(I just want to put this here because I am very proud of my dedication lolz but also the work I will put into fixing a minor frustration. I literally spent 11 hrs going through ALL three books to change Cassidy's name to Janus because I was tired of writing the wrong name lolz)

Firelights shimmered dazzlingly around the chapel as Virgil slowly made his way through the crowd. The sea of people parted ways with every step letting him and Roman finally see each other happily. Roman couldn't help but tear up. Virgil was wearing that Franken style suit he and Janus altered. Everything just seemed... Perfect.

The whole day was just magic. The passing of vows... the ridiculous jokes... Even that one small incident where Roman got jealous thanks to his new demonic induced possessiveness. Virgil wouldn't have changed a single thing. He was in love and now... Now he was married.

He was no longer Virgil Sanders of the lost kingdom of Roe...
He was Prince Virgil Hayes of the Enchanted Forest.

After the wedding, Roman and Virgil both agreed to move into the enchanted forest, taking Elvires old place as their own. They took over his job of caring for the forest and the demons that lived there. They were happy. They didn't need to live in a big castle or even be royals. They just needed each other. And with Roman still learning to get a handle on being demonic... it was better to separate themselves from the rest of the world. At least for now anyway... They didn't see a reason not to.

Patton and Logan got engaged and formed a treaty through it, linking the kingdom of Ceit with Edawin. Of course, that meant that Patton joined Logan permanently in Edawin leaving Ceit without a ruler...

Well no. There was someone.

Janus was named king shortly after Patton's engagement. And as much as Janus wanted to yell that he didn't want the crown, he wasn't going to let his home go to ruin because his 'father' had died. So he took the crown much to everyone's surprise and ascended to the throne with a grace not even 'Deceit' had mustered before. What was an even bigger surprise however was Remus screeching about Demon kings before plopping on the throne saying they might like wearing a crown for once.

Basically, Remus had announced their engagement at the crowning ceremony without even having proposed. The entire kingdom had fallen into this shocked silence until Janus started giggling right there in front of everyone making Remus blush at the sound. Janus didn't even give anyone a chance to relax before saying in full confidence that they were basically married considering they were mates and kissed Remus right there while the demon knight sat on the throne.

Basically, his crowning ceremony was anything but traditional but neither demon cared an ounce because it was them, and that was all that really mattered.

Years later...
Years later that all seemed so trivial now.

Patton and Logan had their wedding as well, while Remus and Janus made their marriage official with just a simple elopement and rings. No one had ever seen Roman and Virgil since they had slipped out in the middle of the night for the enchanted forest. No one even knew where they were. Which was exactly how they wanted it.

Well, Patton did but he didn't tell anyone so it didn't really matter much. All that mattered was they were all happy.

Time moved and yet still Roman and Virgil were not heard from again. Years turned into decades... and the two kingdoms grew under them all. Eventually, time moved on to the point where... Roman and Virgil... They became a story one would hear about and dream of. The two demon princes. Their names were lost as people just stopped talking about them. Prince Roman Hayes was left to the books mentioned only in memories of the royal family. As Virgil Sander... His past... his presence... that was all forgotten just as the rest of his life was. The prince of Roe was completely drowned out back into the void it had originated from.

But Eragon... Eragon's legend only grew. The story about Eragon and his rider... his love... His mate. The legend of Clypeus The Demon Prince of Fire that tamed the dragon of Roe. Their stories spread like wildfire.

"Really? That's ALL you can give me?" The voice of a young man droned on with annoyance as he sat there in this cold tavern annoyed with everything. "That's the same nonsense I've heard from literally everyone that asked.

"Look kid I don't know what you want me to say. You're asking about a fairytale." The man's eyes narrowed at the bartender who spoke while pouring several other patrons drinks. "The Demon Princes don't exist. They're a child's' tale."

"There has to be SOMETHING you can give me!" The man cried out his back aching under the strain of holding himself back. "Please." The bartender sighed as he looked around with a sad look.

"Why do you care so much anyway?" The man crashed as he watched the bartender grab a cup to start wiping down. "You look like you're in your late teens. Surely you've learned the truth about it all now."

"Trust me... I'm a lot older than I look." The man growled lightly as he stared at his reflection in the glass. "It's important. I've asked hundreds of people and they've ALL given me the same thing or have led me to you. Please... You have to have something more than just... a fairytale." The bartender paused, his eyes darkened a bit, before just shaking his head.

"Information isn't free kid. You want to know more about Clypeus and Eragon you need to pay up."

"That won't be a problem." The bartender smirked softly as he once again glanced around the near-empty bar.

"Legend says Clypeus was a prince. Not just of demons... but an actual prince. If you want to find that dragon of yours I'd start with the kingdom Clypeus's legend originated from." The man smiled as he bent down to reach into his bag while the bartender laughed. "You want more information you need to head to Edawin. I'd recommend the old Adventurer's guild. There's a bar there run by an old friend. He's been running the place for decades the old geezer. If anyone knows anything about that dragon or the prince... it would be him."

"Thank you so much!" The man beamed as he quickly handed over a small little case making the bartender look up at him in confusion. "My payment. I figured it was more than enough to cover the information and my drinks."

"You're payment? What even is..." The bartender froze, his eyes wide seeing the small jars that filled the tiny case. Three crystal clear vials with glowing white liquid drew his attention in right away. "What... How?"

"Angel tears. Considering their usual prince on the market... and that's not including the black market... I'd say just one of those vials would set you for life. I gave you three. Do be wise with what you do with them. Angel tears are potent things." The man smirked as he started to get up from the bar only then rousing the bartender from his thoughts.

"Hey, Kid!" The man only sighed as he turned back to give the other an odd look. "How in the hell did you get these? Angels don't exactly just sit still and cry into a vial for you. There extremely rare to find let alone to get things from."

"Don't worry about that." The bartender groaned as he closed the case and held it tightly.

"As much as it burns me to ask... Are you sure your ok with just giving me this? You said it yourself Angel tears on the market would let you live like a king." The man just chuckled as his trench coat flurried a bit, letting a small white iridescent feather fall to the floor, shocking the bartender completely.

"I have plenty more where that came from. My only concern is finding the dragon of Roe. And you just gave me a good starting point. Those vials... I'm more than willing to part with them for it. So thank you." The man started for the door again as the bartender scrambled over the bar picking up the feather with tears in his eyes.

"W-Who... Who are you? Why do you care so much about a Demon?" The man stopped short his eyes flashing white as he smiled sadly. He let his trench coat slip from his shoulders revealing his large gorgeous white wings, that shined like a rainbow in all the lights. "Why would an angel care so much about a demon? Who are you?"

"My name is Thomas." Thomas beamed as he spun around letting his wings create a gust of wind that burst the doors open and in a split second he was gone. "And that dragon is my brother."
