Roman found himself standing there in this dense forest fuming as he struggled to ignore the laughter in his mind. He didn't exactly know where he was going but he knew he was going the right way. He could feel it...that pull towards his dragon. Virgil was calling him.

The problem was... The pull was very weak now. Virgil was so far away at this point Roman couldn't feel his presence. Even using his magic to increase his speed on top of calling on his Dragon Rider abilities, He could not catch up.

He made it to this forest. It was deep and dark in greenery. Roman could feel the pulse of magic all around him. He knew. As much as he wanted to deny it so that he was blissfully unaware, he knew. He was in the enchanted forest. The magic occult and ethereal filled forest that borders the kingdom of Almira. Roman yelled out in frustration as he grabbed a rock and threw it at a tree, purple lightning crashing around him in response to his anger. He couldn't stand it. Being apart from his love was literally hell. His mind wouldn't shut up. He was increasingly jumpy and paranoid about everything. He could feel Virgil's pain and guilt over leaving. He could feel his desire to be back with him. It only made him all the more pissed off.

There was a snap of a twig making Roman freeze up hearing what sounded like a growl behind him. His eyes flashed a bright purple as his fingers twitched, more lightning sparking around them as he slowly looked back to find a large black shadowy hell hound.

"Shit."The hell hound stepped closer, smoke puffing from its nostrils as it huffed. Roman could feel the malice in it. It wasn't there to just say hello. Roman took off running, zipping through the forest as fast as he could with the sound of thundering feet just moments behind him.

"GET IN THERE!" A guard yelled as they tossed Remus onto the floor. The demon growled angrily as they glared back with fluorescent green eyes. The guard just scoffed as they pushed Janus in after making Remusjump up to keep him from falling and getting himself hurt. Janus just stood there, a blank look on his face, as he held the transparent yellow cage that Virgil was currently curled up in. Ascared squeak sounded from the cage making Janus's eyes narrow a bit before he just walked off, setting the cage on the couch before laying down on the bed alone.

The door closed and Remus frowned hearing the click of the lock as if that could keep them in. There were three demons in this room. If they wanted out... there was nothing keeping them locked in. Unfortunately, Janus wasn't in the right mind right now... Remus wasn't leaving without their mate.

Virgilyipped loudly and repeatedly until Janus groaned and the cage glitched out of existence. Virgil quickly shifted back into a human and Remus only sighed sadly seeing how red and puffy the dragon's eyes were.

"Janus..."

"Don't, Virgil." Virgil's eyes snapped over to Remus who just shook their heads with a sad look. "It's not going to change anything."

"Their right you know." Janus laughed brokenly as he curled up more on the bed. "Father got what he wanted. Us."

"Janus...please? What happened?" Virgil frowned as he just watched his friend stare off into the nothing. He sighed as he glanced around him trying to take everything in. They were in this room. A very large room... basically a suite to be honest. There were a couch and a coffee table. The bed was in this nook like area separate from everything. There was a large closet off to the side and a bathroom next to that. He walked himself over to the window and just stared down at all the bustling people. Guards and knights were running around the center with weapons sparing and practicing as if getting ready for a war. Knowing the king of Ceit, however, they probably were. "What do they want from us?"

"We're demon's, Virgil." Janus whispered slightly as he closed his eyes and shook. "They want weapons." Virgil's eyes narrowed in concern as Remus slowly made their way to the bed. "I'm sorry. My father... the king knew exactly what to say to set me off. And quite frankly..." Tears spilled from the snake's closed eyes as he felt the bed shift meaning Remus had sat down beside him. "I just wanted my dragon back."

"DAMN IT!" Roman yelled as he tripped and stumbled into the thorny bramble. He groaned as he pushed himself out ignoring the cuts and pricks that covered any and all exposed skin. He quickly whipped around just in time to through a shield up as the hell hound swiped it's paw at him making him fly back into a tree. The world spun around as he grunted desperate for any air that was knocked out of him.

"Fucking asshole," Roman grumbled as he pushed himself back up to his feet, summoning a sword as he glared the beast down. "Try me." He growled as he held his sword up defensively. The hell hound roared as he launched forward. Roman jumped to the side swinging his sword down catching the beast's ear just seconds before it spun and bit down on Roman's leg. The prince cried out in pain as he forced his sword down into the beasts head killing it bringing them both crashing to the ground.

"Shit .Fuck. That hurts." Roman whimpered as he used his sword to pry open the hell hounds mouth freeing his leg only to crash seeing how bloody and hurt he really was. "Of course... this is just great."

Roman held back the cry as he used the hell hounds body to stand up. He took a deep breath before trying to take a step and crashing back to the ground writhing in pain. His whole leg felt like it was burning. His blood was a dark color, near black from the hell hounds bite infecting him. He couldn't let that stop him though. He had to getup. He had to get to Virgil. He had to save those three. His love... his sibling... his friend. They were all in trouble and here he was bitten by a hell hound.

"Looks like you could use some help there."
