We're finally driving through my hometown, the town that despises my mother and I. My eyes staring out the window of Liam's mustang watching the nightmare town. "Seriously don't miss this place." I hear Liam says as he turns down my street."Me either," I whisper to myself. I smile softly as I see my mother's house lit up by the street lights. Even though I hate this town, I'm glad to be back at my mother's place. "She probably asleep since it's late," I tell him as we pulled into her driveway.
Liam nods his head before exiting out of the vehicle and walks over to my side to open my door. "How are we going to get in?" He asks me as I got out.
I follow him to the trunk to receive our luggage. "I have a key," I answer him, while we start walking towards the front door. I dig through my purse to get the keys, so we can quietly enter the house without waking my mother.
We step into the house and it was completely dark. I hang my purse by the door and turn on one of the lights. "We don't have a guest room but you can sleep on the couch. I can get you a pillow and a blanket." I tell him. Liam nods his head and walked towards the living room.
It was obvious where the living was since the entranceway is an open area connected to the living and dining room. While Liam takes a seat on the couch, I walked past the living room to go down the hallway to access the closet next to the laundry where we keep spare pillows and blankets. After I retrieve one of both items, I make my way back to Luke only to come to realize how it's a totally bad idea to have him sleep on the couch.
"Liam," I say as I walk up to him, he looks up at me locking his phone to show he was listening. "I actually think it's a bad idea for you to sleep here," I tell him anxiously.
"Why's that?" He asks.
"It's just my mother has no clue I was coming in tonight, so for her to come down and see a random guy sleeping on her couch would probably freak her out," I answer him. "You can sleep in my room," I add, which causes him to smirk at me and make my cheeks heat up. "I mean not in my bed, just like on my floor. I-If y-you want to." I stuttered a little at the last part. I feel so awkward because I never invited a boy to my room, well I never had the opportunity to.
Liam gets off the couch and grabs his bag than walks to the stairs to pick up my bag as well. "Are you going to show me to your room?" He asks while looking over at me. I nod my head as I walked over to him then begin to slowly and quietly make my way up the staircase. I hear him following me as I make my way down the hall towards my bedroom door.
I open it up and walked over to my bed to set the spare blanket and pillow on there before turning my table lamp on. I hear Liam set the bags by the door after he shut it. I slipped off my shoes and went over to my dresser to grab a pair of my nightclothes I left here before making my way to my bathroom to change. While I slipped out of my clothes to put on my baggy Gryffindor shirt and dolphin shorts, the thought hit me that I left Liam alone in my white and pink decorated room.
I put my dirty clothes in my hamper and walked back into my room to see Liam pulling off his t-shirt. I bit my bottom lip admiring his back muscles right before shaking the thoughts that appeared in my head, just to see him turn to take notice in my presents. "You can use my bathroom if you'll like," I say in almost a whisper. Liam doesn't say anything he justs grab what looks like a pair of sweatpants out of his bag and walked past me to get into the bathroom.
I decided to take this time and set up his sleeping spot for tonight on my floor. Laying everything out on my white fuzzy rug that's by my bed and the wall with the window. After I was done I laid down on my bed under my pastel pink blanket waiting for him to come back so I can turn the light off. I close my eyes to rest them right when I hear him walk back in. I open them just to see him get situated on the floor.
"Can I ask you something?" The words left my mouth before I can stop them.
"Sure," Liam answered in a sleepy tone.
I rolled over on my side to see him staring at my ceiling. "Why are you always at Conor's and going on this trip if you hate each other?" I finally asked him what I been dying to know.
"It's a long story." He tells me. "I'm gonna go to sleep. Night Chlo." He adds.
"Goodnight Liam," I say back as I rolled over on to my other side to turn off the light. 'At least he didn't harshly shut me down.' I thought to myself.
