Chapter 6: Training Time!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After that, Blaise didn't attempt to punch the tree again and continued his training as usual; he also put his gloves back on, promising to never take them off unless necessary Perhaps training like this was easier than punching trees and having to endure the immense pain from his fist, especially from his knuckles.
Autumn sighed at how weak Blaise truly was. Blaise was acting like every single human; they give up too easily, well, most of them.
"You know, you shouldn't give up taking down that tree. Even if it'sss hard, you should at leassst not give up." Autumn encouraged.
"Shut up! That tree is as hard as a rock!" Blaise barked.
"You did manage to make an impact on the tree. Sssay, what did you do on 'Earth' to get you at leassst that ssstrong?" Autumn asked.
"Baseball," Blaise replied before dodging Zephania's Water Blast.
"What'sss bassseball?" Autumn asked.
"According to the humans on Earth, baseball is an outdoor sports activity that consists of the items of a bat, a ball, and gloves. You basically hit the ball from the one who throws it and run to the first base. There are four bases, forming a diamond If you reach the fourth square, which is the home base, you get a point," Zephania explained.
"Basically what he said. Why?" Blaise asked.
"What are the batssss, ballssss, and glovesss for?" Autumn asked.
"The bats are used for hitting the balls, the balls are used to be thrown at the person so that the person who has the bat can hit the ball to score a point, and the gloves are used to catch the ball," Blaise explained.
"Wow. You can actually explain sssomething." Autumn said.
Blaise growled before placing his right palm in front of him, facing towards Autumn. "Fire Technique: Fire Blast!"
Fire came out of the red circle Blaise had summoned. This time, the Fire Blast was a little bigger than the last time he used it properly.
Autumn only stared at the Fire Blast Blaise had released. "Well... at leassst I helped him improve hisss Fire Blassst...?"
"Ah! I did it! I made it a little bigger! Did you see it, Gramps!?" Blaise exclaimed.
Zephania nodded. "Perhaps maybe annoyance can improve his Fire Blast but... that's kind of dumb..."
"Let's rest for now. It's evening and with your training during the early morning and that wound I healed, it would be best to regain your stamina supply." Zephania said.
"Kay. I'm already tired anyway." Blaise yawned.
Blaise began walking back to their little campsite.
"With thisss progressssssss, Guardian Hayesss won't be able to have enough time to obtain it," Autumn said.
"It'll be fine. I'll somehow force him into doing punch the tree." Zephania said.
"How ssso?" Autumn asked.
"You'll see."
On the next day, Zephania had prepared a 'fun' event. Blaise thought about training and tried his best to remove the thought of punching that tree ever again. Autumn was rather curious of Zephania's intentions since he had always had a mysterious aura around him.
