Sara's face turned pale at Leo's question.  She took a deep breath closing her eyes.  Her breathing became heavy seeing Leo's reaction.  And it reminded her close to how the other Leo acted.  Which had Sara concerned.  That her husband never made it back.  She worried that this was still the doppleganger.  And he was still trying to fool them.  Even fooling Lisa.  Which just like Sara, she was usually good at reading people.  She was able to tell who was good and who to stay away from.

"Look..  Leo..  You have to know..  I planned to tell you..  I was.."  Leo's eyes flashed only for a moment.  His anger creeping in at the mere thought it could've been his doppleganger's and not his.  Perhaps this was why Sara isn't telling me.  Seeing Sara's reaction to his anger however, made Leo calm a bit.  Watching as she backed away seeing his expression.

Leo took a deep breath closing his eyes a moment then opened them again looking Sara directly in the eyes.  He slowly took a step towards Sara.  "What did he do to you?"  He asked in a more calm voice.  Sara swallowed.  Shaking her head.  "Nothing..  He didn't do anything.  Except mess with my mind.  Pretending to be you..  I'm..  I'm not even sure what was all real anymore and what wasn't."  She muttered.

"What do you mean?"  He asked, trying to  remain calm.  Leo watched as a tear slipped down Sara's cheek.  "I mean all of it.  Us meeting on the ship..  The wedding..  The kids.."  Each event she listed, Sara's voice became more quiet.  Leo stepped closer towards Sara, slowly reaching his hand to place over hers, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"Hey..  That was all me.  All of that was real..  The wedding..  All of it.  They just learned last year that the breach opened to other universes.  When Barry tried going back in time to save his mom..  It was shortly after we returned from the mission to save Abby."  Leo explained.  Sara took another deep breath and nodded.  Seeing the tears coming down her cheeks, Leo slipped his arms around Sara pulling her close to him.

"I tried to get out of there.  I did.."  He whispered.  "I didn't know who or what it was.."  He muttered, hugging Sara tighter.  "What if.."  She whispered back.  But her sentence stalled.  Sara didn't know if she could finish the question.  Leo though knew what Sara was asking.  He hated the idea of this child being his doppleganger's.  But he wasn't going to leave Sara.  He couldn't.  "Leo..  I'm sorry."  She choked out.  "I should've known.."

Leo held her tighter towards him.  "Hey..  You're not to blame..  If..  If it's not."  He closed his eyes saying those words.  He wasn't sure if he could really handle the child not being his.  But Leo had to stay for Sara and their daughters.  He couldn't just up and leave them now.  Besides..  He couldn't completely blame Sara.  It was his doppleganger.  He fooled a lot of people.

Leo felt Sara's arms slip around his neck and her head rest against his chest.  He took a few deep breaths closing his eyes feeling her close to him.  "I wanted to tell you..  I wasn't keeping this a secret because I thought.."  Sara's sentences were still broken.  "I wanted to find a fun way to tell you.  And hope we could've gotten past the thought of it..  Not being yours.."  Sara hated saying those words.  Lisa had picked up her ability to read people from Sara.  Sara should've known right away Leo wasn't really Leo.  But she hadn't.  He'd manage to trick even her.

"Of course we can."  Leo said giving Sara a small smile as he reached his hand up to swipe some tears from her cheek.  Sara kept her eyes on her husband's to see if she could read his expression otherwise.  But with not being in the field for a while.  It seemed her senses and abilities were getting a bit slow at reflexes.  Not to mention, his doppleganger confused her.  It was hard for Sara to realize what was fake and what was real anymore.  She should've been able to tell the difference between Leo and Leonard.  Sara managed a small smile at Leo's answer.  But she wasn't one hundred percent convinced.  After all, if it had been reversed.  Sara wasn't quite sure how she'd feel if her doppleganger managed to sleep with her husband.  Though Leo wouldn't have been able to know the difference.  Just as she didn't.  She wasn't sure she'd be as forgiving as Leo appeared to be.

"Do you think once I'm further along..  We will be able to tell if it's really his..  Or yours?"  Sara asked.  Her voice quaked a bit as she was nervous about the question.  She didn't want to keep rubbing it in his face that this might not really be his baby.  Leo took a deep breath.  "I'm not sure.  Though we are dopplegangers.  There's different behaviors.  I don't really know how that works.  But we will get it figured out one way or the other.  And..  Should things turn out..  We will just keep it a secret from the girls.."  Sara nodded but still looked reluctant.  The girls may be a bit young to understand things.  But they were aware of what went on.  WIth their father's doppleganger.  And with Sara showing up pregnant.  Shortly after..  She was sure Abby and Lisa would be curious too once they learned Sara was expecting.  And most likely would have the same exact thoughts as her and Leo.

"For now..  We won't worry about that..  We will cross that bridge when we get there."  Leo said quietly."  Leo wasn't sure he could continue this discussion with Sara.  But he couldn't leave her and the girls either.  If this wasn't really his kid.  His doppleganger sure as hell knew how to stir up trouble.  Though Leo wasn't sure what he was thinking right now.  He couldn't have Sara worried further.  So for now, he told her what she wanted and needed.

"You know no matter what I'll always love you right?"  Leo whispered.  Seeing the look on Sara's face.  He could see there were still some doubts in her eyes.  And she was deciphering herself whether to believe Leo or not.  Leonard had done a great number on Sara.  So he thought it was a good idea for now, not to let her get worked up since she was expecting.  And try to be as supportive to her and convincing as he could to her.

Sara closed her eyes feeling Leo wrap his arms around her again pulling her in for a hug.  "I know."  She whispered.  Or at least she hoped she knew.
