Chapter 5.2: Blue's Facade

Chapter 5: To the Island of True Fire!

Autumn had awoken and was greeted by Blue. Autumn and Blue got along as the four began traveling upward. Traveling upwards meant that they were now leaving the Deep Level, but not too close to leave the Deep Level.

Blaise had begun to fall asleep. They weren't able to tell time due to being underwater. Zephania used his ability 'Air Technique: Air Bubble' which formed a bubble and trapped Blaise inside of it. With that, Blaise fell asleep inside the bubble with no issues.

Reaching near the surface of the Deep Level, Blue had stopped them.

"Guys, wait," Blue said.

Zephania and Autumn stopped walking in their tracks., looking at Blue.

"What isss it, Blue?" Autumn asked.

"Thank you for bringin' me along with ya, but allow me to bring somethin'," Blue replied.

Blue turned around and stopped whipping his tail side to side. Autumn and Zephania watched Blue's black aura grow darker.

Blue let out a chuckle and turned around facing them. "You fools! How could you believe and take me in so easily!"

"I felt like it. Plus, it wouldn't hurt bringing company along," Zephania casually replied.

"How dare you speak to me in such an impolite manner, you old man!" Blue angrily yelled.

"Shut up, you damn shark. You're annoying. Now shoo. We have an island to attend to." Autumn yawned.

Blue bit his sharp teeth with his all of his might, breaking one of his sharpest teeth. "Attack!"

Small Deep Sharks swam from behind Blue and to the companions. Autumn slithered onto Zephania's shoulder as Zephania released Blaise from the Air Bubble. The small Deep Sharks poked onto Zephania's Air Technique: Open Straight.

Zephania gently shook Blaise's shoulder with his left hand. "Blaise, wake up."

Blaise groaned as he gently pushed Zephania away. Autumn groaned in annoyance since their situation wasn't good. Slithering onto Blaise's exposed left arm, Autumn bit into Blaise's arm, but not too deep.

Blaise's eyes immediately opened as he threw Autumn off. Zephania caught Autumn as Autumn licked the blood off of his fangs.

"What was that for Autumn!?" Blaise exclaimed.

Autumn simply replied, "You wouldn't wake up ssso I had to take care of it myssself."

"That doesn't mean you had to bite me!" Blaise yelled, holding onto his left arm.

"Well, at leassst I didn't bite deep enough. Besssidessss, Z can heal your 'painful' wound after thissss". Autumn said.

"After this?" Blaise asked.

"Look around you," Autumn said.

Blaise looked around him and saw Blue with a menacing expression. He also saw small Deep Sharks who were attempting to break into the Open Straight. Realization hit him when he remembered Blue.

"Blue! Deep Sharks are attacking us! Help us!" Blaise said.

Blue chuckled and replied, "How naive of you to think of me that way, foolish boy. These Deep Sharks are apart of my group and they're hungry. You three are simply here to be eaten."
