As Sara began to stir awake. She opened her eyes to the smell of breakfast being cooked. A small smile formed. Sara reached for her robe, wrapping it around her and tying it, before making her way downstairs into the kitchen where Leo was.

As he heard footsteps, Leo turned to see Sara. Giving a smile as she approached over to him. Her right cheek rested on his upper arm, peeking to see what he was cooking. "What are you making?" She asked. "Hey.. I was going to surprise you and bring breakfast to you upstairs in bed." He smirked a bit. Sara couldn't help but form a grin. It was something she recalled, they had never done before. "I'm sorry.. I didn't mean to ruin your surprise." Leo shook his head waving it off. "It's okay. And.. You didn't ruin anything." Leo slipped his free arm around Sara while he used the spatula with his other hand to flip the eggs. "How does omelets sound?" He asked.

Sara couldn't help but keep the smile on her face. This was how she remembered things between them. It almost was starting to feel like old times. "Sounds perfect to me." She said, her voice a whisper as she slipped her arms around Leo from behind him. Her head rested on his back. Leo smiled feeling Sara's arms slip around him. Then turned around, wrapping his arms around her in return. Her head now rested against his chest.

"I love you, Sara." He whispered. Sara's eyes closed, feeling comfortable and safe in Leo's arms. "I love you too Leo." She whispered back. She smiled feeling him giving her a kiss on the forehead. The two of them stood there in silence for a few seconds. Leo wished he could stay like that for a moment longer. But he couldn't or the eggs would burn. So he turned back around so he could finish getting the omelets ready. "What would you like with your omelet?" He asked. "Oh.. I can help get those ready." She said. Heading towards the fridge to grab what she wanted to be put in her omelet. "What about you?" She asked, looking over at him. "I'm fine with whatever you have." He looked back over at her. Sara nodded before bringing the ingredients over to Leo so he could get the ham mixed into the omelet.

"So.. Are there any plans for the day? How long do you think before Abby and Lisa come back from their friend's place?" Sara looked up at Leo after she sat in the chair at the table across from him. A small smirk forming. "Thinking of continuing where we left off last night?" She teased. Leo couldn't help but smirk back. Before letting a laugh slip out.

"Oh.. I certainly missed you Sara." He winked. "Actually.. I was sort of hoping we could do something I know we haven't done in a long time. That we used to do." Sara smiled, knowing what Leo meant. "The last time we played cards.. I beat you by one round. Are you saying you want a rematch mister Snart?" Leo's smirk stayed on his face at Sara's words. "Perhaps.. Misses Snart.." Sara chuckled. "Challenge accepted. I hope you remember I don't back down on many challenges and I don't like to lose."

Leo laughed. "Oh.. I remember very well." The two of them went quiet a moment as they began eating their breakfast. Before Leo spoke up again. "I was thinking.. What if.. We take the girls and go on a small vacation somewhere. Anywhere they want to go." Sara looked up at Leo. Raising her eye a bit. It had been a long time since they'd gone anywhere. Since they were trying to stop the time bureau from killing Leo. Because they thought he was an anachronism. And that wasn't exactly considered a vacation. Because they couldn't enjoy themselves. But this time, they actually could. "I think that would be a great idea. When they come home later. We can talk to both of them. And we can decide where we would all like to go."

Leo smiled. "Perhaps we can go on one of the school breaks. So they don't miss any school. And hopefully.. By all that time.. We will have figured all this out." Leo suggested. Sara nodded. "I think that would be wise. That way, we won't have to worry about anything while on vacation. We can just relax. And not fear of anyone coming after us." Leo nodded. Then the two of them went back to finish their breakfast.
