**Author's Note!**

Okay, don't kill me! So, I'm sorry I've been switching story lines inconsistently, and haven't given you guys much notice about it. On the bright side this should be the second to last chapter that does this! So this chapter takes place just after Chapter 14, ie, just after Yurio and Otabek pick up Potya.

PS, I'm writing this after I finished this chapter, this takes the prize for longest one yet, 2409 words! That's crazy! Anyway, Enjoy!

Yurio's POV 1st Person Omniscient

I unlock the door and Potya jumps from my shoulder onto the carpet of our apartment. Otabek shuts the door behind the three of us, yes the cat is included, and joins my gaze at Potya, who seems thoroughly confused. I can just see the cogs in her head turning, where's all the shit that's normally on the ground? I laugh at her as she inspects every inch of the apartment, following as she makes her way through every room. Once she reaches the final stop on her re-acclimation tour, my bedroom, she hops up on the bed and meows, irritated.

"What?" I ask, staring at the cat, "It's clean now I know," she stares at me, unblinkingly, as if saying, no you stupid human, guess again!  "Ohhh, does the bed not smell like me anymore?" I ask her, she blinks. I look over my shoulder and see Otabek in the kitchen with a glass of water. "That's Otabek, you him met earlier, you liked him." I say, "He slept in my bed last night." As I finish my explanation, I swear to god, if it were possible, she raises her eyebrow, looking at me with a mix of disdain and incredulity on her face. "I wasn't in it!" I justify quickly, "I slept on the couch... Otabek's gonna be staying with us for awhile." I say softly. She meows, as if giving consent, and hops onto my shoulder. I give her a ride back into the kitchen, and remove her food bowl from the cup board. It's leopard print and has rhinestones glued sloppily to the front by nine year old me that read POTYA. I fill the bowl, and place it in the corner next to her already filled water dish. She looks approvingly at me and begins to eat. I sit down across from Otabek. "So," I start awkwardly, "What do you think?" He looks over at her, eating quietly,

"Well, I'm not good with cats." He says, and adds, "But she seems okay." I smile, relieved. I glance at the clock overhead, 1:47 pm,

"So, what do you want to do today?" I ask him hesitantly, "We should probably cover the basics first, get you a key to the door, and a key card to outside, and um, a bed, for the spare room I mean." I say, a blush forming on my face at the last part.

"I don't want you to go to all that trouble," Otabek says slowly, "I mean, I don't know how long I'll be staying. You know, before I get my own place, I don't want to intrude."

"You wouldn't be!" I say quickly, "I mean, even if you're not staying... forever," I want you to, "I should probably have the essentials for the room anyway, like if Grandpa comes to stay or something, it already has a dresser and everything, just, not a bed." I say, muttering the last part. "Plus I'd hate to be," I search for the right word, "Inhospitable." I finish, looking at Otabek, searching for a sign of discontentment or a desire to leave. Neither appear. He's probably just being nice. I reason, Who'd want to live with me, for more than a few weeks, I mean! I mentally clarify, correcting my nonverbal wording mistake.

"Okay. I guess that would be fine." Otabek says, "We should probably do the key card thing first though right?"

"Yeah," I confirm, "The paperwork's downstairs. I'll grab it." It takes about half an hour of temporary liability, and damage loss suits, but we finally get the form done and handed in to the landlord, who tells us that it'll take about four days for the key card to arrive. With the first item on our agenda crossed off we face the key situation. "The mall." I say, seemingly randomly.
