"Stupid Druids!" The knights all yelled as Patton sent his staff directly into one's gut before shifting back and lunged back to catch another. You wouldn't imagine a blind man would be so good at fighting but you'd have to remember. Patton is psychic and can have a gift similar to blindsight. He can see. It's just not with his eyes. Plus he remembers every single reincarnation. A lot of them took to martial arts and he was good. "Why are the prince's of Ceit even fighting us?"

"Because we're druids!" Janus called out as his sword clashed with another. He smirked as this burst of light exploded and the one he was fighting feel back writhing in pain. "It's our job to protect and serve. You lot are causing a lot of needless death."

"Their just pathetic demons!" Janus flared his eyes shifting as he hissed angrily. 

"I'd what your tongue!" Janus sent a blast into the man who screamed in pain but no sound came out at all. Completely and total silence... a mutes curse. "Nevermind. I think I've taken care of it."

"Shitty Snake." Janus spun around just in time to see Patton smack his staff right into this guys temple making him drop on conscious.

"My brother is not... that." Patton whined as Janus just smiled softly, before jumping back into battle. 

"How hard is it to take down a damn druid?" They heard a man roar through the group making Janus hiss in warning. "We've already killed that shield prince. These two shouldn't be a problem." Janus froze like ice the second those words hit him. Patton frowned before spinning and cracking his staff into another's head not even seeming to pay what they're saying any mind. They just said... they said Roman was dead!

"PAY ATENTION JAN!" Patton yelled out forcing the serpent to snap back just in time to catch a blade and block it. 

"Patton, they said..."

"I know what they said." Janus's eyes narrowed as he shoved the man back and cut his arm off making the sword drop. Patton cringed at the sound of screams shaking his head before knocking another out. "Ignore it for now."

"BUT ROMAN!"

"Oh, so you know that idiot prince?" Janus froze as he found himself looking into these cold eyes. His heart just dropped as his mind started to pull him under. All he could think of was when he younger. He was completely frozen. "News got around. Roman Hayes is dead. The poor bastard was already injured anyway. He had no chance of winning."

"I'm sorry. I just...I don't believe that." Janus went to attack only for the man to smirk makign his entire body feel like ice. Work god damn it. Why won't his body work? Janus tensed up as the man took the sword from him before tossing it off. 

"Why don't you join him, huh? At least keep that pathetic excuse for a druid company." Janus flinched as the man went to strike only... he  never did. Janus frowned as he slowly opened his eyes to see the man frozen still, eyes wide in shock and horror. The sword slipped from his grasped as his head litterally just fell, his body about 3 second after, crashing to the dirt to reveal a man behind him. He had fiery scarlet eyes and curly black hair that faded to red at the tip. His his fingers blackened as if covered in soot, scales travaling down his form revealing the demonic entity that he was. Janus's eyes went wide as the man smirked pressing a finger to his lips as if to say not to tell. He laughed as he turned around and ran off into the trees competely disapearing.

"You're lying!" Remus screamed out as they fought against the knights that dragged him out of the room. "He's not dead! HE'S NOT DEAD!"

"Shut up!" One of the knights slapped the demon who suddenly lashed out and tried to bite back, his eyes glowing a sick green. "Freak."

"He's not dead!"

"Message was sent by knights of the part themselves. You're brother... Roman Hayes is dead." The King of Ceit cut in making Remus go cold. They just crashed to the dirt as their eyes searched about the place until... Virgil. Virgil was just standing there with this numb look. Remus couldn't read it. Was their brother really dead? 

"E-Emo." Virgil looked over and frowned seeing the tears in Remus's eyes. "Is he..."

"Remus, come now child." The Almira Queen lulled softly as she trailed her fingers down the man's chin. "You know better than to hold on to false hope. You're my best knight. I took you in. Taught you how to fight and survive. Have I ever lied to you before?" Remus's eyes dazed out as the queen pulled him into a hug. "You're brother is dead. We even were given his bloody sash as proof. Roman is dead." 

Virgil just stood there not reacting at all as he took in every knight. They were trying to move them. Apparently with Patton and Janus fighting in the forest and Logan taking the forfront with his armies on the battle field things were getting to hectic for the two royals. They were going to move them to some secret base off in the middle of nowhere as if that would ever keep Patton from finding them... Keep him from finding them. Doesn't matter. Virgil eyes started to glow as smoke began to eminate from his cuffs. He wasn't going to let them leave. Not when he KNEW he had to stay. 

"Stop that." Virgil smirked as the smoke only got stronger. Remus was to busy mourning his brother to notice but Virgil did. He could smell it clear as day. The sent of a forest fire. Of a garden turning to ash in the over bearing heat... of chocolate burning to a pan... 

"No." Virgil laughed making the two royals turn to glare at him only to freeze up. Virgil turned to see this bright blazing inferno at the tree line yet... none of the plant life ever actually burned. The fire as big and as imposing as it was never caused any harm... a man standing directly in the flame, his tatered and bloody shirt whiping around in the heated air. "I mean... It's not going to matter once he get's done with you all anyway." Virgil snapped as the man's eyes narrowed, a sick smirk playing on both there lips. Remus's eyes were wide in shock. That was a demon. He was a demon. He...

"L̷e̶t̴.̴ ̴T̷h̴e̴m̷.̶ ̵G̴o̸!̷"The man's voice roared until he was suddenly standing directly infront of the King hand burning into the man's neck. "B̴e̶f̶o̷r̵e̶ ̷I̸ ̸r̷e̷d̵u̸c̵e̸ ̶y̸o̵u̴ ̶a̵l̸l̸ ̴t̶o̵ ̵a̶s̸h̴ ̴a̸n̶d̸ ̴b̷o̶n̵e̵.̵"
