"I just don't know the right choice." Roman sighed as he made his way through the hallway, a tiny lizard on his shoulder snuggled up close to his neck. "I love him. I love him more than anything but... I don't want him to suffer because of me." He didn't really understand why he was talking to a lizard but he couldn't deny that he felt better because of it. "He's been through so much and I don't want to add to it."

"Right now I think I should just focus on getting stronger, you know?" Roman turned a corner not really paying any attention as he just simply walked on. "If I get strong enough I can nullify that damned curse once and for all and no one will ever have to deal with it." Roman frowned as he deflated a bit. "I just feel bad Janus has to."

"It's ok though. I'll fix it and I'll make it up to him. I never meant to hurt him other than the... original intention with the curse. Locking him up wasn't about hurting him. I..." Roman froze up as tears fell from his eyes. "How am I supposed to face him?" The small lizard shifted a bit as Roman stood there frozen. "He was so afraid of me being like Deceit and I... I guess I am."

"I am like Deceit." This pit formed in his chest as Roman shook. Virgil freaked out feeling the pain off of him as he tried to pull his attention away from his thought but it wasn't really working. "I locked Janus up. I did such... horrible things to him. Hurt him... Yes, they were all in moments where I lost control but still, I..."

'Roamy, We all know you don't like Deceit. Stop lying to yourself and just kill the guy.' Roman froze up instantly, going stiff, starring Virgil who frowned seeing the way Roman's eyes went purple. 'Kill him and Virgil will HAVE to chose you. They'll be no one else.'

"I won't do that." Roman pushed himself further down the hall as Virgil silently freaked on his shoulder.

'You're pathetic. If you can't even kill for the man you love...'

"Virgil, wouldn't want me to do that so shut up!" Roman sighed angerly as his laughter filled his head. He didn't know where he was going but he prayed he'd get there soon. "Will you please shut up... just once?"

'Poor pathetic Prince Roman. You're weak, kid. Weak and broken. It's time to face the music... Deceit isn't the only one who lost his dragon.' Roman came to a complete stop at that one. His blood went cold and his eyes were wide as the realization struck him. 'The worst thing about it is Kuro was taken by force, Virgil left of his own accord.'

"Stop." Roman was shaking terribly. Tears were falling hard as he clenched and unclenched his fists. Virgil pawed at the prince but it wasn't doing a thing.

'You know I'm right. He left you because of what you became. A monst...' Virgil jumped up clawing and climbing his way up until he was in Roman hair. The prince frowned in confusion looking up just as Virgil slid himself just enough so that he could give Roman this look. 'Wait. Roman, I was talking to you!'

"What are you doing up there?" Roman laughed as he reached up only for Virgil to playfully nip at him. "Hey now, it isn't safe..."

'Are you ignoring me? Roman, I'm trying to tell you that you're...'

"Stop that." Roman giggled as Virgil rolled around his hair rustling about and tickling the man.

'ROMAN HAYES! LISTEN TO ME!' Virgil put a paw to Roman forehead just as the prince picked him up with a smile.

"You're a silly little one, aren't you?" Virgil pulled himself from Roman's hand only to carefully make his way over to rub up against Roman's cheek. He pushed himself up and booped his little nose in a sort of kiss making Roman laugh more. "Were you trying to help me?" Virgil nodded as Roman brushed his finger down his back getting a soft and happy purr. "Thank you."

'I give up. You're an ass. He's an ass. You're all asses!'

"Wait did he just..." Roman laughed again as he shook his head with a smile. "Well, that's a first." Virgil made a sort of squeak and Roman smiled softly. "Don't worry, little one. I'm ok now. Thank you." Roman made his way into a room just to get out of the hallway but he didn't make it very far. There on the couch was a sight he was never expecting to see. Janus and Remus laid fast asleep all curled up into each other. Roman couldn't hold back the squeal of delight. "Oh my. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god." Virgil laughed a little as Roman jumped giddily. "They look so cute together!"

'Keep talking and you'll wake them up.' Roman beamed as he moved a bit closer and Virgil hopped down onto the coffee table. Janus was laying on the couch with Remus laying on top of him. Janus had his arm wrapped in a protective manner over the demon who was clutching the others shirt tightly even in his sleep. 'It's sickening.'

"It's adorable." Roman sat on the coffee table with a smirk. He waved his hand over the two watching how the purple smoke wrapped around them until a blanket appeared. "What do you think little guy? Do you think they look cute together?" Virgil nodded as he spun around before laying down on the table. Roman just laughed as he smiled down at his sibling. "Hey." Roman nudge Remus lightly and chuckled at the sleepy groan the other gave. "You don't have to move. I just have a question."

"Leave..." Roman shook his head as he watched Remus cuddle up closer to Janus who smiled in his sleep.

"Do you love him?" Remus's eyes shot open wide to see Roman smiling down at him. Even Virgil was taken back by the question.

"What?" Roman's smile widened as Remus frowned in confusion.

"Do you love him?" Remus narrowed their eyes as they looked up at the man they were laying with and smiled slightly. "I won't judge. Trust me, Remus. Do you love him?" Remus nodded as he laid back into the snake with a sigh.

"Yes... I do."
