English weather is more changeable than my mood, IF YOU'RE GONNA RAIN JUST RAIN!!

Sorry rant over... here's a good ole chapter for ya :)

My life had never felt so complete. Having Ant around, even if I couldn't tell my parents about us yet, was incredible. He made me feel special and loved, I got a warm feeling in my tummy every time we were together, every time we kissed or touched.

That morning, before school, had been a little hectic but we felt like a family- a feeling I could tell Ant secretly enjoyed, for him it was a sense of normality.

The night before, he'd snuck into my room so we could cuddle and maybe make out a little. We had done that a couple of times because in the morning Ant would just go back into his room without anyone seeing, we locked the door anyway just in case. What we didn't anticipate though was my mam trying to walk into my room at 6 o'clock in the morning to grab my washing.

I didn't wake up immediately to the bang that came from my Mam knocking on my door but Ant, alert as always, was instantly on his feet. I woke when my head hit the pillow instead of the warmth and comfort of his strong chest.

Me Mam shouted to get the door open and up ready for school all the while Ant pulled on a T-shirt. When she suggested she'd do Ant's washing first my heart plummeted to my stomach. I shoved Ant into my wardrobe and skidded over to the door opening it up just as Mam was turning away.

The look she gave me was the exact same one she'd use when I used to tell her I hadn't stolen biscuits from the biscuit tin. The suspicious women walked into my room and took a good look around before picking up my laundry, I winced when she picked up Ants socks but luckily, she didn't notice the difference. While she was occupied Ant crept out of the wardrobe and sneaked all stealth like out the door and into his room.

An accidental burst of laughter came from my lips at his comical over-exaggerated tip toeing but stifled it with an unconvincing cough. I grinned at my mother as she walked out the room, still giving me a funny look.

Other than it being my near death experience of the morning, it also meant that I both me and Ant were barely ready in time for school, made worse by the fact that both of us had to help Mam take out all of the food and drink to the car, for the party/gathering tonight at the Tyneside Irish centre. By the time we actually ended up leaving the house we only had 4minutes to complete a 15minute walk. Fat chance.

Even when Ant pulled his bike from the side of the house and drove us there were we still late. I can happily say I'd never had a detention until then. We walked in through the gate and straight into the intimidating glare of the headmaster. First of all he turned to Ant....

"McPartlin you're late. That's a Detention after school." He said whilst looking at my position tucked under the taller boy's arm with disgust. I didn't know what his problems was but I didn't care... I liked being there it made me feel like he was staking his claim on me and I felt protected.

Ant just shrugged nonchalantly and began guided me around the disgruntled teacher. I looked from Ant to the head and back again, before spinning out from under his arm.

"Wait why'd you just give him a detention? We were both late you can't just pick on someone."

"I can and I will Mr Donnelly, one more word out of you and both you and you're boyfriend will be in detention for the next week." He spat the word boyfriend with malice making me angrier than before.

"Bite me you bully." The head just shock his head with a sigh before walking to come right up into Ants (who'd been watching the whole thing, arms folded with a smile of amusement) personal space.
