow hovered over our table, I looked up seeing Katie. "Can I sit with you?" She asked and I swallowed. "Yeah."

Lucas gave her a smile and started talking with her. "Oh shit." Ethan yelped. "Wh-"

Out of nowhere I felt a cold substance hit my head. My mouth fell open and I got up, facing the person that did this. "That's for flirting with my boyfriend." Jane said, crossing her arms. I cocked an eyebrow. "Sorry?"

"You know what I mean, bitch. Do you wanna meet my bad side?" She asked, flicking her hair. "Do you wanna meet my fist?" I asked and she looked shocked for a moment. "What's going on?" Hamilton asked, appearing next to Jane. "I simply told her to back off and then she threatened me."

Hamilton scanned me over. "Did you do that, dumping the iced coffee?" He asked Jane and she nodded. "I can't believe you, Jane. What were you thinking?"

"But-"

"Shut up already, come on Alli, we're gonna clean you up." He said, taking my hand and dragging me out of the cafeteria, all eyes on us. "Hey, hey, I have a spare shirt." Lucas said, following us. "Thanks." I said as he went for the locker room. "What did she want?" Connor asked.

"It was about the fact that she can't accept that we're friends." I said and he looked at me, sighing. "I'm sorry though. I'm gonna talk with her tonight."

I shook my head. "No, I mean, thanks and all, but I get her. I wouldn't like to see Lucas spend time with another girl that much."

"You think we spend too much time together?" He asked and I shrugged. "Maybe we do, I don't mind honestly."

"Then why do we bother caring about what she thinks?" He laughed and I swatted his arm. "She's your girlfriend, that's why. If she doesn't want us to hang out that much, maybe we shouldn't."

He shook his head. "Hell no, I like spending time with you, I'm not gonna distant from you because she wants it. We're a couple, that doesn't mean we share a whole life."

I softly smiled, patting his arm. "That was real sweet, England."

He rolled his eyes. "Fuck you." He said and his accent popped out now. "Here you go." Lucas said handing me his shirt. I walked into the restrooms and changed in my volley shorts and Lucas' shirt.

Luckily enough I had left Hamilton's hoodie in my locker, so that one didn't stain.

I walked back out, seeing Lucas and Connor just glaring at each other. "Break it already, you could just admit your feeling towards each other and date. I'll be gone." I joked and walked in between them. "Sorry?" Lucas said and narrowed his eyebrows. I placed my lips on his and he grinned in between the kiss.

Connor coughed behind me and I pulled away, but Lucas didn't see to want that as he pulled me closer by my hips.

After a few seconds, he finally pulled away. "Let's get back, shall we?" He said and I gave Connor an apologetic look. He just rolled his eyes and walked back into the cafeteria, Lucas and I followed him.

I looked around to see if Jane was anywhere near, I could see Connor shake his head at her, saying something. I sat back down, seeing that Ethan and Katie had cleaned the chair. "You're telling me you're not feisty? You were a bad bitch." Ethan grinned and I rolled my eyes.

I wasn't a bad bitch as he put it. I just don't like people who mess around and are full of themselves. Wait,  I take that back. I just didn't like the thought of Hamilton dating, even though I was the one telling him to do so. What the fuck am I saying?

Lucas put his hand on my thigh, I looked at Ethan. "She's just a filthy bitch." I said causing Katie to chuckle. "I mean, I'm sorry to say this, but he's fucked every girl at this school. If someone isn't trying to flirt with him, it's definitely not you. Even though, I've got to admit that I get it why she thinks it. You guys do seem close. And you can't deny the fact that he is attractive." She said and took a bite of her pizza.

I frowned. "You're right, I'm not trying to flirt with him and yeah, I guess we are getting close. Plus, I have an awesome boyfriend so why would I bother?" I completely dodged the attractive part, knowing Ethan would ask questions if I didn't.

Lucas gave me a grin and Ethan cracked his fingers. "So, Katie are you dating anyone?" He asked and she shook her head. "Nope."

"Have you dated?" He asked and she nodded. "Yeah, of course. Mostly girls, but I've had fun with boys too."

Ethan smirked and looked back at me. "Didn't you have fun with Hamilton, too?" He asked her. "Yeah, a few months back at a party." She said and looked at me. "You've never, huh?"

I shook my head in disgust. "Ew, no."

Lucas chuckled and kissed my cheek. "Well, I'm gonna catch up with the boys. I'll see you." I gave him a forced smile and Ethan cocked an eyebrow. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." I paused, seeing Hamilton leave, a disappointed look on his face. "I'm gonna head to my locker and get my stuff." I said, getting up and walked away.

I opened my locker and got my books for the next few classes, putting them in my bag. "Hey."

I yelped. "Fuck you, Con. you startled me." I said, putting my hand on my chest. "I'm sorry." He laughed and leaned against Ethan's locker. "So, you doing something tonight?"

I frowned. "Weren't you and Jane gonna hang out?"

He shrugged. "Yeah, but I cancelled." He gave me a grin and I rolled my eyes. "You're literally turning down sex, what happened to you, Newcastle?"

He got a kinda sad look on his face, but that quickly turned back to the smirk before I could notice anything more. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, so tonight?" He asked and I shook my head. "I have practice."

"Okay, so?"

"I don't know when we're gonna finish." I said and he bit the inside of his cheek. "Okay, I'll watch."

"What? No." I yelped and he already had started walking off. "Hamilton!" I shouted and he put his hands up. "I've always wanted to see you play volley."

I groaned and put my head against the locker. "Jackass."

"That's me." Ethan said and I turned my head to face him, still against the locker. "I hate him."

"Connor? No, stop saying that. You guys are friends. You are literally a match made in heaven." He said and I straightened my body. "No way."

He was so wrong.
