"Son of a bitch!" Mick muttered under his breath. Snart smirked a bit hearing Mick's words. "Actually, I prefer to be called Captain Cold." Mick glared. "You're not captain cold. Just a cheap ass ditzy version." He hissed. Leonard raised his eye a bit. "Are you sure about that?" He asked, pulling out his cold gun. Mick stared at the gun. It definitely looked like an updated version of the one his Leo had. Hearing the familiar sound of the gun being ready to get fired. Mick quickly pulled Sara behind him.
"Isn't that sweet." Leonard sneered. "You've grown too soft Mick." Mick eyed the doppleganger closely. "How's this for soft." He spat back reaching for his heat gun. He then aimed it towards the other ready to fire. "You don't really want to do that to your old partner in crime do you?" Leo gasped placing his hand over his heart. "I feel hurt." He stated in a sarcastic tone. "But not as much as you will be." Leonard geared up his gun again and pulled the trigger, to send a blast of snow towards the two.
As Mick heard Sara's screams, he quickly pulled both of them out of the way just in time as the mount of snow came blasting towards them. "You go see if you can find Leo!" Mick growled at Sara. While he was still hovering over her so they wouldn't be blasted by the snow. "I'll take care of him!" Sara looked a bit unsure about leaving Mick to deal with this Leonard alone. But seeing Mick nod his head, she took off running.
Leonard glared, watching as Sara took off, then turned back on Mick. He was hoping Sara would be able to find and rescue Leo. While he distracted his doppleganger. Leonard laughed. "She's never going to find him without me.." "You are underestimating Sara.." Mick stated. "Why are you doing this?" Mick asked. Hoping Leo would take the bait and tell the story. Mick hoped it would be long enough for Sara to get to Leo and get out. They had a signal for when they were in the clear and out of the way. So Mick could take out this earth's Leo. Sara managed to get the device from Mick before she left to find her husband. The two of them already having a plan in motion.
He rolled his eyes. "Why do you think Mick.. Because I can. I'm Captain Cold. I can do anything." "Come on Snart.. Even if you're not my Leo. I know you. I know how he used to be. He never did anything without purpose. Nobody ever comes after someone on revenge just because they can.. Surely there's a reason.." Leonard studied Mick close a moment. Looking a bit hesitant to explain. He knew Mick was trying to distract him. But Leonard decided he'd let them think he took the bait for now. So he finally began explaining...
While Mick was keeping Leonard distracted. Sara finally came across the location she thought he was at. However, it would be tricky getting in. Knowing how the old Leo was. Who her husband used to be. She figured this earth's Leo would behave some similarities. Sara began to form a plan to sneak her way into the building...
Just as Leo was waking up. He could hear voices talking. His vision was blurry so he didn't know where he was at first. But he knew he wasn't back at home. The last thing he remembered was him sitting on the porch with Sara. They were discussing options of what was going on with him. When he left Sara to go to work, someone had come up behind and knocked him out.
The hell? He thought. Once his vision became a bit more clear. He noticed the familiar surroundings. But he didn't recognize any of the voices whispering nearby. Once his vision became clearer. Leo turned his head to see if he could see where the voices were coming from, and who they were. But they were hiding. Leo suddenly became nervous. Whoever knocked him out from behind was after him. Which meant they probably had Sara too. He needed to get out of there.
Since the voices were busy. Leo tried to fidget his hands to get them loose from the rope that was tied around his wrist to keep him to the chair. Son of a bitch. Suddenly Leo felt something hard clash against the back of his head. "Uh uh.. I don't think so buddy." Leo growled a bit looking up to see who the person was that approached him. "The boss won't be very happy if you got away now would he? And you'd only be jeopardizing your family if you did that. I'm sure you don't want anything to happen to them do you? So I'd behave and stay put." The man hissed. Leo looked up giving the man a glare. He didn't recognize him, and he was rather confused about what was going on. He didn't know why he had so many blank memories of what happened. One minute he was finding a present for his daughter's birthday. Then the next he was here. WIth these men half the time. Bits and pieces were suddenly coming back of why he was having blank moments. Someone swiped his memories. Not wanting him to know who they were. Which made Leo nervous. And he wanted to know why. Some moments were coming back to him. But the figure of who was after him was still blurry.
"I don't take orders from anyone." Leo spat back. The man smirked. Keeping his position so he was eye level. "Alright.. But it's your family's head. And I thought you didn't do anything foolish that would get them killed. Looks like you're proving me wrong." Leo kept his glare. He couldn't do anything to the man except going back and forth battling words. Because both his hands and feet were tied to the chair so he couldn't get free. Since Leo's back was facing the entrance. He didn't know Sara was making her way towards him.
Leo was about to respond back to the man when he heard some commotion coming from behind him. His eyes moved to the side to see who he could see was rescuing him. Leo assumed it was the legends team. Until the man's voice spoke. Leo noticed the smirk on the other's face. "How did I know you'd be the one to come here and rescue your damsel in distress?' Leo glared at the man's words. "Let him go." The voice commanded. He could hear the voice quiver with some nerves. Sara. Leo showed fear in his eyes hearing her voice. He knew Sara could handle her own, but it'd been awhile since they were in the field. He knew the last time they crossed paths, her bloodlust was a bit high because she hadn't had any missions recently to help subdue it. Sara managed to control it with him around however, since she didn't want to go overboard and have the girls see her in such a state. Now that she was here though, Leo didn't think it was wise to let her come. Too many things could trigger.
Hearing Sara and the man talk, Leo was even more anxious to break free. While Sara kept the man distracted, he continued to fidget his hands to loosen the rope. Leo kept his watch on them as the man and Sara began to fight. Kicking the leg of the chair angrily with his foot when he saw the man send a punch towards Sara's face. "Get away from her you son of a bitch!" He yelled out.
Just as the man sent a punch towards Sara, Mick came up from behind where the entrance was. And quickly headed towards the man. Pulling him back and away from Sara. Pinning him towards the wall. Glaring him straight in the eyes. Sara had been cornered and was kicking at the man to get him to back away as Mick pulled him back. She took a deep breath once she had some breathing room. Seeing Mick had the other man occupied, and Sara took the rest of the men out. She was free to rush towards her husband to help him.
"Sara.. You shouldn't have come!" He stated quickly as she began to quickly untie the rope from his hand. Sara glanced up at Leo. "Of course I should've. I'm not leaving you behind!" "Sara look out!" Mick growled, seeing Leo's doppleganger making his entrance. Sara looked up letting out a gasp as she saw the other Leo coming towards them. His gun aimed at them. As Mick could hear him firing the gun, he once again rushed over to knock Sara out of the way. Sara looked up terrified to see the doppleganger pulling the trigger. "No! Snart!" She cried out. Mick managed to use his muscle strength to drag the chair Leo was sitting and tied to knocked down so they once again barely missed the blast of snow coming at them that would've frozen Sara and Leo.
"You need to get out of here! Leo and I have this covered!" Sara shook her head. "No.. I'm helping! He's my husband!" She snapped. Leo grunted feeling the chair he was in tip over from Mick's weight. Then felt his head thump against the floor from the force. Sara began crawling towards Leo, placing a hand on his arm.
Leo fluttered his eyes open after the crash to the ground. Looking directly at Sara. He was surprised to see fear in her eyes. "You need to leave. Please.. Mick and I will be fine.. I promise.." He whispered. Leo closed his eyes feeling Sara's hand rest gently against his cheek. Leo didn't think Sara would listen. She was just as stubborn as he was when it came to making her do things. So there was a surprised look on his face when Sara quickly got up and took off at a run.
As Sara began to take off, Leonard turned to aim the gun at her. "Let her go!" She heard Leo growl as they heard the familiar firing up of the cold gun. "You have me. That's who you really want." "Go after her!" Leonard spat at the man. Walking around and over to face Leo so he could see who he was. Though he already knew who was after him now, hearing the all too cold familiar voice. "No!" Leo yelled. Hearing the man's footsteps take off after Sara.
The last thing Leo saw was Mick rush after the man. Then heard his heat gun fire up before Mick sent a blast of fire at the man going after Sara. Then heard the man's screams from the heat. As Leo saw his look alike appear in his vision finally. He gave the man a glare. "That wasn't very wise for you to do now was it?" Leonard said in a cold tone.
Leo took a deep breath. "I'll stay here.. But please leave her alone." He muttered. Leonard laughed. "You and your partner are both weak." He hissed. "I tell you what. I have a better Idea.."
