Roman stood there staring at the rubble in total shock. He had come here because he was concerned. Virgil had disappeared without telling anyone and Patton would only tell him not to worry... that everything will work out the way it's supposed to. Clearly, that wasn't enough for him. So he thought about asking Deceit if maybe he would have an idea as to where Virgil might have run off to.

The problem was the moment Roman got there, he saw nothing but destruction. This intense fear crawled up into his gut as he stood there. Nothing but ash and rubble laid before him in a heap of horrid despair

"DECEIT!" Roman ran over crawling through the rubble actually praying that it was Deceit who had done this. If he did it meant he was alive. If he didn't... It meant he wasn't.

'And who's fault would it be then, Roro? The person who did destroy it... or you for locking him up in the first place?' Roman felt his chest tighten as he desperately tried to move the rubble. Using his powers he was able to get a lot out of the way but be couldn't help but wish Logan had come with him. The Astral's power is so much stronger than all the rest of them... well except for Patton maybe. Actually, it isn't that it's stronger because it's not. It that it has a multitude of uses. Astral magic is a branch type. At least that's what Emile said. Astral magic branched through several different types. It's about altering and out manipulating the planes around you. Telekinesis, teleportation, astral projection, healing... you name it, Logan could probably do it to a degree.

Roman had Energy magic. He can control the flow of energy giving it shape whilst either nullifying it or straightening it. It a sense he's able to manipulate the energy the put out with there magic.

That really doesn't do much save for creating large platforms to lift pieces of rubble away. Regardless he didn't stop his actions. Not until he found himself staring down at the melted chains. Melted... How could the chains have melted? Deceit doesn't have that power. No...

But Virgil does. Virgil has elemental power, although closely tied to fire due to being a dragon. He had the power to melt the chains.

Virgil was here?

'And he helped Deceit escape. He chose that snake over you how does that feel Roman? How does it feel to know you lost your love'

"I... I haven't lost him yet." Roman pushed himself off the rubble cringing as the sound of insane laughter filled his head. "SHUT UP!"

"If you do not remove yourself from the premises, we will be forced to take measures." The demon looked around at the guards that refused to move and smirked with a slight chuckle.

"So... You'd either drag us away or arrest us. Knowing the late king's preference, it was always arrest. But we wonder what Logi would choose." The guards shifted uncomfortably as the demon took a step closer. "We will give you a forewarning. We are not very good at holding back when angry, so don't piss us off. We're here to see our brothers."

"We cannot allow you to admittance without a proper invitation." The demon was getting exhausted. "Plus we cannot do as you asked, Prince Roman, is not here for us to relay your message."

"We are not leaving." They stood there letting their eyes glow slightly earning a look of apprehension from the guards. "We have a right to go in whether your aware of it or not. We will see our brother and you won't be able to hold us back should you even try." The guards gripped their hilts tightly as the demon frowned. "Surely there is someone in there who can help. Who exactly is in there, it's been so long since we were here. Has Logan found..."

"Leave now!" The guard shifted closer as a clear threat, allowing the demon to see a man with blond hair and a blue cloth wrapped around his eyes. He had a bright smile as he pointed behind the demon, before walking away. There was something about the man. His energy... He smelt of cinnamon cookies but his energy felt old... wise... strong... honestly scary as shit. It was like the energy bore into them spilling their worst secrets and there was nothing they could do to stop it. "I SAID MO..."

"Hey now..." They tensed up smelling the intense scent of roses and chocolate as a hand was placed supportively on their shoulder. The blondies energy was downright scary. The dragon's was dripping with pain. This one... This energy was tense and fighting for control. They all scared the demon someway, even though the blondies took the cake. They looked over to see a somewhat familiar face and they smiled. They were wearing their mask... all anyone could see were their eyes. Plus the fact that everyone thinks they're dead it's no wonder they won't let them in. "What's going on here?"

"This cretin is insisting on entry and will not obey the order to leave." Roman frowned moving away slightly as the demon growled.

"Last we check it is you who should be obeying us... you insubordinate guards." They pushed their hood back still leaving their mask up and sighed. "However, we will overlook that considering you were correct in saying that Prince Roman was indeed not here and so you could not give the message."

"Message, what message?" The demon smiled as he finally dropped his mask earning a look of growing confusion from the prince.

"They asked for our credentials. We said the only credentials they would need would be after they relayed a message to you or more precisely put ask you a question. Simply put, we told them to ask you what you would do if your own twin became dragon rider?" The look in Roman's eyes shifted dramatically from confusion to utter shock.

"Where did that question come from?" The guards shifted again seeing the shock in their prince so strong. The demon only smiled.

"It's been so long, Roman."
