"Gideon.. Is there any way we can know what's going on with Leonard Snart?" Mick asked once he had gotten back on the ship. "I'm afraid not mister Rory." Mick sighed. "You're no use." He mumbled. Feeling annoyed. He was concerned for his partner after Lisa's accusation. There was no way though he could follow his partner twenty four seven. Not without somehow Leo finding out.
"By the way, we have a guest.." Mick raised his eye then wandered over to the camera so he could see what was going on outside. By the way Gideon stated, he thought it was an intruder. So he was surprised when he saw Lisa standing right in front of the ship. It was cloaked of course. But she knew where it was. As Mick told her the coordinates. Which had him suddenly worried. He told Lisa where they would be. If there was any trouble. And she needed his help. Mick told her he would be sticking around for awhile. Make sure things were being run smoothly.
"Let her in." He commanded. "You know mister Rory. You really shouldn't of told her of our whereabouts." Gideon reminded him. Mick glared though Gideon couldn't see. "Shove It metal mouth. Besides, it's Lisa. She isn't an enemy." He said in a gruff voice. Gideon sighed as she heard Mick's old nickname. "I am only concerned for her well being. This can be a dangerous place. Enemies can find us at any given minute. Or we could be called to leave for a mission. And may have no choice to leave but with her on the ship." Gideon reminded him.
"Yeah yeah just open the damned door." He grumbled. "I hate to annoy you even more mister Rory.." Gideon began before Mick cut her off. "Then I suggest you don't." He growled. "But might I suggest you refrain saying such obscenities in front of a child?" Mick rolled his eyes. "Of course you'll go ahead and say it anyways. Damn isn't that bad of a word. Just open the door already!" He said again becoming impatient. Without another word. Gideon did as she was told, allowing Lisa to come inside. "About time." He mumbled. Remembering to leave out the swear word as Lisa was walking up into the ship.
"Uncle Rory!" She exclaimed as she approached him. And gave him a hug. Mick made an umph sound as he felt her crash into him with the hug. He still had to get used to that. He grinned a bit as he glanced down at her. "Hello kiddo. Is everything going okay?" He asked.
Lisa stepped back to look up at him. "Everything is fine. I wanted to come see this ship for myself." She said. Mick raised his eye. "That's a little risky don't you think? Your dad is already going to be suspicious of me for asking him. He's going to be watching me like a hawk. He's not going to like you coming here. It could be dangerous." Mick reminded her. Lisa bit her lip. "I know but I wanted to come see you. I miss you."
Mick finally gave her a small smile. "I only saw you a few moments ago. You can't have missed me already could you?" He asked slightly teasing. Lisa grinned. Giggling a bit. "Yes!" She teased back though she also meant it. Mick chuckled at her reaction. "Why are you really here Lisa?" He asked.
Lisa sighed. "I should've known I couldn't trick you. But you know I do really miss you!" She squeaked out. Mick smirked as he crossed his arms across his chest. "Mmmhmm." "I wanted to come and ask what you found out." She asked.
Mick scanned the room. The other team members for now were in their compartments. But they could come out at any given minute. And though he trusted them. He didn't want any of them accidentally overhearing their conversation. Especially since none of them were ever any good at keeping secrets. Mick nodded. "Let's head to my compartment and we can talk there." He suggested. Lisa nodded. "Okay." She followed Mick as he made his way down the hall to his room.
Once they reached inside the compartment and Mick closed the doors. He turned to look at Lisa. "He got super angry when he was accused of going back to his old ways." Mick stated. Lisa bit her lip and Mick could see she looked nervous. "Is daddy going to be mad at me?" She asked. Mick narrowed his eyes before placing his hand gently on her shoulder. "Of course not. He doesn't know you have any clue. I told him I suspected because I saw him." Lisa shook her head. "But I don't want him angry at you either. You two are supposed to be friends."
Mick smiled giving Lisa's shoulder a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry. We are still friends. He claimed it was possibly the theory of someone looking like him to frame him." Mick left out the doppleganger theory as he wasn't sure how much Leonard told Lisa about the other earths and their dangers. He very well knew Abby was aware of them. He just wasn't sure of Lisa.
Lisa studied Mick as she heard his theory. Tilting her head a little. "I mean.. I guess that could be.." She said slowly. "But why would someone want to frame my father?" She asked.
Mick shook his head. "I don't know. With your father's past. It could be anything." Mick was aware Lisa knew of his old ways. It was why she got upset when she saw Leo coming out of the building. Looking like he was robbing the bank. "I want to help you find out.." She said, though she already knew what Mick's answer would be.
"No! Absolutely not!" Lisa sighed. "But uncle Mick!" She whined. Mick held up his hand waving her excuse off. "No.. It's too dangerous. And if someone is after your father. You and your sister will be in enough danger as it is. Your father doesn't want that. And I won't allow for it either. You're going to stay out of it and go on pretending like you have no idea. I will figure it out one way or another okay? I promise." He said as he removed his hand from her shoulder to let his arms wrap around her and pull her in for a hug.
"I'm worried." She said quietly as she hugged him back. Mick nodded. "I know. So am I. I don't like not knowing the reasoning. But I will find it out. We always figure it out." He smiled in an attempt to reassure her. Lisa glanced up, giving nod of her head. "I know you do." She smiled in return.
"Mister Rory. Captain Stein wants everyone in the main room to discuss some things." Gideon's voice came up. Mick sighed. "Thank you Gideon." Mick glanced at Lisa. "You need to get going so your father doesn't notice you've been gone too long and suspect anything. Besides. You should still be resting shouldn't you? After your ordeal." Lisa scrunched up her nose. "I've had plenty of relaxing uncle Mick. The wound is almost completely healed. See?" Lisa lifted her shirt up slightly to show Mick her side. That her wound was healing well. Mick nodded. "I'll walk you back to make sure you're safe. Okay? Then you need to stay at the house until I myself give the go ahead to come here. This place is more dangerous than you think. And I don't want you in any more danger than you already could be." He didn't want Lisa to worry more than she already was. But the words had to be said. So she knew. "Deal?" He asked.
Lisa nodded. "Deal." She said. The two hugged once more before exiting out of the compartment and heading towards the exit. "I'll be back." Mick said to the team members before he exited off the ship. He and Lisa disappeared as Mick brought Lisa back home to her place.
