"Janus?" Remus frowned as the two were walking down the hallway. Remus's thoughts were getting to them a bit too much. "Janus? We just... We wanted to talk to you about... Well... I might have..."

"I already know Remus." The demon's eyes snapped up to see Janus smiling softly at them. "The whole thing in the bathroom... I kinda realized when Virgil said Logan had asked for permission."

"We're sorry. We didn't mean to, but we... we..." Remus growled as they came to a complete stop. Janus frowned seeing the anxiety in the other as they refused to meet his eyes. "I love you, Janus. I have for a long while." Janus chuckled softly as they pulled the taller into a hug. "Jan..."

"It's ok, Remus. I don't know why you would think I would have a problem with it. You chose me." Remus's eyes went wide as Janus started to cry. "It was hard to even believe when Kuro did but... You? Why? Why would you choose me? How could you love me?"

"Very easily we're afraid." Remus laughed softly as they held his love tightly. "Why do you think we tried so hard to get you to come home with us? We couldn't stand seeing you suffer like that Janus. You meant to much to us." Remus tensed as they quickly pulled away making Janus meet their eyes. "And I do mean US, Janus. All of me..." Janus's eyes slowly widened as Remus smiled fondly. "We love you so much. You mean more to us than anything... we couldn't not chose you."

"A demon's mate huh?" Janus smiled as Remus brushed his hair back. "I'm a demon's mate."

"You don't have to make a choice yet yourself, Jan." Janus faltered a bit as Remus just smiled. "You don't even have to choose us at all, we just... We just knew there was only one person we ever loved enough. There was no other choice for us."

"Who else would I choose, Ray? Virgil?" Janus laughed as he shook his head. "That dragon already has a mate... even if he hasn't 'chosen' him yet. Do you really Roman is only his rider. They're getting married. Besides... I don't love him anymore." Remus frowned in confusion as Janus glanced back the way they had come. "I don't love him like that anymore. I haven't for a while now. To be honest, I think I was just trying to hold on to the one thing that made me feel... better. I was never meant to be with Virgil. I don't want to be with Virgil. Not like that... not anymore."

"Janus..."

"But that's ok because... I realized something. I don't think I could EVER truly be with that dragon. Even if he hadn't chosen Roman... We never would have made it." Janus took Remus's hand softly as his eyes shined. "Not when I was still in love with another."

"Janus, we already said you didn't have to choose us. We don't need to know why you won't. If you care about another than fine."

"Ok, first off... that's a cold-blooded lie and we both know it." Remus cringed as Janus just laughed. "You'd kill the next person you saw me with but the good thing is... you won't have to."

"But you just said..."

"I couldn't be with Virgil whole-heartedly because I was still in love... with you." Remus's eyes went wide as Janus smiled softly. "You're a moron sometimes dude."

"Wait... wait a minute? we're confused. You..." Janus nodded as he pulled Remus in closer. Remus's eyes shifted demonically as Janus's shined a bright green. "Janus?"

"I love you, Remus Hayes. And it's about fucking time, dude..." Janus pulled Remus in till their lips met creating an explosion of electricity and smoke to bellow around them. As their kiss deepened Remus slowly brought them over to the wall pressing Janus against it as they literally breathed each other in. Janus wrapped his arms around their neck loosely as Remus started to ghost their lips down Janus's jawline. "I love you... I... Ray?" Remus's growled as Janus's scent sent them reeling. Their hands went to Janus's wrists forcing them to move until they had them pinned to the wall. Janus let out a soft breath as Remus kissed the crook of his neck. "Remus... don't... wait." 

Remus tensed, their eyes flashing as their demon started to come out more. They couldn't move. They just stood there holding Janus's wrist tightly pinned beneath him to the wall. Janus shifted slightly not he was uncomfortable at all. It was just he could feel the way Remus was shaking. They hadn't pulled away. The Demon hadn't moved an inch but they did stop what they were doing like Janus had asked.

"J-Jan..." Janus's eyes went wide as Remus moved just enough to look over at him. His heart dropped seeing the intense strain in the demon's eyes. "I can't... I... I can't..." Remus growled predatorily as they leaned in again as if to kiss him only to freeze up before they could. "You smell... too good."

"Let me go, Remus." Remus choked as their arms dropped, still they couldn't move. They just stood there forcing themself not to breathe hoping it stopped the scent from affecting them but... the damage was already done. Janus shifted in their line of sight making Remus growl again as they met his eyes with demonic ones. It was clear the demon side of Remus was in control despite how much the prince's side was holding them back. Janus just laughed as he took the demon's hands with a soft smile. "Follow me."

"J-Janus... I don't... I don't think I should." Janus just smiled as he started to lead them towards his guest room. "Jan, I can't... hold back much... longer. Please, I won't be able to stop." Janus rolled his eyes as he let the door open only for Remus to snap. The demon pushed Janus in as they locked the door. They had the snake against the wall again as they started to pull their shirt off. The scent of lavender tore at them completely as the demon came out full force. "Im srory. Im srory. I cnat sotp. I cnat... I need you. Pslaee, Juans. I'm srory." Remus threw their shirt off in some random direction as they practically attacked Janus with kisses to the neck. Janus gripped the demon's pants pulling them as close as he could as Remus growled in desperate need. "Janus..." Remus's eyes flashed as they struggled to gain any semblance of control but... all they managed was a slight pause in their actions. "You have to stop me. I can't stop myself." 

"You don't have to Remus." Remus's eyes went wide before the demon took over again and they pressed up against the other roughly. "I... I just wanted to move out of the hallway." Remus felt this shudder run down their spine as Janus started to mess with their pants. "Don't stop. Don't you dare stop."
