After Sara rushed out of the building, and used the device to get herself back to their earth. She headed directly towards the waverider where the team had Abby and Lisa. The three of them stayed there for safety. In case their Leo didn't make it back and the doppleganger tried making his way there instead. "I'm sorry captain. I couldn't read that he wasn't who he was. Usually I can detect such. But mr. Snart must've managed to somehow block the securities so I couldn't read through them." Gideon piped up as soon as Sara made her way onto the ship.
"Gideon.. It's not your fault. People have snuck through the breach before." Stein commented before wandering to Sara's old room where she was with the girls. Wanting to check how they were doing. He could see there was fear in Sara's eyes. Mick and Leo should've made it back by now. Martin already had Ray on the security system to get it rebooted. So when Leo did show back up. They'd be able to tell if it was him or the doppleganger.
Martin stood in front of the entrance of Sara's room. Leaning his back against the wall, crossing his arms across his chest. "Hey.. Doing okay here?" He asked. Sara looked up giving a nod of her head. "We're alright." She responded. Though Martin knew otherwise. "Is there anything I can do?' Sara shook her head. "No no.. You've done plenty. Thank you.." Martin looked a bit unsure. But figured right now Sara just wanted to be left alone with her girls. "Let me know if you change your mind." "I will, thank you.. Again.." Sara said as Martin took his exit again.
"Daddy and uncle Mick will come back right?" Lisa squeaked out after there'd been silence for awhile. Sara looked at her youngest daughter taking a deep breath. "Of course they will." She smiled. Trying to reassure Lisa and Abby. "Why don't we play some poker?" Abby suggested to Lisa. Lisa nodded. "Alright.. Can I come with you to get the cards?" She asked. Abby smiled at her sister. "Of course. Come on.." Sara sighed seeing the girls take their exit. She knew they needed the comfort too. But Sara was glad when Abby suggested an activity for Lisa. All Sara wanted to do was be left alone. Once she knew the girls were gone. She leaned her back against the wall and buried her face in her hands, feeling tears starting to fall. Please let them come back. Let him come back. She pleaded in her mind. Sara quickly wiped the tears away knowing there wasn't much time before the girls would be returning.
"Sara.." Sara pulled her head up hearing the familiar voice. She took a deep breath seeing his figure standing at the entrance. At first there was hesitation to get up and rush to him. For a split second, Sara was afraid this was the doppleganger, and not her Leo. "It's really me." Leo smiled a little stepping into Sara's room. Sara bit her lip. She hated being so leery and ruining the reunion if this really was her Leo. But she had to be sure. "Tell me something only this earth's Leo would know.." She said in a quiet tone.
Leo was about to speak when there was the sound of some footsteps coming around the corner. "Daddy!" Lisa called out. Sara's body stiffened as Lisa rushed into Leo's arms. She watched as Leo leaned forward to pick up Lisa and hug her tight. A few seconds later seeing Abby running into his arms. Witnessing this, Sara loosened up a little bit. She knew their Leo would never hurt them or threaten them. And also knew sometimes kids could sense certain things. So if Lisa thought he was safe.. Since she was usually the cautious one.. Then Sara thought he must be the real one. But the doppleganger played the part well. Leo glanced back at his wife after giving his two daughters hugs. "I was out cold most of that time in the warehouse. I'm not sure what information my doppleganger was able to pick up." He was ready to say something until his eyes wandered over to their daughters. "I have some gifts for you two waiting in the main room of the waverider..."
Sara looked leery about the girls opening the gifts from Leo. At least until she knew it was really Leo. "I can vouch that this is your Leo mrs. Snart. The other blocked my security breach. But mr. Palmer fixed it. This one's safe." Gideon piped up. Sara ran a hand through her hair. Keeping her eye on Leo. "He could've forced you to say that." Sara added.
